Kevin Hart takes out billboards with Nick Cannon’s phone number in epic birthday prank get-back

ABC/Randy Holmes

(NOTE LANGUAGE) If you have Nick Cannon‘s number, you might need an update — because millions of people now do, too, thanks to Kevin Hart

Hart just posted to Instagram proof that he put the dad of seven’s digits on billboards in Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta.

“For any advice on fatherhood, call my best friend Nick Cannon,” reads the post, which also shows a photo of a disappointed looking Hart with a llama.

“Since my brother @nickcannon decided to buy me a llama for my B Day I decided to do something nice for him as well,” Hart posted. “I’m sure his phone has been ringing nonstop,” he posted, with six “crying laughing” emoji.

Hart added, “GOTCHA BACK B**** #PRANKWARS.”

Long story short: don’t ever prank Kevin Hart.

The Masked Singer host Cannon and model Alyssa Scott welcomed a baby boy named Zen earlier this month. The newborn marks the fourth child the 40-year-old has welcomed in under a year.

Besides baby Zen, Cannon also recently welcomed twin boys with Abby De La Rosa and also became the parent of a baby girl with Brittany Bell in December 2020. Cannon and Bell also share a three-year-old son.  Cannon shares 10-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

Archival Glen Campbell live album will revisit late star’s 2008 performance at famous Troubadour club

Surfdog Records/Big Machine Records

Back in August of 2008, Glen Campbell took the stage at the famed West Hollywood, California, venue the Troubadour, the stage known for career-transforming performances from rockers, country stars, comedians and more since its opening in the late 1950s.

Campbell’s 14-song set at that show featured many of the crossover star’s enduring hits, including “Galveston,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Gentle on My Mind” and “Rhinestone Cowboy.”

Now, more than a decade after that concert took place, fans can revisit the late singer’s performance with a new live album called Glen Campbell: Live from the Troubadour. The collection arrives this Friday, July 23.

An Arkansas native who toed the line between country and pop stardom while also enjoying a storied acting career, Glen died in 2017 at the age of 81 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He announced in 2011 that he’d been diagnosed with the disease. That same year, he was the subject of a documentary titled Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, which chronicled his last years on the road as he grappled with how his illness affected his abilities as a performer.

Blues general manager: forward Vladimir Tarasenko may not be traded

Tom Pennington/Getty Images

(ST. LOUIS) — St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong told reporters on a conference call that forward Vladimir Tarasenko could still be on the team next season.

After the regular ended, Tarasenko’s agent Paul Theofanous called Armstrong and said his client wanted a trade. Because Tarasenko has a full no-trade clause, they gave Armstrong a list of teams he would accept a trade to.

“I informed all the teams that Vladi had requested a trade, that there was a list of teams he would prefer to go to,” said Armstrong. “But if anyone has any ideas or thoughts, I would work with them and take something to Vladi, and he would have the 100% opportunity to accept or reject that concept,.”

Ahead of the Seattle Kraken expansion draft, the team exposed Tarasenko, knowing it would give the forward a fresh start and it would alleviate salary cap space for St. Louis.

The Kraken chose defenseman Vince Dunn.

Armstrong was asked whether he envisions Tarasenko being on the team come opening night.

“There’s many players in the NHL that have requested trades,” said Armstrong. “You always try to keep it below the surface, but our responsibility is to do what’s best for the St. Louis Blues, and if that means he comes back and plays for us, then that’s the outlook that it has.”

Tarasenko has played in just 34 games over the past two seasons because of a dislocated left shoulder and two surgeries. Armstrong conceded that might be a reason why a trade has not happened.

“We’re dealing with a player that’s coming off an injury, too, which I’m sure affects the way other teams view it and what risks they’re willing to take,” said Armstrong. “I view Vladi as a healthy player, a guy who has scored 30 goals in the past on numerous occasions and a guy who should continue to score.”

The 29-year old is a five-time 30 goal scorer for the Blues but has seven goals and 24 assists over the past two seasons because of his injury.

Now you can wear Lady Gaga’s inauguration brooch…for a good cause

Greg Nash – Pool/Getty Images

There’s no doubt the most eye-catching component of the outfit Lady Gaga wore to sing at President Joe Biden‘s inauguration in January was the enormous gold dove brooch she wore on her fitted navy jacket.  Now, you can buy that same brooch — and help a good cause.

Vogue reports that the gold Schiaparelli dove brooch is now available at Bergdorf Goodman, Dover Street Market and direct from Schiaparelli, in four different versions.  The smallest, a six-centimeter brass dove, costs $750, and the most expensive one, a 12-centimeter white brass bird, goes for $2150.   According to Vogue, Gaga’s version was custom, and even bigger.

All funds raised from the sale of the brooches will go to Gaga’s own Born This Way Foundation. In a statement, Gaga’s mom, Cynthia Germanotta, with whom she co-founded the Foundation, said, “We couldn’t be more grateful to have the proceeds from the Schiaparelli Dove, a beautiful symbol of hope and new beginnings, benefit our work and mission to build a kinder, braver world.”

