After his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Kenny Chesney looked back on his life and career in a new CBS Sunday Morning profile promoting his upcoming book, Heart Life Music.

The piece takes fans inside his residency at Sphere Las Vegas and to some of his favorite spots in Key West, Florida.

“It’s amazing how much there is to say after all the hours we spent working on the book,” Kenny reflects. “But it’s a new way of looking at my music and my life; and I’m really excited to share it with people.”

“For anybody with a dream they don’t quite know how to make happen, this is for you,” he continues. “Because I was that guy, and looking back, I can’t believe everything that’s happened, the friends, the heroes, the dead-ends and breakthroughs. But really, it’s the courage to trust yourself – and use that to connect with people who need the music the same way I did.”

Heart Life Music hits bookstores Nov. 4.

Drew Baldridge officially becomes a “Rebel” as his new radio single drops on Friday.

The “She’s Somebody’s Daughter” hitmaker turns the traditional idea of a rebel on its head with the new track.

“I wrote this song after noticing how often the wrong things get glorified,” Drew says. “Doing the right thing can feel rebellious, and I hope fans – and my son – see that being a rebel here is actually a good thing. The song celebrates doing the right thing even when it’s not the ‘cool’ or easy choice.”

Drew’s currently touring Australia and New Zealand with Jelly Roll on the Down Under 2025 Tour.

Peter Frampton is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his iconic live album Frampton Comes Alive! with a special performance.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will be featured in a special episode of the Recorded Live at Analog series, dubbed Frampton Comes Alive 50th, Hits and More, which will be recorded on Nov. 8 at the Analog Hotel in Nashville.

Tickets for the event are on sale now.

Released in January 1976, Frampton Comes Alive! helped launch Frampton to stardom, with the album becoming one of the bestselling live albums of all time. It features live performances of now-iconic Frampton tunes like “Show Me the Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way” and “Do You Feel Like We Do,” which all became top-15 hits.

The album would go on to become Frampton’s only #1 record, spending 10 nonconsecutive weeks in the top spot. In 2020 it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Olivia Rodrigo‘s GUTS era is finally over, and fans have been working overtime to figure out what the singer’s next album will be called, assuming she’ll keep to the “one word with four letters” formula she’s used so far.  Well, Olivia’s seen your theories and she can definitively say that one of them isn’t true.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Olivia says, “I see a bunch of album title theories all the time, which is so fun. The latest one I saw was that it was going to be called CARD, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s a fun idea, but definitely not going to be the case.’”

“But I love seeing people’s theories and them connecting all of these dots,” she adds. “It makes me happy that people care about the album enough to postulate and think about things.” Other fan theories posit that the album will be called KISS, LUCK or BURN.

Asked if she ever sees ideas online that she likes enough to actually consider using, she says, “I totally do! People are so smart, and sometimes, I see something and I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s a really great idea.’ You guys are so creative. We should hire some of these girls on TikTok — they’re amazing.”

Cosmo also asked Liv what relationship advice she’d give to her younger self.

“I would’ve told 17-year-old me … that you really have to be yourself from the very beginning of the relationship,” she shares. “Back in the day, me and my friends would tailor our personalities to whatever person we liked at the time.”

“It just never works out — it leaves everyone feeling confused and sad,” she advises. “Be wholly, entirely yourself, even if you think it’s a little cringe. The right person won’t think it’s cringe.”

Late former Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds recorded an unreleased solo album before his death, according to his former bandmate Duane Trucks.

Trucks, who played in the band Fiend Without a Face with Hinds, tells Metal Hammer, “Brent’s got an entire album that hasn’t seen the light of day.”

“He sent me the whole album of tunes and it’s cool as s***,” Trucks says.

Hinds, a founding member of Mastodon, parted ways with the group in March. He died at age 51 in a motorcycle accident that occurred in August.

“You rarely meet someone with so many facets who does things in such an honest, vulnerable way,” Trucks says of Hinds. “He really f****** meant what he was playing. It was not a put-on. He wasn’t just doing this for a cheque.”
