Bruce Springsteen to be interviewed, perform on ‘The Late Show’ tonight

Bruce Springsteen will pay a visit this evening to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where the Boss will be interviewed and will deliver a solo performance.

Springsteen has at least two upcoming releases that he can promote on the show. On Tuesday, October 26, Renegades: Born in the USA, the book Bruce co-authored with former president Barack Obama, will be published; and in November, The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts, a film and album documenting Springsteen’s performances with the E Street Band at the historic MUSE benefit concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden, will be released in various formats.

This will mark the third time that Springsteen has been a guest on The Late Show, having previously appeared on the program on October 2020 and September 2016.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Hilaria Baldwin posts about “tragic incident” that left cinematographer dead on husband Alec Baldwin’s film

Hilaria Baldwin has broken her silence over the deadly accidental shooting that occurred last Thursday, when her husband, Alec Baldwin, fired a pistol allegedly containing a live round, fatally striking cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring the film’s director.

“My heart is with Halyna,” Hilaria said on Instagram. “Her husband. Her son. Their family and loved ones. And my Alec.”

“It’s said ‘There are no words’ because it’s impossible to express the shock and heartache of such a tragic incident,” Hilaria continued, concluding with, “Heartbreak. Loss. Support.”

Police are still investigating the incident on set of the Western Rust. It’s suspected that a live bullet was loaded into a pistol Baldwin fired while rehearsing for a scene, striking 42-year-old camera operator Hutchins and grazing director Joel Souza. Alec Baldwin was also a producer of the movie.

The pistol that was used in the fatal scene was reportedly left on a cart by the movie’s armorer, 24-year-old Hannah Gutierrez Reed, and picked up and declared “cold” — or safe — by the film’s assistant director, Dave Halls, who told investigators he handed it to Baldwin before the incident. Halls told police he didn’t know the pistol was loaded.

There were already safety concerns raised by crew members on the film’s New Mexico set, ABC News has learned. Gun safety concerns had been “brushed off” by its producers, a camera crew member told ABC News after the incident.

Producers are cooperating with local authorites’ investigation.

Only a week earlier, Hilaria Baldwin posted a photo of a smiling Alec in costume on the New Mexico set of the film. “Told ya I was gonna marry a cowboy soon,” she captioned it, adding a cowboy emoji.

LoCash head into the ‘Woods & Water’ with new EP

LoCash are ready to take fans into the Woods & Water.

The chart-topping duo of Preston Brust and Chris Lucas channel their backwoods upbringing into the new EP, out on November 5. The five-song project reflects their passion for the outdoors with titles including “In the Woods,” “Sippin’ Sunsets” and “Beach Boys,” the latter of which was co-written byBrian Wilson, co-founder of the Beach Boys.

“We can’t wait to share this music! We kept it all on a positive note like we do best, and we collaborated with some bucket list voices and writers. Woods & Water is LoCash’s latest project since their 2019 album, Brothers, which included the #1 hit, “One Big Country Song.”

Adele makes it look easy as “Easy on Me” tops ‘Billboard’ Hot 100

Adele easily topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week with her new single, “Easy on Me.”

It’s quick ascension to the number-one spot is no surprise, given it cracked the top 100 at number 68 in just it’s first five hours of release on October 14.

“Easy on Me” is Adele’s fifth number one overall and first chart-topper since “Hello” reigned for 10 weeks in 2015-16. According to MRC Data, the song drew 65 million radio airplay audience impressions and 53.9 million U.S. streams and sold 74,000 downloads in the week ending October 21.

“Easy on Me” is the lead single off Adele’s new album, 30, which drops November 19.

Snoop Dogg remembers his mother who passed away Sunday

Condolences to Snoop Dogg and his family following the passing of his mother, Beverly Tate, on Sunday.

Snoop’s father, Vernell Varnado, confirmed her death, writing on Instagram, “Snoop’s mom has passed today. Can all my fans pray for our family. We need it more than ever. Thanxs.”

Beverly Tate was 70 years old.

“Mama thank u for having me,” Snoop commented with an Instagram photo of the two of them. In a separate post, he added, “Thank u god for giving me an angel for a mother. .”

Numerous stars, including Taraji P. Henson, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Larenz Tate, Mike Epps, Bow Wow, Chuck D, E40, and Big Boi from Outkast sent prayers to the iconic rapper.

Cardi B wrote, “Sorry Uncle Snoop. Love and peace to your family.” Dwayne Johnson commented. “I’m so sorry All our Johnson love and mana sent you and your family’s way.”

As previously reported, Snoop Dogg celebrated his 50th birthday last week with a party at his home in Inglewood, California attended by Epps, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Fabolous, and many more.

Tai Verdes announces HDTV Tour kicking off next spring

Tai Verdes is hitting the road again in 2022. The “A-OK” singer has announced his 20-city HDTV Tour, set to kick off next spring.

