Alyssa Milano revealed that she and Shannen Dohertyhave buried the hatchet following their decades-long feud.
When asked if she and Doherty are now on good terms, the Charmed alum toldEntertainment Tonight, “I would say we are cordial.”
“I could take responsibility for a lot of our tension that we had,” Milano continued, noting that their relationship started to suffer when they both starred on the supernatural drama. “I think a lot of our struggle came from feeling that I was in competition rather than it being that sisterhood that the show was so much about. And I have some guilt about my part in that.”
As for how the two mended fences, Milano said it began in 2015 when Doherty first announced her battle with breast cancer.
“When I heard about her diagnosis, I reached out to her,” the Insatiable star recalled, and the two started communicating again. “I will send her DMs every couple of months to just check in.”
Milano, who recently released her memoir Sorry Not Sorry, regrets that she missed out on friendship with Doherty and admitted, “I have respect for her. Great actress, loves her family so much, and I just wish I could’ve felt strong enough in who I was to recognize that back then.”
Doherty starred alongside Milano for three seasons on Charmed, before exiting the series in 2001. She was replaced by Rose McGowan.
Charmed ran on the WB, now the CW, from 1998 to 2006 for eight seasons.
Bill Hader was close to shooting the upcoming third season of his Emmy winning HBO series Barry last year when the pandemic shut the production down.
With the show’s filming back underway, and with about a month to go until they’re wrapped, Hader told ABC Audio what it was like to return to shooting after the forced hiatus as star, director, writer and producer.
“Yeah, at first, we were like, ‘Wait, what do we do?’ he said with a laugh. ‘I don’t know, how do I do this?’.
He recalled, “how exhausted I was. You know, just after midway through the first day and it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I haven’t walked this much…I haven’t stood this much like a year and a half,” the SNL vet laughed.
That said, Hader says he feels “so lucky” to be working with fellow Emmy winner Henry Winkler and the other “phenomenal actors” in the cast.
Hader even joked he asked if he could shoot Barry “from my closet,” like he did when voicing his role as mad scientist Cyrus Strange in the animated Addams Family 2.
A fan of the Barry SonnenfeldAddams Family movies in the ’90s, he thinks the new movie is a blast. “I mean, I think it’s a fun thing to see in a theater just because, you know, as a parent, it’s hard finding those things where you…can all go and see a movie where you actually are also enjoying it.”
He adds, “I’ve done that too, where you take your kids to the theater and you see something and you’re like, ‘Oh God, I have to sit through this.’ And this is actually really fun, from top to bottom.”

In a press conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico, investigators addressed the latest news concerning the fatal Rust set shooting.
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendozaconfirmed that “it was a bullet” that struck and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza, not a mishap with a blank round.
Sheriff Mendoza stated that a bullet from a .45 Long Colt was recovered from the shoulder of Souza; that was believed to be the same round that fatally struck Hutchins, but it needs to be forensically confirmed.
That projectile was removed from Souza by doctors, and handed over to investigators for analysis, he explained.
Mendoza also mentioned “approximately 500 rounds of ammunition” were recovered from the New Mexico set, including, “a mix of blanks, dummy roundsand what we are suspecting were live rounds.”
Blank rounds contain no lead bullet, but emit a muzzle flash when fired, and can still be harmful without proper precautions.
Dummy rounds are just empty cartridges that are meant to look like functioning bullets.
Live rounds are actual bullets — and have no place on a movie set.
The District Attorney on the case, Mary Carmack Altwies, told journalists that while it’s too early in the investigation to say, charges against Alec Baldwin have not been ruled out.
“If the facts and evidence and law support charges, then I will initiate charges at that time,” she said of anyone involved.
Investigators have already spoken to Baldwin, as well as the movie’s armorer Hannah Gutierrez, as well as the movie’s assistant director Dave Halls, who handed the pistol to Baldwin, after declaring it a “cold” — that is an empty — gun.
Baldwin not only fired the fatal shot, but he was also a producer on the Western.
The People’s Choice Awards will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and air on NBC and E! on Dec. 7 at 9:00 pm Eastern time.

Ahead of the season two finale of Wu-Tang: An American Saga, series creators RZA and Alex Tse are explaining how they stayed true to the real-life narrative of the pioneering hip hop group.
