Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, AJ McLean, Nick Carter and more will perform at the Songs for Tomorrow charity event, a benefit concert to celebrate Aaron Carter‘s life.

In addition to members of *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, bands like O-Town and LFO will take part in the tribute concert. David Archuleta, Ryan Cabrera and B. Howard are also confirmed to be part of the benefit.

As previously reported, Nick will perform his tribute song “Hurts to Love You” for the first time at the concert.

Angel Conrad, who is Aaron’s twin sister, organized the upcoming event and tapped Lance to help her co-host the memorial. It will be held January 18 starting at 8 p.m. PT in West Hollywood, California.

Proceeds will be directed toward the children’s mental health charity On Our Sleeves. Angel said she was inspired to put together the concert after watching Aaron struggle with his own mental health battles.

Tickets are on sale on the event’s official website. Those who cannot support the cause in person can access a special livestream of the event for a $20 donation.

Aaron was found dead in his California home on November 5 at the age of 34.

Pop Evil has shared a new song called “Dead Reckoning,” a track off the band’s upcoming album, Skeletons.

“Dead Reckoning” features the band Fit for a King. You can watch its accompanying visualizer streaming now on YouTube.

Skeletons, the follow-up to 2021’s Versatile, is due out March 17. It also includes the previously released songs “Paranoid (Crash & Burn)” and “Eye of the Storm.”

Pop Evil will launch a U.S. tour in support of Skeletons in March.

Of Monsters and Men vocalist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir has released her debut solo single, “Godzilla.”

“The concept of the song was inspired by the early Godzilla classics,” Nanna explains. “I somehow resonated and felt empathetic with this big monstrous thing on the screen.”

“I felt that Godzilla, while being so destructive, ultimately means well and simply wants to exist but finds itself in a world in which it doesn’t belong,” she continues. “It’s about feeling out of place, like a villain in a story, yet having someone rooting for you when you’ve made a big mess.”

Earlier this month, Callista Clark and Jimmie Allen seemed to be teasing fans with a possible collaboration. Well, now it’s here. 

The pair just released a new version of Callista’s track “Wish You Wouldn’t,” which is featured on the deluxe edition of her debut album, Real To Me: The Way I Feel. 

“Having Jimmie Allen on ‘Wish You Wouldn’t’ is a literal dream come true,” Callista shares. “He was the only person I wanted for that song—he brings such an effortlessly smooth charm to the song. I’m still ecstatic he said ‘yes’!”

Jimmie adds, “I love diving into all types of projects and experimenting with different artists so I was honored Callista asked me to jump on this song—I’m grateful to be a part of her journey. She is an incredible talent and I loved getting to play with the variation between the fast and slow vocals—it’s a fun song to sing.”

Måneskin has premiered the video for the band’s new single, “Gossip.”

The clip, streaming now on YouTube, finds the Italian rockers performing behind a glass wall, much to the curiosity of an eclectic gathering of onlookers. The NSFW clip also features a fair share of censored and uncensored nudity, which probably won’t surprise anyone who saw Måneskin’s 2022 VMA performance — or what little of it was actually shown, anyway.

Rage Against the Machine‘s Tom Morello, who guests on “Gossip,” also makes a cameo in the video.

“Gossip” will appear on Måneskin’s upcoming album, Rush!, due out January 20. The record also includes the singles “Supermodel” and “The Loneliest.”

As previously reported, Neal Schon recently indicated that Journey’s original keyboardist, Gregg Rolie, would be turning up at the band’s upcoming 50th anniversary tour. But his revelation may have been premature. In a post to their joint Facebook page, Neal’s wife, Michaele, shared that not everyone in the band is on board with Gregg’s return.

The post started off by noting how Jeff Beck’s death should make people realize how precious life is — then she brought up the tour.

“TWO BAND MEMBERS of the Journey current LINE UP ARE ‘adamant’ NO against Gregg Rolie to return,” she writes. “Life is so precious Neal and Gregg agree. Who wants to have that feeling, truly sad.” She added, “Everyone LOVES you Gregg ROLIE and respects who you are and ALL You have been and are to Journey,” noting, “Neal Schön and Gregg ROLIE will be somewhere Together at least one time this Year in Honor of what they began in 1972.”

