Céline Dion fans were outraged that Rolling Stone omitted the Canadian superstar from its new list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time. But instead of just complaining about it on social media, some die-hard Céline-iacs have decided to take their outrage to the next level.

On Friday, a group of Montreal-based Céline fans known as The Red Heads organized a protest outside the New York City offices of Rolling Stone, and their actions were documented and shared online. Footage posted on The Red Heads’ Facebook page show the fans waving signs with messages like “The Power of Celine,” “How Can You Forget Celine?” “Celine is #1” and “We Want a Recount.”

According to Variety, the fans, who’d driven the six hours from Montreal for the protest, chanted, “Justice for Celine” while blasting her hit “That’s the Way It Is” on a portable speaker. Another sign, referring to Celine’s hit song for the movie Titanic, read, “Rolling Stone you’ve hit an iceberg.”

Red Heads president Line Basbous, who helped organize the protest, told Variety, “The list is completely illegitimate. We wanted to support her and make sure that Rolling Stone hears the voice of the fans. The list is ridiculous.”

Rolling Stone‘s response was to cover the protest on its online front page and suggest that the entire thing “was an organized stunt.”

What’s certain is that the protesters are self-aware. On January 3, Basbous told The Journal de Quebec that she was “very amused” by the response to the list. She added, “We love it when Céline is talked about … we are very proud of the reactions, the popular uprising and the backlash.”

Despite the disastrous presale ticketing fiasco, Taylor Swift is plowing full steam ahead on her Eras Tour.

The singer confirmed she is rehearsing for her sold-out tour via her Instagram Story. “It’s me! Hi!” she began the announcement, a reference to her song “Anti-Hero,” and continued, “I’m taking a break from tour rehearsal to tell you … there are 4 hours left to get these four new Midnights Digital Albums.”

The 24-hour album sale has since ended, but her fans are freaking out over the first part of the post. Those who were fortunate enough to score tickets took to social media to express their excitement over the fast-approaching tour.

The Eras Tour is Taylor’s first in over five years, following her Reputation-era global trek, and it kicks off March 17 in Glendale, Arizona.

In other Swift news, her “Bejeweled” music video co-star Laura Dern shared a hilarious story about being mobbed by a Swiftie while standing in front of a Jurassic Park sign.

Dern played Dr. Ellie Sattler in the franchise and returned for the 2022 movie Jurassic World Dominion.

Dern told Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she was vacationing in Hawaii when a fan clocked her by the sign and she braced herself to talk dinosaurs. But then the fan exclaimed, “Oh my God! Oh my God! … Aren’t you the girl in the Taylor Swift video?'”

Dern posed for a photo in front of the sign, but hinted the Swiftie might have been too excited to realize she was more than just Taylor’s evil stepmother.

As for her time working on the music video, said Dern, “I had the time of my life.”

How well do Thomas Rhett and Russell Dickerson know their longtime friend Tyler Hubbard? Well, you’ll find some of the answers in Tyler’s new track “Me for Me.”

“We weren’t even planning on writing that day but it just kinda happened,” Tyler explains on social media. “It quickly became one of my favorite songs on the album. We know each other so well that I think this song could have only been written with these two.”

In the accompanying picture, all three are hamming it with their wives, complete with funny glasses, hats, and an inflatable guitar and flamingo. The photo’s reminiscent of others taken during the couples’ longstanding tradition of going caroling in costume during the holidays.

You can also check out the new unofficial video for “Me for Me,” which is the latest track from Tyler’s self-titled full-length debut, which arrives January 27. The record also includes his first solo #1, “5 Foot 9,” as well as his new single “Dancin’ in the Country.”

Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” used to confirm a new season of ‘Wednesday’

Wednesday Addams’ story will continue in a brand new season of Wednesday and Lady Gaga played a role in the big announcement.

Netflix unleashed a teaser for the upcoming second season, which is soundtracked to none other than Gaga’s “Bloody Mary.”

The song blew up on TikTok last year following star Jenna Ortega‘s viral dance scene that influencers tried recreating on TikTok. While Ortega flailed to The Cramps‘ 1981 song “Goo Goo Muck” in the series, TikTokers chose to soundtrack their interpretation of the dance to a sped-up version of Gaga’s 2011 song.

The teaser trailer references the viral trend, with Ortega narrating, “Over the past few weeks, I’ve been hunted, haunted, and mimicked millions of times across the Internet. It’s been pure torture. Thank you.”

Gaga’s sped-up “Bloody Mary” then begins playing as Netflix confirms, “More misery is coming. The global phenomenon will return for season two.”

Fans are hoping this nod to Gaga means she will play some role in the next chapter.

Gaga has come out as a fan of the show by partaking in the viral “Wednesday dance” trend. She also praised the show on Twitter, writing, “Slay Wednesday! You’re welcome at Haus of Gaga anytime (and bring Thing with you, we love paws around here).”

It is unknown when the next season of Wednesday will hit the streaming giant.

Rob Halford is celebrating 37 of years of sobriety, and he marked the occasion with an inspirational post to social media.

Noting that the key to his sobriety is to take things “one day at a time,” the Judas Priest frontman holds up a coin representing the amount of time he’s been sober and shares, “When I look at this commemorative coin, I’m full of love for my higher power and grateful to you because having you in my life helps me maintain my focus making the best I can in all areas of metal as well as trying to be a better person by taking a daily inventory.”

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer adds, “I believe we never stop growing and searching to find ways to do anything that improves not only our lives, but also for all those we love. None of this is easy and it wasn’t meant to be. We constantly have to work and dig deep into every aspect of ourselves to stay clean and sober.”

Halford then offers some supportive words for “those of you on this same journey,” sending them his “unconditional love.” He adds, “And to those of you who are about to begin, please take that first step into your new life. I love you.”

SZA says her album, ‘SOS,’ is about “coming to terms with all the different parts of me”

SZA says her album, ‘SOS,’ is about “coming to terms with all the different parts of me”
Daniel Sannwald

(NOTE LANGUAGE) SZA is fully embracing who she is, even if that means she’s not very nice at times. That acceptance, she says, is reflected in her latest project, SOS, which sees her “coming to terms with all the different parts of me.”

“Right now I’m just entering my era where I am accepting that I might be a b****, and that’s OK,” SZA tells People. “Not all the time, but I’m not a bubblegum sweetheart and that’s OK. I’m OK with also being the villain, I’m OK with speaking my mind and just being who God designed me to be.”

“I can’t be sad just ’cause I’m not a sweetheart,” SZA continues when explaining her path to self-acceptance. “I feel like I’m multifaceted, I can be really sweet, I can be really vengeful, I can be violent, I can be nurturing and all these things.”

SZA’s SOS dropped last month and has since been dominating the Billboard 200. It’s also making a mark in the United Kingdom, as it became the #1 trending song in the country, People reports.

The album features 23 songs, including “Good Days,” which she intentionally placed before the final song, “Forgiveness.” Explaining her decision, she says, “‘Good Days’ is gentle and hopeful and all these things, but the truth is life is arresting and it’s not going to end how we want. And a lot of sh** that’s been done to me, or that’s happened in general, I may move on and accept things, but I’ll never forget.”

SZA continued, “It’ll always be f*** you in a special place in my mind. So it’s that. It’s like, ‘Yeah, we can move forward and believe in good days and all that, but don’t forget. Don’t forget it’s still f*** you.'”
