President Donald Trump said Monday that Sean “Diddy” Combs has reached out to ask for a pardon following his conviction on two prostitution-related charges.

“A lot of people have asked me for pardons,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “I call him Puff Daddy, [he] has asked me for a pardon.”

A representative for Combs declined to comment on Trump’s remarks Monday.

Combs was sentenced on Friday to over four years in prison. He will get credit for the 12 months he’s already served at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in September 2024, as well as be fined $500,000.

Combs’ lawyers, who spoke exclusively with ABC News on Friday, said they are considering an appeal, arguing that the judge unfairly imposed a sentence four times longer than what they had requested and that it was improperly based on unproven allegations not included in the conviction.

“The jury made it very clear in their verdict that they acquitted him of the sex trafficking and the RICO counts,” lead attorney Teny Geragos said at the time. “Not guilty means not guilty.”

According to a letter from his legal team, Combs has asked to serve his sentence at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey that houses about 4,000 inmates and offers a drug treatment program known as RDAP, or the Residential Drug Abuse Program.

“In order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts, we request that the Court strongly recommend to the Bureau of Prisons that Mr. Combs be placed at FCI Fort Dix for RDAP purposes and any other available educational and occupational programs,” Geragos said in the letter on Monday.

Sara Bareilles is living her own personal “Love Song” — she and her longtime boyfriend, actor Joe Tippett, have gotten married.

The “Brave” singer posted photos from her big day on Instagram, writing, “We did a big thing. I will just say I love this man and I love the community who came to hold us up. I am feeling so lucky and so grateful.”

The photos show that the couple had an outdoor wedding in a rural location. The ceremony included their adorable dog, who walked down the aisle in front of them in a little tuxedo. According to a previous post by Tippett, the wedding took place Oct. 4.

Sara and Joe met in 2015 while working on Sara’s musical Waitress. They started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement on Instagram Jan. 1, 2023.

In 2024, People asked Sara if she planned to play any of her own songs at her wedding. She said, “Absolutely not. I mostly hear my songs in Bed Bath & Beyond. So I’m going to do somebody else’s songs. I don’t need to hear mine!” No word on whether she actually did perform at the event.

It’s the week’s second-biggest debut following Doja Cat‘s Vie, which debuted at #4. Mariah Carey‘s Here for It All entered the chart at #7, and Cardi B‘s Am I the Drama? remained on the chart, dropping from #1 to #3.

Megan Thee Stallion is still with Klay Thompson. She posted an Instagram Reel Monday capturing some of their quality time together. It’s soundtracked by an upcoming song she’s been teasing on social media, which samples Total‘s “Kissin’ You.” “My baby, my babyyy,” Megan captioned the Reel. The video shuts down breakup rumors stemming from Klay’s refusal to answer questions about their relationship during media day for the Dallas Mavericks.

Rema‘s song “Fun” now has a music video. Filmed in Benin City, Nigeria, it’s directed by Perliks and finds Rema hosting a party for family and friends, donating sneakers to local kids playing soccer and more.

Taylor Swift appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and discussed several rumors about herself, including the one about her turning down the Super Bowl because she wanted to own the performance footage. According to Taylor, that’s not the reason at all.

Taylor told Fallon that she and Jay-Z, whose company is in charge of the halftime show, have a great relationship, but that they never made her a formal offer. And even if they had, she said, she’d have said no because of her fiancé Travis Kelce

“I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field … The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field,” she explained. “Can you imagine if he’s out there every single week putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be?'”

“This is nothing to do with Travis, he would love for me to do it. I’m just too locked in,” she added.

Taylor also said that when she gave a speech at her BFF Selena Gomez‘s wedding, she didn’t mention her own engagement at all. Instead, she said, she made fun of what they used to wear back in 2008, as well as “how happy I am for her, how it’s been beautiful to get to be a part of her life. But I did not make it about me.”

