The Beatles are back on the Billboard charts thanks to Anthology 4, the new addition to the band’s Anthology series, which was recently reissued.

Anthology 4 features 36 tracks, including 13 previously unreleased demos, session recordings and more. It debuted in the top 10 on five Billboard charts, including both the Top Albums Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts, where it landed at #9.

The album is also at #7 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, #6 on the Top Rock Albums chart and #3 on the Indie Store Album Sales chart.

Anthology 4 was released as a standalone and was also part of the larger The Anthology Collection box set, with both debuting at #48 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The Collection includes the first three Anthology releases, which originally came out in the ’90s, and hit #1 on the Billboard 200 and the Top Album Sales chart.

The release of The Anthology Collection coincided with the Disney+ debut of the newly restored and remastered version of the Anthology documentary series, which aired on ABC in 1995. The new version was expanded from eight to nine episodes. A 25th anniversary edition of The Beatles Anthology book was also released in October.

Miley Cyrus revealed an unusual phobia on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday.

The singer said she has a fear of paper, specifically when dry hands are touching it, which makes Christmas an unhappy holiday for her.

“Christmas, I’m known as a little bit of a Grinch because I have a qualm with Christmas. I hate paper,” she said. “The real problem for me with paper is when people have dry hands and they touch paper and then it’s Christmas and it’s cold and everyone’s hands are dry and they’re all touching paper.”

Miley admitted the phobia is getting worse and she’s looking into treatment for it because it’s affecting her everyday life — but her new fiancé, Maxx Morando, has been helping.

“Someone gets an Amazon box, I’m sick, because the cardboard is the worst of it all,” she said. “It’s extra dry and there’s packaging within it. That’s the best part, that’s really why I got engaged, because I just make my fiancé open all the packages outside.”

When Kimmel joked that the first wedding anniversary is paper, Miley responded, “Uh-uh, not here!”

Miley confirmed her engagement in an interview with ABC’s Chris Connelly that aired on Good Morning America Wednesday. She was previously married to Liam Hemsworth.

(ATLANTA) — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine advisory committee voted 8-3 on Friday to remove the universal recommendation for the hepatitis B vaccine at birth.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted to make vaccine recommendations based on the mother’s testing status.

The recommendations state that if a mother tests negative for hepatitis B, parents should decide, with the guidance of their health care provider, whether the shot is right for their newborn — referred to as “individual-based decision-making,” according to a document with the ACIP voting language.

The vote includes that newborns who do not receive the hepatitis B birth dose get an initial dose no earlier than 2 months old.

The voting language document emphasized there is no change to the recommendation that infants born to women who test positive or have unknown status to be vaccinated.

The language document also included a footnote that parents and health care providers should consider whether the newborn faces risks, such as a hepatitis B-positive household member or frequent contact with people who have emigrated from areas where hepatitis B is common.

In a second vote, the ACIP voted 6-4, with one abstention, that parents of older children should talk to their doctor about hepatitis B antibody testing before considering subsequent hepatitis B vaccination.

The testing would determine whether an antibody threshold was achieved and should be covered by insurance.

The CDC acting director, Health and Human Services Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill, is expected to sign off on the change.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

Thomas Rhett sold out a concert at Boston’s Fenway Park earlier this year, which had long been a dream of his. If you weren’t able to make it, you can hear some of it now on his new release, Thomas Rhett Live From Fenway Park.

The EP features six live songs, as well as audio of TR reading a letter to the Boston audience about how much the city means to him. “Pretty sure I’ve played most every venue that this town has to offer,” he recalled, before running down a list. He also noted that his favorite show in Boston was one he played two years ago at TD Garden.

“I’ve drank most of your bars out of beer. I’ve eaten my weight in lobster rolls. … Thrown my guts up on a whale-watching tour. And attended my fair share of Red Sox games,” TR continued. “Needless to say, this place has always been and always will be one of my favorite places to play on the planet. I have a lot of history in this city and I love y’all so much.”

The EP includes live performances of “Make Me Wanna,” “Beautiful As You,” “T-Shirt,” “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Woman” with special guest Teddy Swims, “Die a Happy Man” and “She Had Me at Heads Carolina,” the Cole Swindell hit that he co-wrote. There are also videos of all those performances on YouTube.

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are globe-trotting together and meeting important figures along the way.

Perry and Trudeau posed with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife in a photo posted to social media on Thursday by the former Japanese leader.

The prime minister referred to Perry as Trudeau’s “partner” in a social media post about the meeting.

