Even Harry Styles knows all good things must come to an end — and that includes his massively popular Love on Tour.

Harry announced the final two shows of the North American leg of his tour will take place in a few weeks in Palm Springs, California. He’ll take over the Acrisure Arena on January 31 and February 1 with opener Madi Diaz.

Those hoping to get their hands on tickets can access a special Ticketmaster presale on January 16 beginning at 12 p.m. PT. Fans are urged to register for the Verified Fan program to access the sale, as tickets are expected to sell quickly.

There will be a general public sale starting January 19 at 10 a.m. PT on Harry’s official website.

Harry launched Love on Tour in September 2021 after the pandemic forced him to push back its original starting date. The trek, which is in support of his albums Fine Line and Harry’s House, is expected to wrap July 22 with a final date set at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

(NOTE LANGUAGE) Elvie Shane is taking on one of The Rolling Stones most iconic songs: “Sympathy for the Devil.”

The tune will be featured on the upcoming country compilation Stoned Cold Country, a celebration of the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers’ 60th anniversary. It will feature some of country’s biggest artists, including Jimmie Allen, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Steve Earle, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Lainey Wilson and Zac Brown Band.

“‘Sympathy for the Devil’ isn’t what the title would suggest. When given the opportunity to sing on this bada** record, I dove headfirst into the lyrics and book that inspired the song,” Shane shares. “I find it to be more of a cautionary tale. All of these atrocities committed in each line were the doings of us, humans – not the Devil. So have some sympathy for the scapegoat.”

He adds, “The message is important. I’m proud to have the chance to put my spin on it.”

Stoned Cold Country is due out this spring.

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars‘ “Uptown Funk” is at the center of a new royalties lawsuit.

Billboard reports family members of the Gap Band, who were credited as the song’s co-writers in 2015, are suing BMG Rights Management for reportedly not paying them royalties.

The suit was filed Thursday by the families of Robert and Ronnie Wilson in Manhattan federal court. They say a 2015 deal allowed them to collect royalties because “Uptown Funk” samples the Gap Band’s 1979 single “I Don’t Believe You Want to Get Up and Dance (Oops Upside Your Head).” The deal allegedly allowed them to collect a 3.4 percent stake in the song’s profits. 

They are accusing BMG of breach of contract. The lawsuit states, in part, “Despite its obligations to account for and pay to plaintiffs their share of all income received from the Uptown Funk musical composition, BMG has refused and failed to provide either the funds due to plaintiffs or an accounting despite plaintiffs’ repeated demands.”

Attorney Michael Steger, who represents the family, said the family had been trying for years to come to a resolution and were ultimately “left with no choice but to pursue litigation to protect their rights.”

Neither Bruno nor Mark Ronson are named in the suit.

Representatives for BMG did not respond to the outlet’s request for comment.

Apple TV+’s new country talent competition My Kind of Country is set to premiere in March, and they’ve just announced the artists who will be helping to find the next country superstar.

Mickey Guyton, Jimmie Allen and Orville Peck are on board as scouts in search of the next big talent. The series is executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Kacey Musgraves, who will both appear in the show, as well.

The eight-episode series will have Jimmie, Mickey and Orville selecting a roster of artists to invite to Nashville to showcase their work. The winner will receive a “life-changing” prize from Apple Music, which will support them and give them exposure on the service. 

My Kind of Country debuts March 24 on Apple TV+.

Alice Cooper is hitting the road this spring. To celebrate Friday the 13th, the rocker just announced dates for his Too Close for Comfort tour.

The 11-date trek is set to kick off April 29 in Youngstown, Ohio, wrapping May 18 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Another New Music Friday means a new set of songs and albums to add to your rotation. Here’s some of the latest music to drop.

SZA, “Kill Bill” bundle — Days after releasing the video for “Kill Bill,” the singer dropped a four-track bundle that features the original, sped up, instrumental and vocals versions of the song.

