In a statement to PEOPLE, a “deeply saddened” Suzanne Somers said, “We go back a long way from the American Graffiti days to our glorious run of Tuesday nights sitcoms which bound us together for endless promotions. We laughed together again and again. She had great joy, enormous talent and above all perfect timing. I will miss you, Cindy. RIP seems too soon.”

Adele‘s team shared a “very special moment” that recently happened during her Las Vegas residency.
The official @AdeleAccess account posted an Instagram video that starts with Adele walking through the theater while belting out “When We Were Young.” While interacting with the audience, the singer took notice of a man a few rows back showing her a picture of his wife on his phone. As she walks by, he places a hand over his heart.
Adele returned to the stage and dedicated her performance of “Someone Like You” to the gentleman, but it later dawns on her why the man’s wife wasn’t in attendance.
“When I walk through the crowd, I wish you could see what I can see because I know I talk to a few people every night, but then I see little stories of people happening,” the singer explains while wiping away tears as she points to the widower. She then asks her audience if they can “see him holding his phone up.”
“I think that’s his wife on his phone, and I don’t think she’s here and it just really moved me,” she tearfully says. “It looks like you’re here on your own and … I’m just so sorry. I’m so sorry for your loss.”
She further apologizes, “I’m so sorry I didn’t realize what you were showing me until I was already over there.”
The man in attendance wasn’t identified.
Adele spoke of how she sees “these little pockets of people’s lives” when she walks through the crowd during her residency, which she says she finds “so beautiful.”

The track is available now via digital outlets and is accompanied by a video featuring Ronnie Radke as a super villain, which you can watch now on YouTube.
The clip also features a shot of a long-haired blond wannabe rocker who gets hit in the head with a laptop. You may recall that Radke got into a feud with Sebastian Bach last year over Falling in Reverse’s use of laptops and backing tracks during their live show.
“Watch the World Burn” follows Falling in Reverse’s 2022 singles “Zombified” and “Voices in My Head.” The band’s most recent album is 2017’s Coming Home.
Falling in Reverse will launch their Rockzilla tour with Papa Roach, Hollywood Undead and Escape the Fate on Wednesday in Rochester, New York.

Involuntary manslaughter charges were formally filed Tuesday against actor Alec Baldwin over the fatal shooting on the New Mexico set of the film Rust.
Both Baldwin and the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, have been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021.
First assistant director David Halls has already agreed to plead no contest for the charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon.
Santa Fe First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and special prosecutor Andrea Reeb announced their decision to file charges on January 19, nearly three months after receiving the local sheriff’s department investigation into the shooting.
Now that charges have been filed, each defendant will be issued a summons for their first court appearance, which can be done virtually or waived, prosecutors said. During a preliminary hearing, a judge will decide whether there is probable cause to move forward with a trial. Preliminary hearings are typically scheduled within 60 days of charges being filed, according to the district attorney’s office.
Should the case go to trial, a jury would have to decide under which definition of involuntary manslaughter Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed were guilty. For the first count of involuntary manslaughter, prosecutors must prove “underlying negligence,” while the second count, involuntary manslaughter in the commission of a lawful act, “requires proof that there was more than simple negligence involved in a death,” the district attorney’s office said.
Both counts are fourth-degree felonies punishable by up to 18 months in jail, however, a firearm enhancement on the second charge could carry a mandatory sentence of five years in prison, prosecutors said.
Baldwin’s lawyer, Luke Nikas, called the charging decision “a terrible miscarriage of justice” and vowed to fight the charges.
Gutierrez-Reed’s attorney, Jason Bowles, also pushed back against the charges and called the investigation flawed.

(WASHINGTON) — The FBI searched the Penn Biden Center in November soon after President Joe Biden’s lawyers reported finding classified documents at a former office he used there, according to three sources familiar with the situation.
It is unclear if the FBI found any additional documents during the search, which was done in coordination with Biden’s lawyers, sources said.
According to one source, the FBI checked the center to make sure all Biden-related documents were recovered.
The White House, Justice Department and FBI declined to comment.