The post comes amid major turmoil in the band, particularly between Schon and his bandmate Jonathan Cain. Cain recently made it known that he will be on the Journey tour, sharing a post from a ski trip and noting he was enjoying some time on the slopes before “hitting the road with Journey.”

The Journey 50th anniversary tour is set to kick off February 4 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Sam Smith released the sensual music video of their new song “Gimme,” which features rapper Koffee and artist Jessie Reyez. It features the trio taking over a club and doing anything they want.

Andy Grammer is giving us a good cry with his new song “These Tears,” which is about him learning to accept his mother’s death. The tear-jerking music video shows Andy reliving some of his favorite memories of his mom.

BTS‘ Jimin hopped on K-pop singer Taeyang‘s new song “Vibe,” and the two released its colorful music video. Taeyang has just ended his mandatory military service, while Jimin is expected to start his soon.

Lukas Graham and country singer Mickey Guyton joined forces for the ballad “Home Movies.” Lukas revealed his favorite line from the new song: “Everybody’s got a story no one knows.” 

Armani White released his next single, “GOATED,” which features Denzel Curry. The single captures the same energy as his breakout single, “Billie Eilish.”

Måneskin teamed up with Rage Against The Machine‘s Tom Morello for new anthem “Gossip.” This leads up to the band’s new album, RUSH!, which arrives January 20.

British singer Mimi Webb is back with “Red Flags,” a feisty new song about a romance gone wrong. Mimi sings about all the warning signs she wishes she hadn’t brushed off during the relationship.

BANNERS released “In Your Universe,” the latest song off his EP I Wish I Was Flawless, I’m Not, which were both released on Friday. The piano ballad is about how he fell in love with a girl the moment they met.

Disney+ has announced a new documentary about U2‘s Bono and The Edge.

The film, titled Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming, finds the longtime bandmates returning to their hometown of Dublin, Ireland, while being interviewed by famed talk show host David Letterman.

“Recently, I won a radio contest,” Letterman says in a statement. “Winner gets to visit Dublin with Bono and The Edge (radio contest part not true, but I feel like a winner). They showed me around, introduced me to their musician friends, and performed some of their greatest songs in a small theater.”

“It’s a great tour,” Letterman adds. “Get in touch with them — I’m told there are still availabilities. I’m the luckiest man on the planet. (There are no availabilities).”

A Sort of Homecoming premieres on March 17, which is not only St. Patrick’s Day, but also the release date for U2’s upcoming album, Songs of Surrender, which features rerecorded versions of 40 of the band’s songs.

Ed Sheeran and Lizzo are heading down to the Big Easy this spring to headline this year’s installment of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

The two artists will headline the first weekend of the festival, which takes place April 28, 29 and 30. Since the North American leg of Ed’s Mathematics tour doesn’t start until May 6, this is a good opportunity to get a preview of his set.

Also on the bill for that weekend are Kenny Loggins, rock legend Robert Plant and his musical partner Alison Krauss, R&B stars Jill Scott and Jazmine Sullivan, classic rock group Steve Miller Band and rap legends Wu-Tang Clan, to name just a few.

The lineup for weekend two, which takes place May 4, 5, 6 and 7, features The Lumineers, Dead & Company featuring John Mayer, H.E.R., country/pop star Kane Brown, Melissa Etheridge, Ne-Yo, Mumford & Sons, classic rockers Santana, Jon Batiste, rapper Ludacris and legendary crooner Tom Jones, plus dozens more.

Pierce the Veil has released a new song called “Even When I’m Not with You,” a track off the band’s upcoming album, The Jaws of Life.

“Musically, [‘Even When I’m Not with You’ is] the first song we’ve ever created that utilizes the same looping riff throughout nearly the entire song,” says frontman Vic Fuentes. “This was something that I have been trying to accomplish for years with our band and I’m excited that we finally found a way to do it with this one.”