HOUSE PARTY (New Motion Picture Soundtrack) — The 14-track album goes along with the House Party reboot, which is in theaters nationwide. It features new songs from 2 Chainz and classics from Juvenile, Montell Jordan, YG and more.

De La Soul, “The Magic Number” — The group’s 1989 song has been released on streaming services. It appeared on their album 3 Feet High and Rising, one of six that will make their streaming debut this year. To celebrate, the group dropped exclusive content on Spotify and will continue to do so leading up to their March 3 release.

Gucci Mane & Kodak Black, “King Snipe” — The rappers have teamed up for the first time since 2018’s “Wake Up in the Sky” with Bruno Mars. The video sees them partying, performing and dancing while showing off their jewelry.

Offset & Hit-Boy, “2 Live” — The pair raps about spending money on the song, released as part of Hit-Boy’s Mixed & Mastered collaboration with Patrón. The tequila was a noticeable drink in the video, where they’re captured hosting a party.

Partynextdoor, “Her Old Friends” — Produced by OG Parker and G Ry, the song sees Party confronting his ex’s friend group for condoning her sexual relationships with men.

Rihanna‘s new role as mother hasn’t stopped her grind. The singer, who is preparing her upcoming halftime show at the Super Bowl, recently dropped the teaser for the performance and made an appearance at the Golden Globes this week. But that’s not all she has in store. In a post shared to social media Thursday, she announced her Valentine’s Day-inspired Savage X Fenty lingerie line.

The Breakin’ Hearts collection consists of red-colored bras and briefs, a set with red-lip prints and a lot of mesh fabrics, among other things. Rih appears to model the Lovestruck Lace Crotchless Catsuit in her ad for the new line.

Tory Lanez‘s father, Sonstar Peterson, was seemingly upset after his son was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion, but neither he nor Tory hold a grudge against the rapper. In a videoshared to his Instagram, he said that they forgave Meg “a long time ago.”

“Both my son, myself and others of our family have long decided that we are not going to hold any animosity against Megan Pete aka Megan Thee Stallion. We forgave that girl a long time ago. A long time ago,” he said.

Sonstar talked about the importance of excusing someone and letting things go. “Principle of forgiveness is important in order to cleanse one’s heart and soul,” he said. “Hatred, resentment, bitterness — those things can actually diseases of the bones, it has been proven. And it can cause sickness in your body because you’re holding onto something that is negative against the real life force in your life.”

Though they’ve forgiven Megan, Sonstar said that he and Tory will not back down from “the machine” in fighting for justice. 

Tory was convicted of three felony assaults in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. His father made headlines for his rant about “the worst miscarriage of justice that this world has ever seen.”

Sonstar also called out Meg’s attorney Alex Spiro, Roc Nation COO Desiree Perez, Roc Nation and Jay-Z.

“You who say you rose from the gutter, but you have traded and bartered the souls of young men — and you’re still doing it,” he said at the time.

Tory’s sentencing date has been been pushed back from January 27 to February 28.

After weeks of speculation about Damson Idris and Lori Harvey‘s dating status, the actor shared a photo that many believe makes them Instagram official.

The image sees Idris planting a kiss on Lori’s cheek, with his arms wrapped around her. “Happy Birthday Nunu,” he wrote alongside the photo. He shared another pic of Lori holding up wads of cash to both of her ears; he captioned it, “The Plug.”

The Damson and Lori dating rumors sparked after a few public hangouts, including the times they were spotted together on a dinner date and at a friend’s birthday party.

When Harvey announced her Essence cover, he shared it on his Story alongside several fire emojis. In the issue, she said she’s “being a little selfish right now” after years of the media attaching her “to something or someone.” She also made it clear she knows exactly what she’s looking for in a man.

“My experience has taught me that I need somebody who respects me — somebody who understands and respects my standards and my boundaries and is a supportive, God-fearing man, family-oriented, and makes me feel at peace,” Harvey said. “I’m not compromising my peace and happiness for anything or anybody.”
