Keith Urban’s current run of international dates brought him to Bournemouth, England last week, where he got a warm — and creative — welcome from a family full of super-fans.

The family of five came to the concert wearing white t-shirts that each bore a letter of the singer’s name, so that when they stood in order, it spelled out “Keith” — and caught the singer’s attention. In front of a crowd of fans, Keith went down the line and said hello to each member of the family, including the especially starstruck parents.

“We’ve also got a room in our house that’s just covered in you,” the family’s dad, Dave, explained into a microphone. “Stalker!”

But Keith turned the potentially awkward moment into a joke, saying, “With your accent, it actually sounds like a nice person’s quality!”

The country superstar also greeted each of the couple’s three kids — two of whom were wearing cowboy hats — and even posed for a selfie with one of them. He also shared a few hugs with their mom, as she mouthed “Oh my God!” into the camera.

Keith shared the moment on Twitter after the show, captioning his post, “The shirt game was strong in Bournemouth.”

This week, Keith heads back over to this side of the pond for some more dates on his Las Vegas residency.

U2 singer Bono and guitarist The Edge paid a surprise visit on Sunday to a subway station in Kyiv, Ukraine, that’s currently serving as a bomb shelter, where the duo performed a short set that included some of their best-known songs, RTE.ie reports.

In a message posted Sunday on U2’s Twitter feed, Bono and The Edge wrote, “President [Zelenskyy] invited us to perform in Kyiv as a show of solidarity with the Ukrainian people and so that’s what we’ve come to do.”

According to RTE.ie and various posts on social media, the songs that the two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers performed included “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “Desire,” “With or Without You,” “Vertigo,” “Angel of Harlem,” “One,” and “Pride (In the Name of Love).”

Rolling Stone reports that Bono and The Edge also were joined by members of the Ukrainian band Antytila, who are now serving in the Ukrainian military, to perform a version of the Ben E. King classic “Stand by Me.”

Bono changed select lyrics in some of the songs to reference Ukraine, and Russia’s ongoing military invasion of the country.

The singer also addressed the crowd on hand for the performance, telling them, “The people in Ukraine are not just fighting for your own freedom, you are fighting for all of us who love freedom. We pray that you will enjoy some of that peace soon.”

20th Century Studios

20th Century Studios has released the teaser for Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel to James Cameron‘s 2009 sci-fi film, which remains the highest-grossing movie globally of all time.

The sneak peek, which is currently playing in theaters ahead of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is filled with breathtaking imagery of Pandora, the home to the series’ blue-skinned Na’vi people. However, things look a bit different, at least according to the trailer. Some of the humans, who invaded the planet in the 2009 film, are apparently working alongside their alien hosts. However, an unseen threat calls the Na’Vi to arms once again.

The footage is devoid of dialog, except for Sam Worthington‘s Jake uttering a line to Zoe Saldana‘s Neytiri: “This family is our fortress.”

According to the studio, Avatar: The Way of Water is set a decade after the original, and “begins to tell the story of returning heroes Jake and Neytiri and their children, the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”

The movie, which also stars returning performers Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang, as well as newcomers CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement and Kate Winslet, opens December 16.

The third film, which recently finished shooting, will arrive in 2024, while the fourth and fifth are respectively scheduled for 2026 and 2028.

20th Century Studios is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.

To commemorate Mother’s Day this past Sunday, Kanye West released a new video for his song “Life of the Party, one in which he uses deepfake technology to transform into a younger version of himself.

As a tribute to his late mother, Donda West, the video features photographs from Ye’s childhood that display special moments, such as elementary school photos, family portraits and snapshots of the rapper during his earlier music days.

Throughout the nearly seven-minute version of the song, which was released in November of last year and features Andre 3000, the two rap about messages they’d send to their “mama.” Andre’s mother passed away in 2013, while Donda died in 2007.

“Hey, Miss Donda, You run into my mama / please tell her I said ‘Say something’ / I’m startin’ to believe ain’t no such thing as heaven’s trumpets / No after-over, this is it, done / If there’s a heaven, you would think they’d let ya speak to your son,” Andre 3000 says in his first verse.

The special new video also incorporated pieces from the recently announced Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collaboration which is set to release on May 25.  Ahead of the new collection, Gap rebranded its entire Instagram account to feature nothing but excerpts from the “Life of the Party” video and Ye’s throwback photos.

