Machine Gun Kelly is trading the stage for the basketball court to play in the 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

The “Bloody Valentine” rocker will play for Team Walton against Team Nique, which will be coached by Basketball Hall of Famers Bill Walton and Dominque Wilkins, respectively.

Kelly’s teammates include Migos rapper Quavo, Matt James of The Bachelor, and WNBA player Dearica Hamby, while Team Nique boasts country musician Kane Brown, actor and comedian Tiffany Haddish, NFL star Myles Garrett, and rapper Jack Harlow.

Not on any of the rosters this year is Arcade Fire‘s Win Butler, who has played in four NBA All-Star Celebrity games, and even took home the MVP trophy in 2016.

This year’s contest takes place Friday, February 18, in MGK’s hometown of Cleveland. It will air on ESPN starting at 7 p.m. ET.

MGK, by the way, is having quite the month when it comes to the sports world. Last weekend, he performed during the NHL All-Star Game, and he plays a pre-Super Bowl concert tonight in Los Angeles.

The lineup for the 2022 edition of the Allman Brothers Band-founded Peach Music Festival has been unveiled, and The Black Crowes and Phish singer/guitarist Trey Anastasio‘s solo band are among the acts that have been confirmed as headliners.

The 10th anniversary event will take place over four days, June 30-July 3, at its usual location, Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

More than 50 artists will be performing at this year’s festival, with the bill also including founding Allman Brothers Band drummer Jaimoe, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, reggae legends The Wailers and Steel Pulse, G. Love, and Duane Betts — son of original Allman Brothers singer/guitarist Dickey Betts.

Jaimoe will be playing with a collective dubbed Jaimoe and Friends, while The Wailers will perform the late Bob Marley‘s classic hits compilation Legend in its entirety. In addition, a group called Trouble No More will celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers’ 1972 album Eat a Peach. Trouble No More’s lead singer is Lamar Williams Jr., whose late father played bass with the Allmans from 1972 to 1976.

With the festival scheduled just before July 4, the four-day bash will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display on Sunday, July 3.

“Why do they always have to go bigger?!” See action-packed trailer to ‘Jurassic Park: Dominion’

“Why do they always have to go bigger?!” See action-packed trailer to ‘Jurassic Park: Dominion’
Universal Pictures

Universal dropped the action-packed new trailer to Jurassic Park: Dominion, and it’s a doozy. Not only does it reunite original Jurassic Park series stars Sam NeillLaura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, it has them joining Jurassic World‘s Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard during what’s become an extinction-level event.

And by “extinction level,” we’re talking humans, not dinos.

The preview begins with the voice of the late Richard Attenborough‘s Dr. Hammond from the original film, talking about why he played God to launch his amusement park, as we see the results, years later: Dinosaurs running loose everywhere.

One scene has a herd of dinos running free like mustangs on snow-covered plains; eventually we see Pratt’s Owen Grady on horseback, herding them as they run.

Owen later tries to convince Howard’s Claire Dearing to help him protect their raptor pal Blue and her baby. “Humans and dinosaurs can’t co-exist,” she insists. “We created an ecological disaster!”

As the preview progresses, it becomes obvious that the situation is out of control, and who better to tap to help than Neill’s Dr. Alan Grant and Dern’s Dr. Ellie Sattler and Goldblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm.

“We not only lack dominion over nature,” Malcolm notes later in the trailer, “we’re subordinate to it.”

As proof, we see our heroes being stalked, all over the world, by all manner of thunder lizards. One shot shows Owen and Claire on a plane that’s attacked mid-air by a giant pterodactyl.

Another scene shows Grant, Malcolm, Sattler and the gang in the crosshairs of a massive dinosaur. “Don’t move,” they say in unison, in a callback to the 1993 original.

“Bigger!” Malcolm whispers. “Why do they always have to go bigger!?”

Jurassic World: Dominion, the last in director Colin Trevorrow‘s trilogy, opens June 10.

‘Power’ spin-off shows real ‘Force’ for Starz’s ratings

Power Book IV: Force, the third spin-off from executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson‘s Power franchise, scored big ratings for Starz.

The Hollywood Reporter notes the show’s debut Sunday night, centering on Joseph Secura‘s Tommy, scored 3.3 million viewers — the biggest numbers ever for the cable network.

50 tells ABC Audio that he always had faith in launching a franchise — even when Starz initially passed on the first show. Re-working the music and adding his own, changed the network execs’ minds.