Founding Wu-Tang Clan member RZA tells ABC Audio that his focus for the critically acclaimed drama was to make sure it resonated with actual hip hop fans.
“Because every one of the Wu-Tang members have something…they attract…for different people for different reasons,” he explains. “And if we can get the nucleus of it…that alone can help tell their story.”
While RZA says season two didn’t capture “every detail” in the making of 36 Chambers — arguably one of the most influential hip hop albums of the 1990s — he, like his co-creator Tse, believes this season was “spiritually truthful… to the story.”
“There are things that actually happen. There are things that happen in a different version. And then there’s some stuff that we condensed and changed,” Tse explains. “But…then we have to examine and say, ‘Is this spiritually truthful? Are we honoring what these people meant to…not just hip hop culture, but to American culture too?’…So that’s the question we always want to ask ourselves when we make choices in the writers room.'”
As season two comes to a close, Hulu is giving fans another opportunity to experience a piece of hip hop culture. The network has partnered with famed streetwear brand Mitchell & Ness to launch a capsule collection inspired by the Emmy-nominated series. The new collection, which includes items like tanks, tees, hoodies, and caps, is now available in select stores and on the Extra Butter NY website.

With the help of voice star Chris Evans, Good Morning America exclusively debuted the sneak peek of the action-adventure film, which Pixar describes as “the definitive story of the original Buzz Lightyear.”
In the Angus MacLane-directed project, which arrives in theaters on June 17, 2022, Evans voices the action hero that became the toy voiced by Tim Allen in the Toy Story films.
Pixar’s Pete Docter previously shared, “[B]ack when we created the very first Toy Story, we designed Buzz Lightyear with the idea that he was a toy based on some really cool character from an epic, blockbuster film. Well, all these years later, we decided it’s time to make that film.”
MacLane, a longtime Pixar employee who co-directed Finding Dory, tells GMA the film will be both serious and funny, “but not goofy.”
“Say The Incredibles, where it is humorous, but you’re never feeling like the characters are mocking their concern for their own safety — it is a world of stakes and peril and death,” MacLane explained. “And so this is a film where we find out about Buzz Lightyear and the origins of the Space Rangers…It’s a film that celebrates that feeling you would get watching the sci-fi movies of the late ’70s and early ’80s.”
MacLane said Captain America himself, Evans, was a “tremendous creative partner” and the perfect choice to voice the “real life” hero.
“[Buzz] says really, really goofy things really, really seriously and takes the job very seriously, and so for me, there were very few actors that could pull off an earnestness and…the comedy of that.”
While no criminal charges have been filed in the October 21 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Alec Baldwin film Rust, authorities say charges can’t yet be “ruled out.”
That’s the word to The New York Post from Juan Rios, the public information officer for the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office. “[H]onestly if people have information, they need to bring it to us…so we can check into that,” Rios said.
Given the number of witnesses, Rios added that the investigation into the incident last Thursday, during which Baldwin fired a live round toward the camera, fatally striking Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza, will be “going on for a while.”
“We need to be diligent…should there be charges ultimately filed that they are able to uphold those in court,” said Rios.
Baldwin and assistant director Dave Halls reportedly told investigators they didn’t know the revolver Baldwin fired contained a live round.
Meanwhile, the film’s gaffer, or set electrician, Serge Sventoy, took to Instagram to post what he said was among the last photos of Hutchins alive — inside the church where the crew was setting up the scene prior to the fatal shot. Sventoy said he was standing “shoulder-to-shoulder” with Hutchins when the shot rang out.
“I was holding in her my arms when she was dying,” he said, adding that the accident was “the fault of negligence and unprofessionalism.”
“The negligence from the person who was supposed to check the weapon…did not do this,” said Svetnoy. “The person who had to announce the loaded weapon was on the site did not do this.”
Hannah Gutierrez Reed was the armorer on the Rust set. Dave Halls is said to have announced that the gun apparently containing a live round was “cold,” meaning safe, before handing it to Baldwin.
“And the DEATH OF THE HUMAN IS THE RESULT!” Svetnoy said.
Meanwhile, ABC News has learned that Rust producers have hired their own legal team to conduct a separate investigation into the events and circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting. The film’s cast and crew were notified of the news Tuesday night in a note that declares, in part, “We know that reliving this tragedy will be hard, but your participation is important for all of us to be able to fully understand what happened, and we encourage you to share your perspective.”