“Life of the Party” with Andre 3000, is the latest song and visual off Ye’s Grammy nominated 10th studio album, Donda, which is named after and dedicated to his mother.

Pearl Jam continued to pay tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins with a cover of the Foo Fighters song “Cold Day in the Sun” during their concert in Los Angels over the weekend.

As the original “Cold Day in the Sun,” which appears on the 2005 Foos album In Your Honor, features Hawkins on lead vocals, PJ drummer Matt Cameron stepped up to the mic to sing the cover. David Bowie drummer Mark Guiliana manned the kit for Cameron, while Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers also took the stage to play tambourine.

In introducing the performance, Eddie Vedder said, “It’s never easy when you lose someone. As you get older, you’ll notice it starts happening more and more…But sometimes, like this, it’s so unexpected.”

“But also, it makes it harder because he was someone who truly, truly loved living life on this planet,” Vedder continued. “So I guess the one thing we can be consoled by is the fact that he never wasted a moment, and he did live his life to the fullest.”

You can watch fan-shot footage of the cover streaming now on YouTube.

Pearl Jam is currently on tour supporting the band’s 2020 album, Gigaton. During the run’s opening show in San Diego last week, Vedder called Hawkins, “very incredible and very special.”

(NEW YORK) — Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness kicked off the summer blockbuster season this weekend, raking in an estimated $185 million in its domestic debut. And with more blockbuster films expected over the next couple of weeks, more Americans may be headed to theaters soon — but it may cost them.

In an effort to offset inflation and losses stemming from the pandemic and streaming services, some movie theaters are hiking up prices.

ABC News’ Becky Worley appeared on Good Morning America Monday to break down what surge pricing could mean for moviegoers:

(ORLANDO, Fla.) — A new roller coaster has been unveiled at Walt Disney World — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

The family-thrill attraction matches the “grandiosity” and fun of the hit Guardians of the Galaxy movies and involves new innovation from Walt Disney Imagineering with 360-degree rotation to show guests all the action.

It also features the first reverse-launch on a Disney roller coaster aboard and is one of the largest fully enclosed coasters in the world.

Riders can expect to crank up an awesome mixtape aboard a starblaster and blast off on an awesome intergalactic chase through time and space featuring the legendary cosmic outlaws — Rocket, Groot, Drax, Gamora and Star-Lord (a.k.a. Peter Quill).

The fully-enclosed and immersive ride is located in the park’s newly renamed World Discovery neighborhood — the first ‘other-world’ showcase pavilion at EPCOT.

The ride follows a story of Eson — a Celestial that has been watching Earth for eons and intends to use the Cosmic Generator to jump back in time and change the course of humanity.

Nova Prime Irani Rael commands her top officer, Centurion Tal Marik, to contact the Guardians of the Galaxy right away and ask for their assistance. As the Terrans evacuate the ship via Starjumper shuttles — small escape pods that launch from the Starcharter cruiser — the Guardians arrive to reprogram the Starjumpers so guests can help them track down Eson in an intergalactic chase.

The new attraction officially opens on May 27 at Epcot as part of the park’s multiyear transformation.

While Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was conjuring up box office magic all over the world, writer-director James Gunn called a wrap on another Marvel Studios project. With a picture of the movie’s “clapper,” Gunn said the threequel wrapped on Saturday.

“After over 100 days of shooting & over 3000 shots, this is the slate for the final shot of #GotGVol3, presented to me by the camera crew,” he began a lengthy post on social media.

“It was an easy shot of Rocket seated…& took everything in me not to break down sobbing on the spot,” Gunn explained.

The Peacemaker creator added, “The majority of the last ten years of my life have been spent working on & thinking about the Guardians. I still have a long road ahead of me with VFX [visual effects] & editing, but it was still momentous to me.”

“It is somewhat simple to explain to others how much I love this cast & crew. It is more difficult to explain how much I love these characters – that I see them as parts of myself & parts of those I love, & filming them, & writing their words, is a way of expressing that love,” Gunn expressed.

He added, “…shooting that last shot was a reminder of the warm impermanence of life & love, & how that impermanence makes it so precious, so valuable, & is a good reason to be grateful for what I have right now.”

Gunn also posted a photo of his celebrating with his cast, including Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, and Karen Gillan. He added, “and Zoe [Saldana] was with us, too!”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is slated to hit theaters May 5, 2023.