“Once you have the hit, it’s easy to kind of massage the idea of more of it,” 50 says. “And I’m saying, what you need is to convince them that the Universe will work.”

And, “it’s working,” Jackson says of the original show, and its first three spin-offs Book II: Ghost, and Book III: Raising Kanan. He adds with a laugh, “You know, they looking at it going, number-one, number-two and number-three [shows] in African-American and Latino households!”

Shane Harper, who plays Vic, notes, “When you go online, you see the fans reactions, and you see…you know, the millions and millions of views and the like 100 percent approval rating. You know, you look at the trailer, and it’s like…15,000 thumbs up, zero thumbs down. That’s the kind of show that we’re on, and we’re on the ‘Tommy Show’, and that’s like the most exciting part about it.”

For Gabrielle Ryan, who plays Gloria, “It’s definitely a dream to be part of this, and to be part of this Power Universe, you know, it’s a cultural phenomenon. 50 Cent and [co-producers] Courtney Kemp and Mike Canton have created is just amazing, and to be part of it, especially the Tommy spinoff, is just it’s surreal.”

Fans can catch quite a few celebrity appearances in the music video for “Cold Beer Truth,” the latest new song to be released from Chris Janson.

Kid Rock is just one of the stars to make an appearance in the clip, playing the role of a buddy showing up to have a good time in a honky tonk alongside the singer and several other pals.

But it’s not just country music that gets the all-star treatment: Chris tips his hat to his love of NASCAR, too. The video includes footage from the RCR Racing Museum that features Richard Childress, the famed NASCAR driver and partner of late racing legend Dale Earnhardt. Former Alabama football player John Cassimus and legendary fisherman Bill Dance also turn up in the video.

“Cold Beer Truth” is the newest song to arrive off of Chris’ forthcoming studio album, All In. “This video pays tribute to all the good buddies out there in America who have made some great memories while sharing some cold beer truth,” Chris explained when he released the song and music video.

Also featured in the video are the singer’s wife, Kelly, and their children, plus some other family members and loved ones.

Chris has already shared two songs off of All In: The album’s title track and its lead single, “Bye Mom.”

ATF bomb-sniffing dogs on patrol at the Super Bowl

(LOS ANGELES) — Not all the Super Bowl action on Sunday will be on the field at Sofi Stadium — it might be outside in the search for bombs and suspicious packages.

More than 30 bomb-sniffing dogs from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) K-9 unit — come to Los Angeles from as far as Savannah, Georgia.

“ATF K-9 Division is out here with K-9 from all over the country, making sure that this is one of the safest cities in America,” Ginger Colbrun, an ATF spokeswoman told ABC News. “We are making sure that any bags that are left are taken care of and they don’t have any explosives or firearms or ammunition in them.”

ABC News watched a demonstration of ATF dogs sniffing backpacks outside of the Super Bowl Experience, an interactive three-day event at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

ATF’s bomb-sniffing dogs work other large-scale events as well, including various pro sports all-star games, and the G-9 summit, Colburn said.

“These dogs work on a food reward basis, so every time they smell an explosive, they receive food and so they train all day, all week, all year,” she explained.

Belle, Wolfgang and Jerry — three of the ATF bomb sniffing dogs that ABC News watched train — are part of the 12 K-9 teams from around the U.S. at the Super Bowl.

Overall, ATF has more than 80 people in Los Angeles at various locations around the city.

Alex Guerrero, a career bomb technician with ATF said that if the dog does get a hit on a suspicious package, it’s trained to sit right by it.

“We do quite a bit of training and this is what this is, what we train for,” Guerrero, who is based in Houston, Texas, said. “We’re all trained well and have great equipment to do our job.”

Courtney Love‘s study in demonology has a new student.

Rapper and pop star Doja Cat has recorded a cover of the Hole song “Celebrity Skin” for a new Taco Bell commercial.

The ad, which is streaming now on YouTube ahead of its TV premiere during the Super Bowl this Sunday, finds Doja stuck in a school for clowns that’s constantly bombarded by an announcement that “the ice cream machine is still broken” — surely a shot at Taco Bell’s fast food competition, McDonald’s. Doja and her fellow clowns soon find an escape from the monotony, which is soundtracked by her version of “Celebrity Skin.”

You may also notice Doja singing some different lyrics from the original ’90s alt classic, which a press release says were “reworked in partnership” with Love.

The cover will be officially released this Friday. You can check out a behind-the-scenes video from the recording session now on YouTube.
