KISS drummer and founding member Peter Criss appears to be teasing some news.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, who left KISS in 1980, posted a new black-and-white teaser on YouTube that opens with images of a skyline on a rainy night, and then moves to what appears to be a rundown building with cobwebs on the walls, with crates on the ground that read “Criss.”

As a flash of lightning strikes across the sky, the image of a building that reads “Criss Incorporated” comes into view, with the images of cat eyes in the background, an obvious reference to his KISS Catman persona.

The clip ends with the date “October 31, 2025” on the screen, followed by the logos for two record labels, Flatiron Recordings and Silvercraft Records, Inc.

While Criss didn’t give any other clues as to what he’s teasing, the label logos suggests new music may be on the way. In April he revealed that he was working on a solo album.

If he is indeed teasing a new album, it will be Criss’ first solo album since 2007’s One For All.

Judas Priest brought their North American tour to Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Oct. 23 and received a huge honor from the city.

On Sunday the band shared photos and video on Instagram of them receiving the key to the city, which was given to them by “the Metal Mayor, Tim Keller.”

The caption of the post reads, “Thank you to the mayor, his team, and all the Metal Maniacs of Albuquerque!”

The Albuquerque show was part of the Judas Priest Shield of Pain tour, which wrapped Sunday in Woodlands, Texas.

“That’s a wrap on the SHIELD OF PAIN TOUR!” the band wrote on Instagram. “What an epic ride it’s been — massive thanks to every single Metal Maniac who came out and brought the power every night!  Your energy keeps the Priest machine rolling strong.”

They added, “From start to finish, this tour was pure metal mayhem… and we couldn’t have done it without YOU.
THE PRIEST WILL BE BACK.”

Taylor Swift keeps it 100 at #1 with ‘The Fate of Ophelia’

It seems Taylor Swift‘s “The Fate of Ophelia” won’t suffer the fate of having to depart the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100 anytime soon.

The song tops the Hot 100 for a third week, while its parent album, The Life of a Showgirl, also spends a third week at #1 — and that means another record for Taylor. Billboard reports this is the first time that an artist’s album and song have both debuted at #1 and then both stayed there for three weeks.

The week after the album came out, all 10 songs on the Hot 100 belonged to Taylor. Now, three weeks on, she “only” has four songs in the top 10: “Ophelia,” “Opalite,” “Elizabeth Taylor” and “Father Figure.”

Still, that’s good enough for yet another record. According to Billboard, this is the seventh time in Taylor’s career that she has had a week with at least four songs in the top 10 — more times than any other artist.

Meanwhile, Olivia Dean scores her first U.S. top-10 hit with “Man I Need.” The U.K. singer/songwriter recently told Billboard, “I’ve never been on the charts before, and I’ve been putting out music for quite a long time, so it’s a bit of a new world for me.”

Finally, Leon Thomas‘ song “Mutt” reaches the top 10 after 38 weeks on the chart. While it’s his first top-10 song as a recording artist, he’s been in the top 10 three times previously, due to his writing and producing work on hits by Drake and SZA.

Megan Thee Stallion believes bots are behind the negative comments she receives on social media. She shared her theory in a recent livestream while discussing the criticism for her new single, “Lover Girl.”

“I feel like y’all get so easily riled up and easily discouraged when y’all know people get paid to talk crazy about me. Like, don’t it seem a little weird like how overwhelming a lot of Megan Thee Stallion hate seem? Like, it don’t seem right, do it?” Megan asked.

“It’s not, because people are getting paid to do this. These are bots, these are paid people,” she continued, noting some of the accounts are men who have “been tweeting about sports for eight years.” “Now all of a sudden, he just hate Megan Thee Stallion. These people are getting paid to do this. Stop listening to them. B****, they time up.”

Meg’s comments follow the Friday release of “Lover Girl,” which finds her boasting about the treatment she’s receiving from a new partner. She’s currently dating NBA star Klay Thompson.

Hilary Duff fans who’ve been waiting a decade for new music won’t have to wait too much longer.

Speaking to Variety, the singer and actress says, “I have been hard at work in the studio. … [My fans] are going to hear something so soon, like in the blink of an eye.”

The new music will be Hilary’s first since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. She tells Variety, “I always knew I was going to return to music. I needed to feel safe and I needed to have the right people in my corner and be absolutely 100% ready. Honestly, I needed to have 10 years of life under my belt. I needed a lot to say.”

“This album feels like the inner workings of my brain and I really am so excited to connect with people again on that level, that very forward-facing level,” she adds.

When she announced in September that she’d signed a new record deal, Hilary also revealed that she was filming a docuseries about making her new music. As for what else she might do — like a tour — Hilary said, “All of the things are happening. I can’t give up too much information or everyone’s gonna kill me but … everything’s in motion. It’s exciting.”

A teaser has been released for the upcoming Paul McCartney documentary, Man on the Run.

The film, directed by Morgan Neville, looks at McCartney’s life following the breakup of The Beatles, including the formation of his band Wings.

“The Beatles had broken up and I was thinking, what do I do now?” McCartney says at the opening of the clip. “How can I ever do anything that’s anywhere near as good as The Beatles?”

Set to the Wings tune “Band on the Run,” the rest of the teaser features archival photos and video, including clips of The Beatles, the rocker with his wife and Wings bandmate Linda McCartney, and more.

“I was on my own for the first time. I had to look inside myself, so I put a new band together,” McCartney says in the voice-over. “I thought, we should start from square one. It was a puzzle I had to unravel.”

Man on the Run is set to premiere globally on Prime Video on Feb. 25, 2026.

McCartney is also releasing a new book about his post-Beatles career. Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run will be released Nov. 4.

Kenny Chesney’s ‘Heart Life Music’ (William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers)

After his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Kenny Chesney looked back on his life and career in a new CBS Sunday Morning profile promoting his upcoming book, Heart Life Music.

The piece takes fans inside his residency at Sphere Las Vegas and to some of his favorite spots in Key West, Florida.

“It’s amazing how much there is to say after all the hours we spent working on the book,” Kenny reflects. “But it’s a new way of looking at my music and my life; and I’m really excited to share it with people.”

“For anybody with a dream they don’t quite know how to make happen, this is for you,” he continues. “Because I was that guy, and looking back, I can’t believe everything that’s happened, the friends, the heroes, the dead-ends and breakthroughs. But really, it’s the courage to trust yourself – and use that to connect with people who need the music the same way I did.”

Heart Life Music hits bookstores Nov. 4.