“Former Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch,” wrote Kishida, in a caption translated from Japanese to English.

“During his time as prime minister, we met multiple times as fellow leaders, and when I visited Canada, we worked together to strengthen bilateral relations, including formulating the ‘Japan-Canada Action Plan,’ sweating it out side by side,” he continued.

Trudeau responded to the photo on social media, adding, “Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone.”

Kishida served as the 100th and 101st prime minister of Japan, serving from October 2021 until October 2024. Trudeau resigned as Canada’s prime minister earlier this year after serving a decade in the role.

Trudeau and Perry have not publicly commented on their relationship.

Perry recently split from Orlando Bloom, with whom she had been in a relationship since 2016 and to whom she became engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2019.

In June, People reported that Perry and Bloom have “gone their separate ways” after a nearly decade-long relationship.

The pair welcomed their first child together, Daisy Dove Bloom, in August 2020.

Trudeau announced his separation from his then-wife Sophie Trudeau in August 2023. They had been married since 2005 and share three children together — Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien Trudeau.

Aerosmith and Yungblud have released a new version of the One More Time track “Wild Woman” featuring country star Lainey Wilson.

Steven Tyler and Yungblud decided to ask Lainey to add her vocals to the track after she joined Tyler to perform the Aerosmith classic “Dream On” at his sixth annual Jam for Janie benefit in February. Joe Perry later went in and added new guitar parts to the track.

“I’m really hyped to have Lainey Wilson jump on this record with us. I have been a fan of her for a while. Her story is inspirational” says Yungblud. “With this record, we really needed a female vocalist who could carry it with the level of authenticity that Lainey embodies. We needed a wild woman and we for sure got one!”

Wild Woman (Lainey Wilson Version)” is available now via digital outlets.

One More Time, released in November, is the first collaborative EP between Aerosmith and Yungblud. The record debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 and at #1 on the U.K. Official Chart.

(NEW YORK) — Luigi Mangione returns to court Friday for a fourth day of an evidence suppression hearing in the state case charging him with murdering United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a New York City sidewalk last year.

Testimony is expected to include two Altoona, Pennsylvania, patrolmen who were among more than a dozen officers at the McDonald’s where Mangione was arrested following the shooting.

One of them, Christy Wasser, is seen on body camera footage searching Mangione’s backpack and, later, is heard saying, “there’s a weapon.”

The defense is trying to exclude the contents of the backpack from Mangione’s trial, arguing police had no warrant and no reason to even touch it.

“He never acted belligerent, did he?” defense attorney Jacob Kaplan asked Patrolman Tyler Frye during Thursday’s proceedings. “No,” Frye answered.

“He never attempted to open is backpack at the McDonald’s, did he?” Kaplan asked.  “No,” the patrolman responded.

The bag contained what prosecutors have described as the means and the motive for the alleged crime.  Prosecutor says police retrieved a 3D-printed pistol used to kill Thompson and a notebook in which Mangione allegedly wrote, “The target is insurance. It checks every box.”

The hearing is expected to continue well into next week, though the judge on Thursday told both sides they were being “duplicative” and said that’s “not helping your case.”

Coldest temperatures of the season hit Midwest, Northeast

(NEW YORK) — The coldest air of the season is invading the Midwest and Northeast as the Mid-Atlantic sees its first snow of the season.

Record low temperatures were recorded across the Midwest and Northeast on Friday morning, including: 6 degrees in Scranton, Pennsylvania; minus 4 degrees in Plattsburgh, New York, zero degrees in Springfield, Illinois; and 3 degrees in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Wind chills — what temperature it feels like — will also be a factor across the Midwest and Northeast. In Boston and Buffalo, New York, the temperature feels below zero Friday morning, while New York City woke up to wind chills in the teens.

The temperature will barely improve in the afternoon. Wind chills will only reach the mid-teens in Chicago and mid-20s in New York City/

This weekend, a blast of cold air will bring a renewed chill to Minneapolis, and then next week, another shot of arctic air will keep the Midwest and Northeast well below zero for wind chills.

Meanwhile, most of Virginia is waking up to snow on Friday, with Richmond, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., residents getting their first snowfall of the season. Richmond is forecast to get 1 to 3 inches while D.C. could see 1 inch of snow and slippery roads.

And on Saturday, a quick snowstorm will move through the Dakotas and Nebraska, dropping a few inches.

By Saturday evening, the snow will reach Iowa. Three to 7 inches of snow is possible and a winter storm watch is in place there.

Chicago could see a small amount of snow on Sunday morning.
