Report: Kanye West buys house across the street from Kim Kardashian

Kanye West is determined to reconcile with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.

After unsuccessfully calling for her to “run right back to me, baby” at the Free Larry Hoover concert on December 9, Ye is now taking another approach. He bought a house in California right across the street from Kim, according to People.

The Donda rapper paid $4.5 million for the house that initially was listed for $4.1 million. The home was constructed in 1955 and reportedly needs to be rebuilt.

“It will be family-friendly. He wants to be able to have the kids over as much as possible,” a source says. “Living only in Malibu was making visits more tricky for Kanye.”

Kanye and Kim share daughter North, 8, son Saint, 6, daughter Chicago, 3½, and son Psalm, 2½.

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February after nearly seven years of marriage. Kim is now dating Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson.

Prior to dedicating his song “Runaway” to Kim at the Free Larry Hoover concert, Yeezy talked about reuniting with her at the Los Angeles Mission’s Annual Thanksgiving event in November,

“When God brings Kimye together, there’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation,” West said.

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason’s tour with Saucerful of Secrets postponed until later in 2022

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason‘s current band, Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, has announced that its planned North American tour, scheduled to begin in January, has been postponed.

A message on the band’s official Twitter feed announced, “It is with great regret that due to the uncertainty surrounding the Covid pandemic, it has been decided to postpone the North American tour until later in the year. Apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment due to this.”

“We are working on rescheduling the dates and will announce them as soon as we can,” the message continued. “Ticket holders are advised to await further information from the venue and/or ticket company where they purchased their tickets.”

The trek, called the Echoes Tour, had already been postponed for over a year due to the pandemic. This time, it was set to kick off January 18 in Toronto and wrap up February 23 in Vancouver, with 23 U.S. concerts in between.

Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets performs Pink Floyd music that predates the band’s classic 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon. The group also features Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp, longtime Pink Floyd and David Gilmour touring bassist Guy Pratt, and veteran session musicians Lee Harris and Dom Beken on guitar and keyboards, respectively.

Netflix drops trailer for ‘Cheer’ season two

Break out your pom-poms: Cheer is back for season two.

Netflix dropped a surprise trailer for the docuseries, announcing its return on January 12.

This season, the competitive cheerleading team at Texas’ Navarro College will be dealing with their newfound fame, as well as the aftermath of the arrest of one of their teammates, Jerry Harris, who was booked last year on multiple charges, including soliciting child pornography.

“I can’t even, like, process it right now,” coach Monica Aldama says in the trailer.

The trailer also shows Navarro dealing with a new adversary in Trinity Valley Community College’s cheerleading team.

Season one of Cheer was a huge hit for Netflix when it debuted in January 2020.

Dave Mustaine plays clip of new Megadeth song in Cameo video

Dave Mustaine shared a preview of the next Megadeth album in a recent Cameo for a fan.

In the video, which was posted to YouTube, Mustaine plays a clip of a track called “Life in Hell” as a special holiday treat for the Cameo recipient.

“I think that makes you the first person in the outside world, outside of the studio and the band and my family, that’s heard any music from the new record,” Mustaine tells the fan.

Megadeth’s next album, titled The Sick, the Dying…and the Dead!, is expected to arrive in spring 2022. It’s the follow-up to 2016’s Dystopia, and will be Megadeth’s first record to follow the firing of bassist David Ellefson, who was let go from the band after sexually explicit videos of him leaked online.

“We love you”: Maddie & Tae postpone tour dates

Maddie & Tae are hitting pause on their upcoming tour.

The duo has announced via Instagram that they are postponing dates on the CMT Next Women of Country: All Song No Static Tour “out of precaution” as Taylor Kerr, who is pregnant, has been placed on temporary bed rest. The singers assure that both the mother and baby are “doing great.”

“As excited as we are to get out on the road and see everyone, we are holding off on our return a little bit longer,” Maddie & Tae write. “We appreciate your understanding and we’ll be back on tour with new music as soon as we can!”

The CMT Next Women of Country Tour was scheduled to kick off on January 6 and continue through February 12. The duo says that the rescheduled dates will be unveiled soon, closing the message by telling fans “we love you.”