Gwyneth Paltrow shared a little-known story about giving birth to her daughter Apple and revealed she “almost died” during the difficult delivery.
Speaking on Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert podcast, the Oscar winner opened up about the traumatic labor, which she said lasted 70 hours.
“I had two caesareans. My daughter was an emergency,” said Paltrow, 49. “It was crazy, we almost died. It was like not good.”
The Iron Man star declined to go into details over the complications she suffered and instead reflected on how the pregnancy physically changed her.
“Anyway, there’s a big scar across your body, and you’re like, ‘Oh, wow, that didn’t use to be there,'” Paltrow remarked. “And it’s not that it’s bad, or you want to judge it, but you’re just like, ‘Oh, my God.'”
The actress said she is thankful she became pregnant before the rise of social media and reflected on how the internet pressures new moms to snap back into shape.
Said the mom of two, “Thank God there wasn’t Instagram when I had babies because now it’s like — if I see someone, ‘Oh, I just gave birth two weeks ago and I have a completely washboard stomach,’ and I’m like, ‘Wow that’s not what I [had!]'”
Paltrow, who attested she was not shaming other women or their bodies, expressed concern that this mentality is pitting moms against each other by making birth an unnecessary competition.
“It’s past perfectionism,” she remarked. “It’s like, ‘I can do this gargantuan task that’s superhuman’… And why? For what?”
Paltrow shares Apple, who is 17, and 15-year-old Moses with ex-husband Chris Martin.
Teyana Taylor is celebrating her husband, Iman Shumpert, and his Dancing with the Stars partner, Daniella Karagach, achieving a perfect score Monday on the TV dance competition. The “Gonna Love Me” singer remains on the East Coast while her hubby competes in LA, and she says there are some benefits to be being briefly separated.
“I think once you see one another, that I miss you sex is the best, so I think that is the spark, like, not being up on each other all day,” the singer/actress/fashion designer tells Us Weekly.
“It’s just like you are admiring one another, like, ‘Damn, you’re doing your thing,'” she adds. “Let me be doing this for our kids, so when we see each other, it’s nothing but love and just comfort and spice.”
Teyana is now preparing for her 12-city farewell tour, which kicks off November 7 in San Francisco. In addition, she’s working as the creative director of the fashion company PrettyLittleThing, while also taking care of their children, daughters Iman Jr., 5, and Rue, 13 months.
The 30-year-old entertainer is very proud to see her NBA star husband excelling with Karagach outside of his basketball comfort zone.
“I honestly think that their chemistry is amazing,” Taylor explains. “I think that Daniella is an amazing choreographer. I’m a dancer, so I appreciate what she do and then she kills it.”
After five years of marriage, the MTV VMA winner says she’s not jealous of seeing her husband dancing with another woman.
“I’m too secure in my s*** to be worrying about that,” the Coming 2 America star says. “I think that’s the part that we love about each other the most, because we do our job and we literally keep it pushing.”
The Bachelorette continued Tuesday with Michelle Young trying to find the culprit who’s been spreading rumors about her and one of her potential suitors.
Michelle was clued into the drama following her first on-on-one date with Jamie, where the two shared a rock-climbing adventure. Jamie took their relationship to new heights by opening up about the heartbreaking story of his mother, who struggled with mental health issues and died by suicide when he was 24-years-old. Jamie said he struggled with a years-long battle with severe depression because of the tragedy.
Michelle pinned the date rose on Jamie and told him that she was “beyond impressed” with the “beautiful person” he’d become.
Unfortunately, Jamie demonstrated an uglier side of himself heading into the rose ceremony and addressed a rumor he overheard concerning Michelle and Joe — who hails from her home state of Minnesota and received a group date rose — dating each other prior to appearing on the show.
The other suitors appeared unfazed by the gossip, but Jamie felt the need to confront Michelle about the alleged relationship. However, he claimed it was the other suitors — and not him — who were up in arms.
Michelle then confessed to the group that she and Joe “exchanged a few messages quite a few years back,” but the real estate broker “ghosted” her and “that was that.” That speech left the group wondering who confronted Michelle behind their backs.
At the rose ceremony, Alec, Daniel, Pardeep and PJ were sent home.
