Olivia Wilde is speaking out about her rumored relationship with Harry Styles.  The two sparked dating rumors earlier this year, but so far they’ve neither confirmed nor denied anything publicly.

Gracing the cover of Vogue‘s January 2022 edition, the actress was asked about her love life and how she weathers the tabloid tornado.  Although she kept her cards close, she said she’s “happier than I’ve ever been.”

“It’s obviously really tempting to correct a false narrative,” Olivia, 37, declared. “But I think what you realize is that when you’re really happy, it doesn’t matter what strangers think about you. All that matters to you is what’s real, and what you love, and who you love.”

Olivia was frequently spotted supporting Harry while on his Love on Tour U.S. trek. Before the Orange Bowl kicks off on New Year’s Eve, Harry will take the stage to headline the pregame party during the Capital One Beach Bash.  The December 30 free show, which Harry will co-headline with Khalid, takes place at South Beach, Florida’s Lummus Park.

You can reserve your tickets beginning Tuesday, December 21, at noon ET on the Orange Bowl’s website, but Capital One cardholders get to cut the line the day before, starting at 10:59 a.m. ET.  Ticket purchases will be limited to two per person.

The Capital One Beach Bash mandates all attendees must either show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours before the show’s 4 p.m. start.

KISSGene Simmons showed up on stage while Foo Fighters were rocking and rolling all nite during a recent concert in Las Vegas.

During the show, guitarist Chris Shiflett started playing the riff to a KISS song when Dave Grohl interrupted him to reveal that Simmons was actually backstage.

“We can’t do that in front of Gene Simmons!” Grohl said. He then started begging Simmons to come on stage and show the crowd his “punim” — Yiddish for “face.” Simmons finally obliged and walked out briefly while wearing a face mask, and handed Grohl what appeared to be a dollar bill.

“I had posters of that motherf***er on my wall when I was a kid,” Grohl exclaimed as Simmons returned backstage. “Let me rephrase that — I still have posters of Gene Simmons on my f***ing wall at home.”

You can watch fan-shot footage of the interaction streaming now on YouTube.

Simmons also tweeted a video of him palling around with the Foos before the show.

Grohl, by the way, just covered KISS’ “Rock and Roll All Nite” with producer Greg Kurstin for the final night of their Hanukkah Sessions series.

‘TIME’ names Olivia Rodrigo its Entertainer of the Year

Kelia Anne for TIME

Olivia Rodrigo continues to rack up the accolades: TIME has just named her its Entertainer of the Year for 2021.

“The 18-Year-Old Singer-Songwriter’s Uninhibited, Confessional Album Captured the Tone of a Turbulent Year,” the publication writes of Olivia. In her cover story, the “Good 4 U” singer talks about her future, running her business and those constant comparisons to other artists — from Taylor Swift and Carole King to Avril Lavigne and Alanis Morissette.

“Young women are constantly compared to each other. I’m the ‘new this’ or ‘this woman meets that woman,’ and that can be reductive,” she tells TIME. “I’m just Olivia. I’m doing my own thing. It’s meaningful when people recognize that.”

But those artists to whom she’s been compared have nothing but praise for Olivia. Alanis Morissette says of the teen star, “She has a steadfast care about self-expression. She’s not precious about it, nor does she seem overwhelmed by it all.”

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Carole King says Olivia has “a gift of knowing how to tell a story in a song.”  And Gwen Stefani, the person with whom Olivia says she’d most like to write a song, says she’d be “honored” to do so.

As for what’s next for her, Olivia’s already made a deal to own her own masters, avoiding the mistake that her idol Taylor Swift made as a teen that she’s now busy correcting. She’s also moved into her own place, but her parents still help with laundry and grocery shopping.

And in terms of following up SOUR, Olivia tells TIME, “I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t any pressure. But I sometimes remember: ‘This happened 10 months ago. You don’t have to have it all figured out yet.’”

Jennifer Aniston on “hurtful” assumption that she “chose career over kids”

ABC

Fans could hardly wait to see the cast of Friends reunite for the 2021 HBO Max special, but for Jennifer Aniston, filming was more emotionally complicated than she anticipated.

The actress told The Hollywood Reporter that she was “so naive” to think that revisiting that time in her life would be easy.

At times during filming, Aniston got so overwhelmed that she “had to walk out,” she said.

“It was like, ‘Hi, past, remember me? Remember how that sucked? You thought everything was in front of you and life was going to be just gorgeous and then you went through maybe the hardest time in your life?'” she recalled. “It was all very jarring.”

Aniston, 52, starred in Friends from 1994 until 2004, a time during which tabloids made much ado about her relationship with actor Brad Pitt, from whom she split in 2005. Although she did not get into specifics in the THR interview, Aniston did tell the publication that while she appeared on comedy series, her expectations for her personal life “sort of shape-shifted.”

Ultimately, her reaction to the media’s obsession with her also evolved.

“I used to take it all very personally — the pregnancy rumors and the whole ‘Oh, she chose career over kids’ assumption. It’s like, ‘You have no clue what’s going with me personally, medically, why I can’t … can I have kids?'” she said. “They don’t know anything, and it was really hurtful and just nasty.”

Now, however, Aniston is grateful to have had all of the experiences that have come her way, good and bad.

“Everything’s a blessing if you’re able to look at life’s ups and downs in that way,” she said. “If it all hadn’t happened, I would not be sitting here the woman that I am.”

Travis Scott sat down with Charlamagne tha God for his first interview following last month’s Astroworld tragedy that left 10 people dead and many others injured.

In the hour-long interview posted to Charlamagne’s YouTube page Thursday, the rapper reiterated that he did not know the extent of the tragedy until after the show. He also denies hearing screams for help from the crowd that would have caused him to shut things down.

“You can only help what you can see and whatever you’re told, whenever they tell you to stop, you stop,” Travis said.

Charlamagne asked Travis about the “raging” he encourages at his shows and whether that contributed to what happened.

“It didn’t feel like, you know…people didn’t show up there just to be harmful,” Travis said. “People just showed up to have a good time and then something unfortunate happened and I think we really just got to figure out what that was.”

“‘Raging’…they have a textbook definition, but in concerts we’ve grown it to be just the experience of fun,” he added. “It’s not about just…harm. It’s not about that. It’s about letting go and having fun, help others and love each other.”

Travis went on to stay he wants to help improve concert safety measures for the future, so something like this never happens again.
