Ringo Starr‘s post-Beatles solo career is being celebrated with new colored vinyl reissues. The rocker’s first four solo albums are set to be reissued on new limited-edition pressings on Oct. 24.
Reissues include Ringo’s two 1970 releases, the covers album Sentimental Journey on buttermilk yellow vinyl, and the country influenced Beaucoups of Blues on baby blue vinyl.
There’s also 1973’s Ringo, which hit #2 on the Billboard 200 and features classics like “Photograph” and “You’re Sixteen (You’re Beautiful And You’re Mine)” on molten lava vinyl, and 1974’s Goodnight Vienna, another top-10 hit, on psychedelic waves custom color vinyl.
All four reissues are available now for preorder at RingoStarr.com.

And after all, the Oasis reunion tour still has a ways to go.
That’s according to Liam Gallagher, who took to social media in response to a fan wondering why the Oasis song “The Hindu Times” hasn’t been included in the tour’s set list.
“It’s not even HALF TIME yet,” Gallagher writes. “It’s a tour of 2 [halves].”
Of course, Gallagher’s social media proclamations should always be taken with several grains of salt. You may recall when he previously said that Oasis had recorded a new album upon reuniting, only to later clarify that he was joking.
Still, Gallagher did previously tease future Oasis shows outside of social media, telling the audience at London’s Wembley Stadium in September, “See you next year.”
In the meantime, the Oasis reunion tour is set to continue throughout October and November with dates in Asia, Australia and South America. While the formerly estranged Gallagher brothers will be there, guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs will miss the Asia and Australia dates while receiving treatment for prostate cancer.
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band headlined the last ever concert at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The show was the final night of a five-night stand at the venue in his home state. Each show opened with a performance of the then new song “Wrecking Ball,” which he wrote in response to the closing of the stadium. The song would wind up being the title track of his 17th studio album, released in 2011.
In total, Springsteen played 24 shows at the stadium from 1985 to 2009. It was replaced with MetLife Stadium, which opened in May 2011. Springsteen played MetLife for the first time in 2012 on his Wrecking Ball tour.
Ashley Cooke’s “the hell you are” (Big Loud/Back Blocks Music)
It’s been more than a year since Ashley Cooke topped the chart with her breakthrough #1 song, “your place.”
Now she’s releasing “the hell you are” as the follow-up, revealing she’s “been waiting for the right next single and this one feels strong.”
When it came time to shoot the song’s video, she enlisted two of her besties to help her out.
“It was so much fun,” Ashley says. “The music video that we shot for ‘hell you are’ was an absolute blast. I had two of my actual real-life friends be in it. So, Emily and Hailey, we had the best time.”
To bring the song’s message to life, the threesome got the chance to go a little wild.
“My whole idea for the video was to kind of smash all of this guy’s stuff, like ruin all of his stuff,” Ashley explains. “He was supposed to come to a dinner that I made for him and then he bails on the phone and I asked my friends to come over and we ended up just kind of ruining this dinner. There was spaghetti all over the floor.”
Ashley co-wrote “the hell you are,” which she’ll follow with “tin foil hat” on Oct. 17 and “baby blues” on Nov. 14.

Central Cee‘s music career has taken off, but he doesn’t plan to be rapping for too long. In his cover story for Complex, he reiterated his hope to stop rapping in the next three years — a goal he previously expressed in his “Billion Streams Freestyle.”
“I flirted with the idea, then I said it in a song and my manager was like, ‘You’re gonna regret saying that. When you’re rapping over 30, that bar is gonna sound mad!'” Cee recalled. “I said, ‘Nah. I won’t be rapping at 30.'”
Though he respects and is often inspired by Wiz Khalifa‘s grind and work ethic this many years into his career, Cee says he’s “sticking to” his plan to be out of the game by 2028.
He continues, “I’d stay in the business side of things, but actively performing and competing, I’d rather not.”
Central Cee started his career by releasing “Auto-Tuned loosies and boom-bap freestyles,” as per Complex, before transitioning to drill — a move inspired by his younger brother.
“He used to come around and rap in front of me, and was sounding better than me. It made me think, ‘Why am I not rapping like that?'” he explains.
Though he wasn’t originally a fan of drill, Cee says he “started hearing some songs that were hard and some artists who were hard” before making his own drill songs and growing a fanbase.
“It’s only really starting to sink in now,” Cee says of his many milestones, which include a sold-out tour and several Platinum hits.
His end goal, he says, is “for everybody around me to be safe and happy,” adding, “It’s a bonus if I can be happy on top of that as well.”