Tae announced in November that she and her husband, hit songwriter Josh Kerr, are expecting their first child, a girl, in spring 2022.

Maddie & Tae are set to release their new album, Through the Madness Vol. 1, on January 28.

Britney Spears says she doesn’t do music anymore because of the “awful things” she went through

Britney Spears laid out another lengthy Instagram post Monday addressing why she’s no longer doing music.

The singer said she’s not making or performing new music because of the “awful things” that were done to her.
“So much wasted time to only embarrass me and humiliate me and I guess it seems odd to most now why I don’t even do music anymore,” she wrote.

She added that after what she’s been through, she’s “scared of people and the business.”

“They really hurt me!!!!!!” she said. “Not doing music anymore is my way of saying ‘F*** you’ in a sense when it only actually benefits my family by ignoring my real work.”

Britney also addressed one of her since-deleted posts from last week, in which she listed some of her accomplishments and promised to be her “own cheerleader.” She admitted to having “serious insecurities” and felt she may have come across as an “obnoxious 8 year old” by rattling off her career milestones, but she explained why she did it.

“Honestly my family embarrassed me and hurt me deeply… so tooting my own horn and seeing my past accomplishments reflecting back at me actually helped!!!!” she wrote.

Jared Leto pays tribute to late ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ director Jean-Marc Vallée: “A filmmaking force”

Jared Leto has shared a tribute to his late Dallas Buyers Club director Jean-Marc Vallée.

In a tweet alongside a photo of him alongside Vallée, the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman wrote, “A filmmaking force and a true artist who changed my life with a beautiful movie called Dallas Buyers Club.”

“Much love to everyone who knew him,” Leto added. “Life is precious.”

The photo shows Leto holding the Golden Globe he won for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. His performance also earned him the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.

Vallée died unexpectedly over the weekend at age 58, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Along with Dallas Buyers Club, Vallée directed films including Wild and The Young Victoria, as well as the TV series Big Little Lies and Sharp Objects.

“Y’all Means All”: Miranda Lambert releasing inclusive song in new season of ’Queer Eye’

Miranda Lambert is continuing to demonstrate her LGBTQIA+ allyship by contributing a song to the new season of Queer Eye.

As an end-of-year gift for fans, Miranda has revealed that she’s written and recorded the song “Y’all Means All” for the show’s upcoming season, set for release on New Years Eve.

Filmed in the country superstar’s home state of Texas, season six of Queer Eye follows Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski and Bobby Berk as they provide fashion and lifestyle makeovers to a person who is transitioning, a honky tonk owner, a group of high school seniors attending prom and more.

The latest trailer features a clip of Miranda’s inclusivity-themed track, in which she sings, “If your life is like a tornado/All you need is a smoke and a rainbow” before chanting “y’all means all.”

“Here’s one last surprise for y’all this year! A new song “Y’all Means All” will be out on 12/31 to celebrate the new season of @QueerEye that filmed all in Texas!” the hit singer writes on Twitter.

“OMG We partnered with THE country music queen @mirandalambert for her new song Y’all Means All debuting alongside S6 on 12/31,” the Queer Eye account shares.

Earlier this year, Miranda released a video for the remix of “Tequila Does” featuring her brother, Luke, and his husband, Marc. She has also attended Pride parades with the couple.

Michael Bublé says goodbye to Christmas, hello to new music

Michael Bublé may be Mr. Christmas, but this year, he’s fine with saying goodbye to the holiday season, because he’s got something new coming down the pike.

Michael has posted a Claymation video on his socials that shows him walking up to a turntable that’s playing his version of “Jingle Bells,” taking the record off and throwing it away. He then replaces it with a new record, which we’ll get to hear on January 14, 2022. From the snippet that plays, it seems to be a song called “I’ll Never Not Love You.”

Michael’s new album is due in 2022 and he’s already said he feels as though it’s the best one he’s ever done. As previously reported, he’ll celebrate the new album with a limited engagement at Resorts World in Las Vegas that runs from April 27 to May 7.
