For the first time in over 50 years, Fleetwood Mac’s ballad “Landslide” has landed on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Stevie Nicks-penned track appears on the band’s 1975 self-titled album. It just debuted at #41 on the singles chart, thanks to its appearance in the series finale of Netflix’s Stranger Things.

While this is the first time the original “Landslide” recording has made the Hot 100, a live version of the song, from Fleetwood Mac’s 1997 album The Dance, peaked at #51 on the Hot 100 in 1998.

Although the original was never released as a single, “Landslide” has gone on to become an iconic track for the band and has been recorded by a whole host of artists, including The Chicks, whose cover peaked at #7 on the Hot 100. It’s also been covered by Smashing Pumpkins, the cast of Glee and others.

“Landslide” is now Fleetwood Mac’s 26th track to chart on the Hot 100, and their first debut since 2003’s “Peacekeeper.” They have now had a song debut on the singles chart in five different decades: the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, 2000s and 2020s. Other groups who have had debuts in at least five decades include The BeatlesThe Rolling StonesSantana and The Isley Brothers.

The Game is kicking off 2026 the same way he ended 2025 — with a new Gangsta Grillz album. He revealed the project to Uproxx’s Elliott Wilson, who shared the news at the end of their interview.

The album, another DJ Drama and Mike & Keys production, drops Friday and features a star-studded lineup, including Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher, Boosie Badazz, Dom Kennedy, Eric Bellinger and Swizz Beatz.

It follows last year’s Every Movie Needs a Trailer, which arrived Dec. 5 and was intentionally made to be a soulful record.

“Man, where I’m at in my life and my music — and where the world is — I just feel like people need more soul. Everybody needs a little more love and a little less hate,” The Game says. “That’s something that gets lost sometimes.”

“You can still get your point across as an MC, talk about what you’ve seen and been through, but you don’t always have to be harsh. There’s a way to make music that touches people without compromising your messages,” he adds, crediting Mike & Keys for producing beats that are soulful and hard-hitting, with an emotional layer that matches his vision.

As for teaming up with DJ Drama, The Game says the collaboration came from realizing they’d never done a Gangsta Grillz tape together. “I sent him joints that weekend. He thought I was playing. Then he heard them and was like, ‘Let me cook,’” The Game recalls. “Once Drama gets on it, it turns into something else. Gangsta Grillz makes good music feel classic, even subpar stuff sounds official. With this music? It was a wrap.”

He says he’s been “playing this tape nonstop” and hasn’t received negative feedback, noting, “Even the usual trolls are like, ‘Yeah … but this tape is fire.’”

Zoe Saldaña has dethroned Scarlett Johansson as the highest-grossing movie star.

This switch up in the box office leaderboard is thanks to Saldaña’s starring role as Neytiri in the Avatar films.

The latest film in James Cameron‘s sci-fi franchise, Avatar: Fire and Ash, crossed $1.23 billion at the worldwide box office on Monday, according to The Numbers, a film industry data site that tracks box office revenue. This took Saldaña to the top of the list of highest-grossing movie stars, with a total of $16,859,193,100.

Johansson is currently at #2 on the list, with a grand total of $16,435,483,784, respectively.

In addition to playing the female lead in all three of Cameron’s Avatar films, Saldaña starred as Gamora in many Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including the juggernauts Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. She played the character in all three Guardians of the Galaxy films, as well.

Additionally, she has starred in a couple other major franchises — including three Star Trek movies and the 2003 smash-hit Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Johansson, who starred as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in the MCU, finds many of her highest-grossing titles tied to playing that superhero. Like Saldaña, Johansson also starred in Infinity War and Endgame, as well as the three other Avengers films, two Captain America movies and Iron Man 2.

After her starring role in 2025’s Jurassic World Rebirth, she went from third place to first on the highest-grossing movie star list. At the time, she had surpassed Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Downey Jr. for the title. Saldaña now surpasses all three of those actors.

The rest of the top 10 includes Chris Pratt, Tom Cruise, Chris Hemsworth, Vin Diesel, Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson.

Investments in Louisiana continue for 50 Cent and his G-Unit Film & Television Studios, which plans to develop three entertainment venues in northwest Shreveport, according to KSLA.

The more than $124 million project includes renovations to the former Stageworks facility, modernization of Millennium Studios — now known as G-Unit Studios — and construction of a permanent G-Dome in downtown Shreveport.

According to an economic impact study commissioned by G-Unit Studios, the development is expected to generate $18.8 billion in economic impact and more than $300 million in wages over the next 20 years, and support more than 6,000 jobs statewide during that period.

“North Louisiana is on the rise, and we’re thrilled to welcome yet another project that highlights the strength, talent and potential of this region,” Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry said. “This announcement is a clear sign that our momentum is real and that our wins span every corner of the state.”

50 Cent, who has a 30-year lease with the city of Shreveport for Millennium Studios, which he plans to transform into a hub for film, television and live events, said the project reflects his long-term commitment to Shreveport.

“By reinvesting in downtown Shreveport and upgrading existing assets to create state-of-the-art entertainment and production facilities, we are creating jobs, inspiring hope, and attracting new productions,” he said. “My goal is to turn northwest Louisiana into the premier destination for film, music, and live entertainment on a national scale.”

LED will also partner with G-Unit Studios “to provide up to $50 million in performance-based funding for eligible infrastructure and modernization improvements,” KSLA reports. The Shreveport Film & Entertainment Economic Development Corporation will oversee the project and state funding.

Billy Joel’s booking agent says Piano Man is ‘doing well,’ will ‘hopefully’ return to touring

Billy Joel recently returned to the stage for the first time since he was diagnosed with a brain condition, performing two songs in Florida with the Billy Joel tribute band Turnstiles. Now his longtime booking agent has shared his thoughts on whether or not the Piano Man might return to performing live regularly.

Billy announced last year he’d been diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus, which causes hearing, vision and balance problems. Billy’s agent, Dennis Arfa, who has known him since they were both 19 years old, told HITS Magazine that he first noticed Billy had a balance problem in February 2025 when he fell onstage during a show in Connecticut.

“We didn’t think anything of it at the moment. He got back up; he finished the show. He seemed fine on the plane going back,” Dennis noted. “But then he went for some tests and he saw he had some issues.”

Dennis then offered an update on Billy’s current health, saying, “He’s doing well. He’s doing his therapy, which has been very helpful. Hopefully he’ll make it back [to the stage].”

Asked if Billy hopes to tour again, Dennis told HITS, “Hopefully. His DNA is music and performing.”

Dennis said he only learned that particular fact about Billy while watching the HBO documentary about him, And So It Goes.

“Something I just discovered over the last several years about him was how much his DNA is music. We could be sitting on a plane and I’m thinking about future ticket sales. And I’m thinking, maybe he’s thinking the same thing. No. He’s thinking about music,” Dennis said.

“He’s got music in his head. Not every artist is that way, but he is so that way. As well as I know him, I didn’t know this to that degree.”