The trek will begin April 19 at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA, and hit cities including Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York and Chicago. It’ll wrap in Los Angeles at The Belasco on May 22.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, October 29 at 10 a.m. local on TaiVerdes.com.

Is Limp Bizkit’s new album dropping on Halloween?

Will we be ending the spooky season with a new Limp Bizkit album?

Fred Durst appears to be teasing the arrival of the “Break Stuff” outfit’s long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s Gold Cobra, possibly hinting at a Halloween release date.

In a recent Instagram Story, Durst shared a preview of the upcoming record’s cover artwork, along with the caption, “Instead, all [pumpkin emoji] will drop on Halloween.”

Previously, Durst promised that the Bizkit was about to release new songs “one after the other in rapid succession.” So far, we’ve only got the new single “Dad Vibes,” which dropped in September following its live debut at Lollapalooza over the summer.

Ed Sheeran previews all 14 songs on his new album via YouTube Shorts

Ahead of the Friday release of his new album, = (Equals), Ed Sheeran is giving fans a preview of all 14 tracks on the project, via YouTube Shorts.

Ed has created a brief video clip for each song on the album, featuring a snippet of the song and some kind of visual. For “Shivers,” he’s wearing a suit and dipping his foot into a bathtub filled with ice water. In the song “First Times,” you can see Ed snuggling with his wife Cherry. The clip for “The Joker & the Queen” features Ed and Cherry’s two cats.

In the song “Visiting Hours,” written in memory of his late friend, concert promoter Michael Gudinski, Ed shows off “4 Things You Wish They’d Been There To See”: Ed’s new album, his wedding to Cherry, his daughter Lyra, and the fact that he accidentally ordered a pallet of Michael’s favorite wine.

You can watch all 14 of the Shorts, one after another, now on YouTube. You can also create your own videos using the clips, and post them with the hashtag #SheeranShorts. Ed wrote on Instagram that he’s going to “pick some favorites to win some custom signed artwork.”

“I had a really fun day shooting my YouTube Shorts,” said Ed in a statement. “I’ve always really enjoyed the music video process, so it was fun to explore a new way of doing that by channeling each song’s theme in a unique way, while also giving you a sneak peek of the album!”

Ed is currently quarantining, having announced over the weekend that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Spencer star Kristen Stewart says, “I’ve probably made five really good films”

Kristen Stewart has been acting since she was 10, but the actress who rose to pop culture icon status with the Twilight films admits, “I’ve probably made five really good films.”

The actress told this to the Sunday Times, explaining she’s made dozens of films, but there aren’t many she’s still passionate about. “[O]ut of 45 or 50 films? Ones that I go, ‘Wow, that person made a top-to-bottom beautiful piece of work!,'” those are, “few and far between,” she admits.

Having said that, Stewart says she “doesn’t regret the experience” of working on any of her films. She explains, “I’ve only regretted saying yes to a couple of films and not because of the result, but because it wasn’t fun. The worst is when you’re in the middle of something and know that not only is it probably going to be a bad movie, but we’re all bracing until the end.”

For the record, two of those “four or five”good films include 2014’s Clouds of Sils Maria and 2016’s Personal Shopper, both thrillers directed by French filmmaker Oliver Assayas.

Stewart called her choices in the past “a total crapshoot,” but added she’s now acquired a “better nose for what’s going to be fruitful.”

That seems to have been the case with Spencer, in which she plays the late Princess Diana and that already has the one-time Twilight Razzie Award winner on the Oscars short list.

Future gives Drake a Rolls-Royce Phantom for his birthday

Following the title of their 2020 collabo, Future made sure “Life Is Good” for his longtime friend Drake by giving him a very special Rolls-Royce Phantom for his birthday. The Atlanta MC presented him with the same car Drizzy used to rent for $5,000 a month 14 years ago.

The “In My Feelings” rapper, who turned 35 Sunday, revealed the news on Instagram.

“Back in 2007 we used to finesse this Rolls-Royce Phantom rental to convince people in the city we were destined to make it,” Drake wrote with a video of him in the car years ago, and a new photo next to his gift over the weekend. “I used to scrape together 5k a month somehow to keep up appearances.”

“Today in 2021 my brother @futuretheprince tracked down the exact car I use to stress over and gifted it to me,” he continued. “It’s mine now. Manifestation complete. Thank you for all the love and appreciation and gifts and texts and dm’s…more than just loved I feel truly appreciated and that is the only gift I ever needed.”

Young Thug, whose new album Punk just replaced Drake’s Certified Lover Boy at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, also presented the Champagne Papi with a custom OVO chain, featuring a photo of him with his son Adonis on the back, according to Complex.

The Toronto superstar celebrated his 35th birthday Saturday night in LA with a big bash at Goya Studios attended by many stars, including Future, Chris Brown, Offset, Jack Harlow, Draya Michele, LA Clippers basketball star Kawhi Leonard, and French Montana, the latter of whom also performed, according to People. Drake was dressed wild wild West style, wearing a denim shirt, tan leather jacket with fringe and white cowboy hat.