Meanwhile, Gaga’s current look is about as far away from her January ensemble as you can get: She posted a video of herself emerging from a pool while wearing a teeny-tiny orange bikini whose starfish-shaped top barely covers her.

Luke Bryan is “in the sweet spot of being a dad” to 10-year-old Tate and 13-year-old Bo

ABC/Eric McCandless

Luke Bryan has always been a proud papa, but his two sons are at a particularly rewarding age right now, the singer tells People.

“As they grow older, it’s easier to let them tag along,” Luke explains, adding that 13-year-old Thomas “Bo” Boyer and 10-year-old Tatum “Tate” Christopher are becoming “little men” already.

“Their personalities are really different,” he continues. “…They become your buddies. I mean, they’re still your kids, you still have to do the discipline and you still have to teach them the right and wrongs of life, but they really morph into your buddies.”

Still, now that his kids are a little older, Luke’s enjoying involving them in his life and country music career. For example, during a show the singer performed on his birthday last week, Bo and Tate were among the family members to make a surprise appearance onstage.

“And I’m certainly in the golden years,” he concludes. “I mean, it’s like the sweet spot of being a dad right now, and you can let them tag along.”

(DALLAS)  — Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence will begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list after offseason back surgery, head coach Mike McCarthy announced Thursday.

It is the third time Lawrence has had back surgery during his career.

“It’s more of a cleanup, so there’s no high concern,” said coach Mike McCarthy before the Cowboys’ first training camp practice. “He looks great. It’s probably more us than him as far as the timeline of him coming back.”

In 2016 and 2017, Lawrence had back surgery to repair an issue that began in 2015.

Wide receiver Amari Cooper, kicker Greg Zuerlein, defensive tackle Trysten Hill, rookie defensive end Chauncey Golston and offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt will also start training camp on the PUP list.

“He has a history there,” McCarthy said about Cooper, who had offseason ankle surgery. “He looks great. He’s in great shape, so this is the time of year to be smart.”

Watch Alanis Morissette voice a hermit crab in new trailer for ‘Madagascar: A Little Wild’

Dreamworks Animation

The animated series Madagascar: A Little Wild returns for a fourth season on Peacock and Hulu, and this time, Alanis Morissette is along for the ride.

In the new season, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo are joined by Alanis as the voice of Starlene, a talented hermit crab who has stage fright.  The series follows the main characters of the 2006 movie Madagascar as kids, living in their rescue habitat at the Central Park Zoo in New York City.

The action-packed trailer seems to suggest that the animals escape from the zoo and start running around New York City, though it’s unclear why. Starlene shows up briefly, as she asks the gang, “Are you always this happy?”

The new season starts August 6 and runs for six episodes.

Flyers trade defenseman Gostisbehere, draft picks to Coyotes

(PHILADELPHIA) — The Philadelphia Flyers have sent defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere and two draft picks to the Arizona Coyotes, the team announced Thursday.

The Flyers are getting nothing back in return. Instead, the trade opens up $4.5 million in salary-cap space for the team.

“This was a difficult decision but one we thought was necessary given the reality of the salary cap,” said President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Chuck Fletcher in a statement. “Shayne has been a quality player for this organization since the moment he arrived in Philadelphia and has been a part of many special moments in his seven seasons as a Flyer.”

Gostisbehere has spent his entire seven-year NHL career in the city. He appeared in 381 games and scored 60 goals and assisted on 159 goals.

This is the second time in a week that Arizona has traded for a player and did not have to give up anything in return. On Saturday, the New York Islanders traded forward Andrew Lang and three picks to the Coyotes to dump Ladd’s $5.5 million salary.

Lauren Alaina got a major surprise backstage at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this week, as not one but four of her singles received official RIAA gold certification plaques.

Her 2019 single “Getting Good” was among them, as was the title track of her 2017 Road Less Traveled album, plus two more songs off that project’s track list: “Doin’ Fine” and “Like My Mother Does.”

“This achievement as a female in country music is such an honor,” Lauren reflected on social media, sharing a couple of snapshots of the special moment when her team surprised her with her new hardware.

“Thank you to my fans for listening & buying the music I pour my heart into. These gold records are just as much yours,” she added.

Looking ahead, Lauren’s got a number of diverse ventures on the horizon. She’ll serve as opening act for Florida Georgia Line’s I Love My Country Tour this fall, and she’s also planning a couple of on-screen roles, both in an episode of the CBS series Secret Celebrity Renovation and in a starring role in the Hallmark film Roadhouse Romance.

Plus, Lauren also recently authored her first-ever book. Part coming-of-age memoir, part survival guide, the new title — called Getting Good at Being You: Learning to Love Who God Made You to Be — will be on shelves November 2.
