In 2022, Bebe Rexha and her friend David Guetta scored a worldwide hit with “I’m Good (Blue).” It’s earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Recording. So, will 2023 find Bebe continuing the dance music vibe? Well, sort of.

“It’s funny because I started working on an album that has a completely different sound,” she told ABC Audio late last year. “It has dance elements in it, but it’s a little bit of a different departure from where ‘I’m Good’ is at, completely. But it does have somewhat of dance elements to it, which is good.”

Bebe said the project was near completion, but that she wouldn’t release it until the new year. Other than that, Bebe said she didn’t necessarily have any major plans for this year — at least, none that she shared.

“I just keep doing what I’ve always been doing, which is constantly writing, staying in the studio, try to mind my business, live my life, enjoy my dog … and just writing,” Bebe said. “Honestly, I just do what I love.”

Bebe and David will find out on February 5 if they’ve won the Grammy. This Bebe’s third nomination, but she has yet to win. So far, David’s been nominated 11 times and won twice.

In November, KISS‘ Gene Simmons told Page Six that the band had added “another 100 cities” to their End of the Road farewell tour and also claimed to know “the last day and date” of the tour, which has been ongoing since 2019. Well, all that is news to KISS’ Paul Stanley, who tells ABC Audio that both of Gene’s assertions are false.

“I love Gene to death. He’s my brother. We’ve been together forever,” Stanley said when asked about Simmons’ comments. “[But] if you put a microphone in front of him or a camera, there’s no telling what he’s going to say. Do we know the date of the last show? No. Are we adding 100 shows? Um, I don’t plan on being there.”

Paul does acknowledge, however, that the End of the Road has gone on longer than he expected due to fan demand and will be continuing. He also reveals that he knows where it will end, if not when.

“There is an end. And certainly I can say the end will be New York City, where it began,” Stanley notes. “[This is] the end of the road, yes, but they keep paving the road!”

He adds, “We’re going further … [but] to say we booked 100 shows or we know the exact date … Gene and I tend to know what the lay of the land is, and at this point, I’m scratching my head. Because I was like, “Really? Tell me!”

Currently, the End of the Road tour is set to resume April 15 at the Monsters of Rock Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, and is mapped out through a July 15 show in Norway.

Saved by the Bell‘s Mario Lopez taught Kelly Clarkson a jiujitsu move called the “rear naked choke” on her daytime talk show. Kelly’s “abnormally short arms” made it really difficult for her to put Mario in that chokehold, but she got it in the end. Mario joked that she now knows how to put difficult people to sleep.

If you missed seeing Joe Jonas in theaters for Devotion, you can change that on Sunday. The Korean War drama will be available to own or stream via Paramount+ on January 8. There’s a perk to buying the movie — it’ll come with never-before-seen bonus content. Joe starred as aviator Marty “Skip” Goode in the film.

Gwen Stefani and the Black Crowes are heading to Redondo Beach, California, in May to headline the 2023 BeachLife Festival. The festival, which bills itself as the biggest beach party in Los Angeles, runs May 5 through May 7. Tickets are available now on the event’s official website.

A new song from Sam Smith is on the way — “Gimme,” which also features artists Jessie Reyez and Koffee. Sam said the single drops Wednesday, January 11. Their album Gloria arrives January 27.

Charli XCX is recovering from getting her wisdom teeth removed. She tweeted a photo of her in a hospital bed with gauze shoved in her mouth. “All my wisdom has gone. dumb and inexplicable decisions only from now on,” she captioned it.

“We loved our game days up in Scotland together,” he added. “Now he joins Brother Don, rest in peace boys. Two of my best mates gone within just a few months.”

Rod, 77, is the youngest of five siblings. His two sisters, Peggy and Mary, are still with us. Rod turns 78 on Tuesday.

After going through a devastating pregnancy loss in 2021, Jessie J revealed she is about to become a mom.

The singer shared the good news on Instagram with a video montage of various ultrasounds and belly shots. “I am so happy and terrified to finally share this… Please be gentle with me,” her post began.

The slideshow, which begins with a video of a positive pregnancy test, is soundtracked to Jessie’s song “Sunflower.” The montage shares tender moments marking Jessie’s pregnancy, including caressing her growing stomach, and snapshots of the child’s tiny feet and facial expressions taken during sonograms.

She closed the post by writing, “Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked.”

Jessie did not reveal when the child is due, whether she’s chosen a name or if she is welcoming a daughter or son.

In November 2021, the British singer revealed in a since-deleted post that she’d had a miscarriage. Since then, she has stayed open about her healing journey, saying she wants to help others who may have been in her shoes feel less alone.

Understandably, Jessie’s friends and fans are celebrating this happy news. Well wishers include Glee star Amber Riley, singer Kelly Rowland and actress Lashana Lynch.