(GRANTS PASS, Ore.) — A manhunt is underway in Oregon for a man accused of torturing a woman who authorities believe uses dating apps to find victims or people to help him evade police.
Benjamin Obadiah Foster, 36, is wanted by the Grants Pass Police Department for attempted murder, kidnapping and assault. He is an “extremely dangerous suspect” who “remains on the run,” the department warned in an update on Sunday.
“It’s essentially an all-hands-on-deck operation,” Grants Pass Police Chief Warren Hensman told ABC News. “We are laser-focused.”
Police began looking for Foster on Jan. 24, after responding to a home in Grants Pass for an assault. At the home, officers found a woman in critical condition who had been “bound and severely beaten into unconsciousness,” police said.
The suspect had already fled the scene before officers arrived but was identified as Foster, of Wolf Creek, police said.
“The scene was horrific,” Hensman told ABC News. “This is a bad man that needs to be captured.”
Hensman told reporters during a press briefing on Jan. 26 that they are still working on a timeline, but said the assault is believed to have occurred over a “protracted period of time.” He would not elaborate on the nature of the suspect’s relationship with the victim.
Amid the manhunt, authorities located Foster’s car and executed a search warrant in a home in Wolf Creek last week. The suspect “evaded capture and likely received assistance in fleeing the area,” police said.
“The investigation has revealed that the suspect is actively using online dating applications to contact unsuspecting individuals who may be lured into assisting with the suspect’s escape or potentially as additional victims,” police said.
During the search of the home, a 68-year-old woman, Tina Marie Jones, was arrested for allegedly hindering prosecution. She remains in custody at the Josephine County Jail.
Hensman would not say whether there is any sign that Foster has left the area.
“We are following, we are monitoring, we are using every piece of technology available to law enforcement to locate this man, and I’ll leave it at that,” he told reporters last Thursday.
The victim, identified by her family as Justine Siemens, was transported to an area hospital and remains on life support.
“She will survive this and as her family, we implore the nation to help bring her attacker to justice,” her family said in a statement.
Foster has been convicted on domestic violence charges for two assaults that occurred within the past five years in Las Vegas, court records show.
In 2019, he was accused of holding his then-girlfriend captive inside her Las Vegas apartment for two weeks, according to an arrest report obtained at the time by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He was charged with four counts of battery and two counts of assault, though in August 2021 he pleaded guilty to two of the battery charges as part of a plea deal, online court records show. A judge sentenced him to up to 1.5 years in prison, with credit for the 729 days he had already spent in jail awaiting trial, according to court records.
In August 2021, he reached another plea deal in a 2018 domestic violence case and was sentenced to credit for time served for a misdemeanor battery charge, court records show.
“Am I troubled by what I know already? The answer is yes,” Hensman told reporters when asked about the prior Las Vegas cases. “We’re laser-focused on capturing this man and bringing him to justice.”
The Grants Pass Police Department is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of Foster in the attempted murder case.
Police described Foster as a 6-foot-tall white man weighing approximately 180 pounds with brown hair, possibly worn in a bun, and blue eyes. Police shared recent photographs of Foster with a beard, though they said he may attempt to change his appearance by shaving his beard and hair or changing his hair color.
“The Grants Pass Police Department asks the public to pay particular attention to Foster’s facial structure and eyes since those features are very difficult to change,” the department said.
Tips for sightings of the suspect “continue to flood into the department, and we are confident this dangerous criminal will soon be captured with the assistance of a concerned citizen,” the department said.

(RAMALLAH, West Bank) — Wrapping up a visit to the Middle East amid cascading violence between Israelis and Palestinians, Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday announced that senior U.S. officials would remain in the region to continue discussions on “constructive ideas for practical steps that each side can take to lower the temperature” despite indications from leaders that a peaceful solution remains well beyond reach.
“We have no illusions that heightened tensions can be diffused overnight. But we’re prepared to support efforts here and with partners in the region if the parties have the will to do so,” Blinken said during a news conference in Jerusalem.
The secretary’s engagements in Israel have revealed little reason for optimism. During joint remarks with President Mahmoud Abbas, the long-running leader of the Palestinian Authority said he was ready to work the U.S. to advance the rights of Palestinians but placed blame for recent violent attacks solely on Israel and accused other powers of turning a blind eye.
“We affirm that the Israeli government is responsible for what’s happening these days, because of its practices that undermine the two-state solution and violate the signed agreements, and because of the lack of international efforts to dismantle the occupation and the settlement regimes, and the failure to recognize the Palestinian state and its full membership in the United Nation,” he declared.
Abbas also claimed that the Palestinian Authority had “exhausted all means with Israel to stop its violations” and had been forced to undertake decisions to protect its people, perhaps in reference to its suspension of security cooperation with Israel following a deadly raid in the Jenin refugee camp carried out by Israeli Defense Forces last week.
The Israeli government has described the raid as an urgent counterterrorism operation and said that six of the nine killed were militants, but Palestinians have denounced the event as a massacre.
Authorities fear the raid may have motivated a number of recent attacks on Israelis, including a shooting at an East Jerusalem synagogue of Friday that claimed seven lives.
Blinken expressed said he expressed “condolences and sorrow for the innocent Palestinian civilians who have lost their lives in escalating violence over the last year” and announced that the U.S. would contribute $50 million to United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, which supports the needs of Palestinian refugees.
The secretary also expressed some of the Biden administration’s misgivings about the Palestinian Authority, saying the two discussed the importance of regime “continuing to improve its governance and accountability” and emphasized that the U.S. was looking “to both sides to actively condemn any acts of violence, regardless of the victim or the perpetrator.”
But despite Blinken’s repeated urging against escalation during his visit, neither Abbas nor the numerous Israeli officials he met with echoed his direct pleas for peace.
Blinken also reaffirmed the U.S.’ long held commitment to implementing a two-state solution multiple times, but was realistic about currently dim prospects, saying the immediate goal was “restoring calm.”
“Over the longer term, we have to do more than just lower tensions,” he said.