In addition, Taylor confirmed that her friend Ed Sheeran did indeed learn about her engagement on the Internet, but explained that it’s because he doesn’t have a phone, so when she went through her texts to figure out who to tell, he wasn’t on the list. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, we forgot to call Ed!,'” Taylor laughed. “He’s like family, but he doesn’t own a phone!”

Taylor also discussed her raunchy song “Wood,” saying that at first, she simply wanted to do a throwback-sounding song about superstitions, like knocking on wood. “It really started out in a very innocent place,” she laughed. “I don’t know what happened, man. I got in there, we started vibing, I don’t know how we got here … but I love the song so much!”

Thomas Rhett gave fans a glimpse inside his romance with his wife, Lauren Akins, in his 2015 smash “Die a Happy Man.”

On his latest album, About a Woman, he traces the relationship back to its very beginning. Though TR and Lauren had known each other since childhood, “What Could Go Right” relives the moment he confessed his feelings to her.

“The song is literally about the night that I went over to Lauren’s parents’ house and basically had told her that I’d been in love with her since I was 16,” he explains. “And [I went on to say] I fully understand if this ruins our friendship, but I kinda had to tell you this.”

“And so, the entire night she just kept saying, ‘Well, what if we don’t become friends anymore?’ And what if this and what if that?” he continues. “And I just remember thinking, ‘But what if it all worked? What if it all actually went how I planned this?'”

Fortunately, “What Could Go Right” was a hit with Lauren.

“When I played her that song, she was like, ‘You know, I know you’ve tried to write this song a few times, but I feel like this is the first time that y’all have actually like nailed that night,'” Thomas recalls.

TR and Lauren celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary on Oct. 12.

HUNTR/X may not actually exist, but they’re getting close to matching a chart record set by one of the biggest girl groups of all time.

“Golden,” by the KPop Demon Hunters animated female trio, has notched an eighth week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Only one song by an all-female group has ever spent longer at #1 on that chart: “Independent Women Part 1” by Destiny’s Child, which ruled for 11 weeks starting in November 2000.

Billboard notes that the success of “Golden” could lead to a record of the year nomination at next year’s Grammys, making it the first K-pop hit to be so honored. HUNTR/X would also be the second animated act to land a record of the year nomination, following The Chipmunks, who were nominated in 1959 for their holiday hit “The Chipmunk Song.”

HUNTR/X — that is, the voices behind the group, EJAE [EE-jay], Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami  briefly appeared on the Oct. 4 episode of Saturday Night Live, but they’re set to make their full TV singing debut Tuesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Tate McRae‘s new single, “Tit for Tat,” which fans believe is a diss track aimed at her ex-boyfriend The Kid LAROI, debuts at #3. It’s Tate’s highest-debuting single ever, and she now has two songs in the top five. Her duet with Morgan Wallen, “What I Want,” is at #4.

Tate wrote on her Instagram Story, “my first ever solo top 10 debut. Wow best fans in the world this is insanity holy s***!!!!!!!”

“And yall got [‘Tit for Tat’] to 40 million streams in a week and a half excuuuseeee meee,” she added.

Rod Stewart is ‘halfway through’ a new album

Rod Stewart playing halftime at the Super Bowl? He’s not interested.

Speaking to People, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and soccer fan says the idea of headlining the Super Bowl or World Cup holds no appeal for him because he’s already performed on the only stage that counts.

“I’ve done Glastonbury, so I’m happy,” he said, referring to the U.K.’s most prestigious festival. He performed there in 2002 and last summer.

In fact, Rod says he really doesn’t have any goals for the future. “There’s no bucket list,” he notes. “I’ve done it all.”

But that doesn’t mean he plans to retire. The 80-year-old rocker, who just announced a new batch of Las Vegas residency dates for 2026, said, “I still enjoy what I’m doing. I love it. You can tell: It’s written all over my face.”

And when he’s not performing, he’s in the studio. Rod reveals, “I’m supposed to be doing a country album, and I’m halfway through doing an original album.”

Rod’s last album of original music was 2021’s The Tears of Hercules.
