Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of music legend Elvis Presley and his then-wife Priscilla, has diedABC News confirms. She was 54.

Earlier on Thursday, Priscilla confirmed her daughter had been rushed to the hospital. TMZ reported first responders answered a 911 call about a possible cardiac arrest at her Calabasas, California, home and that CPR was given to Presley to restore her pulse.

As the only daughter of Elvis, Lisa Marie grew up in the spotlight, but her personal life kept her there: She was married four times, including her infamous marriage to Michael Jackson in 1994. Their relationship, which many griped was only for publicity, ended in less than two years.

In 1988, she married musician Danny Keough, and had twins Riley and Benjamin with him; Benjamin took his own life in July 2020. Riley Keough is a successful actress, appearing in such projects as The Girlfriend Experience and Zola.

Geena Davis recalls “literally shaking” after alleged on-set bullying from Bill Murray

Geena Davis recalls “literally shaking” after alleged on-set bullying from Bill Murray
Good Morning America

(NOTE LANGUAGE) As reported last October, Oscar winner Geena Davis detailed in her memoir Dying of Politeness the harassment she allegedly experienced from her Quick Change co-star Bill Murray.

In a new installment of the On With Kara Swisher podcast, Davis reiterated the claims, recalling Murray’s insistence that he try a body massager on her.

“I’m like, ‘No, no, no thank you,’ and he keeps at it,” Davis recalled. “And I keep saying ‘No’ to the point where I would’ve had to scream at him, ‘Stop f***ing asking me! I am not doing it. Do you understand?'” But she contends she was “far too timid” to actually do it.

Davis also recalled to the podcast host the time Murray reportedly berated her when a wardrobe issue made her late to the outdoor New York City set. “Bill Murray — in a full clown costume, by the way — slams into the trailer with rage coming out of his eyeballs, and starts screaming at me and swearing at me, ‘Get the f*** out there! What the f*** are you doing? Move! Move!'”

She adds, “He screamed in my ear, ‘Move! Move faster! Move it!’ And we’re getting to this intersection where there’s hundreds of people watching this.”

Davis remembered “literally shaking” because of the outburst, noting to Swisher it still makes her very emotional to talk about it because she “felt so ashamed.”

Last year, production on a movie called Being Mortal hit the skids when an investigation was launched into alleged harassing behavior from Murray, who later reached a six-figure settlement for allegedly straddling a female crew member on set.

Others who have accused him of bad behavior include his Charlie’s Angels co-star Lucy Liu and Seth Green.

Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of music legend Elvis Presley and his then-wife Priscilla, is in a Los Angeles hospital after suffering what TMZ is reporting is cardiac arrest.

The gossip site says first responders answered a 911 call on Thursday about a possible cardiac arrest at the 54-year-old’s Calabasas, California, home. CPR was given to Presley to restore her pulse, and she was then rushed to a hospital.

Presley was seen in public with her mother on Tuesday evening at the Golden Globes, where Austin Butler picked up a trophy for portraying her late father in Elvis.

Backstage, Butler said the win was particularly sweet because Priscilla and Lisa Marie were there, and that he was grateful they had “welcomed him into their family in such a beautiful way.”

He added, “And I just feel so endlessly grateful to them that they provided this space for me to somehow try to capture the essence of this man that that means so much to them and that they love so much.”

Florence Pugh talks love and relationships in Hollywood

In an extensive cover story about her life and career, Florence Pugh weighed in to Vogue on the public’s apparent fascination with her now-ended romantic relationship with Zach Braff.

The pair first met when the former Scrubs star and Garden State director cast her in a short film he made; they later became romantically involved. In the three years they were together, many online sniped about the 21-year age difference between the Black Widow star, now 27, and Braff, who will be 48 in April.

“We weren’t in anyone’s faces,” Pugh expressed of their relationship. “It was just that people didn’t like it.”

Florence noted, “They imagined me with someone younger and someone in blockbusters. I think young relationships in Hollywood are so easily twisted because they add to the gossip sites. It’s exciting to watch. And I think I was in a relationship that didn’t do any of that.”

In August of last year, Pugh confirmed to Harper’s BAZAAR that they had split. “We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on,” she said at the time. “We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together. So we’ve done that.”

There are apparently no hard feelings between the pair, with Braff saying of the star of his upcoming film A Good Person, “I quite simply think she’s one of the greatest actors of her generation. She’s just magnetic.”

Newly minted Golden Globe winner Ke Huy Quan is reportedly going from one multiverse-spanning adventure to another. The former child star-turned-Everything Everywhere All at Once star is joining the second season of Loki, according to the actor on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.

Quan, 51, explained how career opportunities dried up after appearing in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies.

In the late ’90s, the martial artist and actor eventually found a mentor in legendary fight choreographer Corey Yuen (X-Men) and famed director Wong Kar-wai.

But seeing Crazy Rich Asians inspired Quan to try his hand at acting again, he explained; more rejection followed, until he got his second chance with Everything Everywhere.

However, when the movie paused for the pandemic, his phone stopped ringing. The actor says on the podcast that he called the film’s producer and asked, insecure, “You’ve seen the movie … am I any good in it? … Nobody wants to hire me!”

Jonathan Wong reportedly responded, “Ke: You just wait.”

Quan continues, “And sure enough, when the movie came out in March [of 2022], my entire life changed.”

He adds, “The first phone call I got was from [Marvel Studios President] Kevin Feige, who graciously asked me if I wanted to join the MCU.”

A fan of Loki, Ke called star Tom Hiddleston “one of the kindest, [most] generous, most talented actors I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with,” saying of season 2, “I had the most amazing time.”

The “grateful” actor followed that with an appearance opposite Chris Pratt in Avengers: Endgame and in directors Joe and Anthony Russo‘s sci-fi film The Electric State.

Felicity Huffman is headed back to TV for her first role since serving prison time in 2019 in connection with a widely publicized college admissions scandal.

ABC announced Wednesday that the Desperate Housewives alumna is set to star alongside Nancy Drew actress Kennedy McMann in an embedded pilot episode of The Good Doctor for a potential spinoff called The Good Lawyer.

In the episode, airing March 6, Freddie Highmore‘s Dr. Shaun Murphy “seeks legal representation to help him win a case and puts his faith in a promising, young lawyer who has obsessive compulsive disorder,” McMann’s Joni DeGroot.

Joni is described as a “brilliant, funny and self-aware lawyer who is relatively new to her prestigious law firm when she takes Shaun’s case. Living with OCD, Joni has never wanted to be treated differently. While her symptoms take a toll on her personal and professional life, her attention to detail allows her to see cases through a different lens.”

Huffman’s character, Janet Stewart, is “a highly regarded attorney and partner at [Joni’s] law firm” and has “a fierce intellect and dry wit.” Janet has represented Richard Schiff‘s Dr. Aaron Glassman, “so he turns to her to represent his beloved protégé. But when Shaun declares that he wants Joni to represent him, Janet is forced to let Joni take lead on the case.”

Huffman, 60, served 11 days of a 14-day prison sentence in October 2019 after pleading guilty to charges stemming from the massive “Varsity Blues” college admissions scandal in May 2019.

Huffman completed the final phase of her punishment, a year of supervised release, in October 2020. In addition to prison time and supervised release, she was ordered to pay a $30,000 fine and serve 250 hours of community service.
