Ed Sheeran, ‘Play’ album (Gingerbread Man Records/Atlantic Records)
Sabrina Carpenter partnered with Van Leeuwen ice cream last year for a signature flavor inspired by her hit “Espresso.” Now Ed Sheeran is teaming with the company for a flavor inspired by the color of his upcoming album.
Peoplereports that on Wednesday, Van Leeuwen will launch Play Pink ice cream — two days before Ed’s album Play, which has a pink cover, is released. According to People, the frozen pink treat is punch-flavored and is swirled with dragonfruit and guava cake, making for Van Leeuwen’s “pinkest ice cream” ever. It’ll be available at New York City scoop shops for a limited time.
Play, which is the follow-up to Ed’s 2023 albums Subtract and Autumn Variations, features the previously released songs “Azizam,” “Sapphire,” “Old Phone” and “A Little More.” The day the album comes out he’ll release the video for “Camera.”

That line in “Stressed Out” about mama singing you to sleep is about to get real for Twenty One Pilots‘ Josh Dun.
The drummer and his wife, Debby Ryan, announced on Instagram Sunday that they’re expecting their first child. “dun&dun + one,” Ryan captioned a carousel of photos, which included the sonogram, several photos of Ryan showing off her very pregnant belly and a retro-style cartoon depicting the expectant couple.
Dun and Ryan, a singer, actress and former Disney Channel star, wed in 2019.
Dun and musical partner Tyler Joseph are also awaiting the birth of their latest musical baby: Their album Breach arrives Friday, followed by the Breach tour, which launches Sept. 18 in Cincinnati.

Over the decades, the MTV VMAs have featured its share of unexpected moments, but Sunday night’s installment of the show included something truly unusual: The first music we heard was the saxophone stylings of Kenny G.
The smooth jazz superstar played an instrumental introduction before Doja Cat took the stage to perform her hit “Jealous Type.” Kenny told Entertainment Tonight that the pop superstar’s team simply reached out to him, and he said yes. “I said, ‘Are you sure?’ And they said yeah,” Kenny told ET. “And so we worked out that introduction, we made up that whole thing, just to get her going on the song.”
Kenny also said it was his first-ever appearance on the MTV VMAs, noting that back in the day he was more of a VH1 artist.
He wrote on Instagram, “I was super excited to be part of a night that’s usually reserved for the new, young, current artists. Getting to actually open the show was absolutely surreal! I was so flattered that @dojacat wanted me to be part of her song and to share her performance with me tonight. She couldn’t have been more welcoming, and it truly made this old guy feel great!”
Different Night Same Rodeo isn’t just the title of Bailey Zimmerman‘s sophomore album anymore, it’s now the name of his 2026 tour.

You can register for presale access online through Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. CT. Advance sales start Thursday, before tickets become available to the public on Friday.
Coming up, Bailey plays the final two dates on his New to Country Tour in Reno, Nevada, on Friday and Laughlin, Nevada, on Saturday. Dylan Marlowe joins him for both shows.

Coldplay launched their Music of the Spheres tour in 2022 and it doesn’t sound like it will be ending anytime soon.
During the band’s concert at London’s Wembley Stadium Saturday, frontman Chris Martin revealed they have more shows planned for the tour, although fans will have to wait a bit for those to happen.
Fan-shot footage posted to social media shows Martin telling the crowd, “The tour has 138 more shows to go,” noting, “We have a break coming up, and we’ll announce the shows for 2027 soon.”
“But we only have a few more this year, and then we’re gonna go and make this really special thing that we’ve been making for years and years and it’s really good,” he added, although he didn’t share any other details about what that “thing” is.
Coldplay actually only has one more show on the books for 2025. They will play Wembley Stadium again on Friday.
Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour launched in San Jose, Costa Rica, in March 2022. The last time the tour was in the U.S. was in July.
Cardi B is doing all she can to sell copies of her upcoming sophomore album, Am I the Drama? She was spotted in NYC over the weekend working as a street vendor attempting to sell copies of the project. “What up, y’all? We got the exclusive Cardi B new album,” she said while burning incense over the sounds of Bob Marley‘s “One Love.” “We got the vinyls, we got the CDs, we got the [Courtroom] Edition. $9.99!” “My label said I gotta get out in these streets and sell this album,” she captioned an Instagram post.
Chris Brown has finally weighed in on the ongoing debate about who’s better between him, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and Usher. He suggested in an Instagram Story, captured by Vibe, that they “are all the BEST superstars in lanes of their own.” He notes that while he’s been influenced by the other artists, his focus is on being the best Chris Brown possible and shared his hope that they all have done enough to “keep this art form alive.”
Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa and Don Toliver will headline Rolling Loud India, taking place Nov. 22 to Nov. 24. Also tapped to perform that weekend are Swae Lee, DaBaby, Denzel Curry, Ski Mask the Slump God, Sheck Wes, Westside Gunn and more. Tickets are currently on sale.