Myles Smith, who’s been playing stadiums all summer with Ed Sheeran, will be playing a 1200-capacity venue in Austin, Texas, on Oct. 9 as part of White Claw Sessions, a multi-city concert series that pairs established artists with emerging artists.
Myles will be sharing the bill with Abraham Alexander, a Texas-based singer/songwriter and guitarist who received a best original song Oscar nomination for co-writing and singing “Like a Bird,” from the movie Sing Sing. Myles told ABC Audio he partnered with White Claw because he wanted to put his money where his mouth is, after his speech at the BRIT Awards about the importance of grassroots venues to up-and-coming artists.
“After the BRITS, we were super-keen to put some of what I’d spoke about into action and being able to really support emerging artists was, like, top priority,” he said, adding, “And so this opportunity fell into our lap and it aligned with my values and goals precisely.”
“Being able support Abraham Alexander, who’s another Black artist in this space … this is a perfect matchup for me,” he noted.
The “Stargazing” singer’s goal is to “to foster community” and “forward opportunities” for “artists trying to break through,” he told ABC Audio, and he thinks it’s “incredible” that “being able to do the things that I set out to do” has “the support of such a big brand.” (AUDIO IS ABC 1-ON-1)
After the Austin show, Myles has a U.K. festival date in November, and in December, he’ll be playing holiday shows in the U.S. Next year, Myles will be opening for his pal Ed Sheeran once again, this time on Ed’s LOOP North American tour.
Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ (Disney/Randy Holmes)
On Monday, Spiritbox frontwoman Courtney LaPlante released a new song called “Ties That Bind,” recorded for the new video game 2XKO. As it turns out, video game music has long been a part of LaPlante’s life, even if she wasn’t necessarily playing the games.
“I never played Final Fantasy,” LaPlante tells ABC Audio, referring to the iconic RPG series. “But my siblings did, and I would just sit there listening to the music on it.”
LaPlante credits video game music for “introducing people to something more sinister and heavy sometimes, and then that really uplifting but still really technically proficient musicianship.”
The Spiritbox song “Perfect Soul,” off the band’s new album, Tsunami Sea, channels that vibe.
“We call it ‘anime opening credits music,'” LaPlante says of “Perfect Soul.”
Spiritbox will launch a U.S. tour in continued support of Tsunami Sea in November.
Gigi Perez on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ (Disney/Randy Holmes)
Gigi Perez guests on a new version of indie artist Blondshell‘s song “Arms.”
The collaborative track will appear on Another Picture, a companion to Blondshell’s latest album, If You Asked for a Picture.
“Every single artist on the project is someone whose music I’m genuinely a massive fan of so I feel so excited and grateful,” Blondshell says. “I have loved Gigi’s music for years so it’s so special to get to do ‘Arms’ with her.”
Another Picture is due out Nov. 14.
Perez released her debut album, At the Beach, in Every Life, in April. It includes her breakout single, “Sailor Song.”
Gene Simmons on ‘Dancing with the Stars’/(Disney/Eric McCandless)
KISS founder Gene Simmons is doing okay after getting into a car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer updated fans about his condition in a post on X, sharing, “Thanks, everybody, for the kind wishes. I’m completely fine.”
“I had a slight fender bender. It happens,” he added. “Especially to those of us [who] were horrible drivers. And that’s me. All is well.”
According to a statement obtained by ABC News from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched Tuesday after reports of a “traffic collision” on the Pacific Coast Highway, noting a “black Lincoln Navigator struck a parked vehicle.”
“A preliminary investigation revealed the driver, a male adult, might have suffered a medical emergency before the crash,” read the statement. “The male adult was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.”
