Teddy Swims has no shortage of famous pals, but he says there’s one in particular he’d trust to babysit his 8-month-old son with partner Raiche Wright.

Speaking during the Live from E!: Grammys, Teddy was asked to choose a babysitter from among three of his celebrity friends: Kelly Clarkson, Meghan Trainor and country star Thomas Rhett. For Teddy, it was an considered choice.

“Thomas has already got his hands full,” Teddy said about his “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Woman” duet partner, who has four daughters and another baby on the way. “He’s got nothing but little girls. I don’t even know if he’s ready for my little boy. He’s a girl dad. So I have to take Thomas Rhett out.”

“I would probably say Meghan Trainor,” Teddy continued, noting that she and husband Daryl Sabara just welcomed their third child, daughter Mikey Moon Trainor.

“That is the best mother in the world right there,” said Teddy. “Meghan Trainor has just got it, man. She’s such a wonderful mother and they’re just wonderful people.”

Teddy also talked about performing the song “Without You” during the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute to Mariah Carey Friday. He told the crowd after his performance, “That was definitely a little terrifying.”

“I just put my sunglasses on and held my eyes closed. [Mariah’s] so close to looking at you while you’re actually butchering her song,” Teddy told E!. “It’s the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done to this day — the greatest singer of all time, singing her song way not as good as the best ever. So it was horrifying! Horrifying.”

We don’t blame you if you kahan’t keep up with all the Noah Kahan news.

In addition to announcing a new album, The Great Divide, releasing its title track and scheduling a stadium tour, the “Stick Season” artist has revealed that a new documentary is in the works.

The film, due out on Netflix later in 2026, follows Kahan as he begins work on his aforementioned new album, the follow-up to his 2022 breakout, Stick Season.

“When we started filming, I had no idea what we’d capture, only that Noah was determined to be honest about everything, especially the messy bits,” director Nick Sweeney tells Netflix. “He was in a strange in-between moment, caught in the collision between almost surreal fame and a quieter inner world he’d tried to keep offstage.”

“What we captured over the course of a year surprised me — moments that were thrilling, terrifying, [and] hilarious, often all at once,” Sweeney continues. “I’m so excited to partner with Netflix to invite viewers worldwide into Noah Kahan’s head as his world shifts beneath his feet.”

The Great Divide is due out April 24. Its title track dropped Friday, and the video premiered Sunday during the Grammys.

Kahan’s tour launches in June.

Epstein files: DOJ says it’s taken down ‘several thousand documents’ that mistakenly identified victims

(WASHINGTON) — Department of Justice officials say they have taken down “several thousand documents and media” from its website containing files on the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that “may have inadvertently included victim-identifying information due to various factors, including technical or human error,” according to a letter filed on the dockets of two federal judges Monday.

The government’s update comes after attorneys for Epstein’s victims asked the judges late Sunday to urgently order that the DOJ site be taken down because of redaction failures exposing the names or personal information, they said, of “nearly 100 individual survivors whose lives have been turned upside down by the DOJ’s latest release.”

The DOJ’s letter — submitted by Jay Clayton, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York — also notes that the Justice Department has “further expedited its processes” for responding to Epstein victims’ concerns and for removing documents to be reexamined for additional redactions.

The letter gives no indication that the government intends to pull the site offline, but it says they are continuing to engage with victims and their counsel to identify and remove materials, and are “making further enhancements” to best address victims’ concerns while also complying with the disclosure requirements of the Epstein Files Transparency Act that mandates the release of the files.

“As of the writing of this letter, all documents requested by victims or counsel to be removed by yesterday evening have been removed for further redaction, and the Department is continuing to process any new requests and to run its own searches to identify any other documents that may require further redaction,” Clayton wrote.  He noted that the DOJ had also removed a “substantial number” of documents identified independently by the department.

Clayton wrote that the DOJ has “iteratively revised its protocols” and has “teams of personnel” monitoring requests by victims and their lawyers.

The Justice Department is not “relying solely” on the victims to identify specific documents, Clayton said. A team worked through the weekend, according to the letter,  running “supplemental searches to identify missed redactions.”

“The first 24 hours of engagement on these issues, as well as the Department’s own internal review of its processes, following the release of documents on Friday led to significant enhancements to and streamlining of the Department’s processes for addressing victim concerns,” Clayton wrote.

Three million pages from the DOJ’s files on Epstein were being released to the public, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said Friday. Blanche said in total there were 6 million pages of Epstein documents in the DOJ’s files, but that nearly 3 million pages were being withheld for various reasons including the presence of child sexual abuse material and the obligation to protect victims’ rights.

Pretenders played their last show in London in July, and it appears frontwoman Chrissie Hynde is missing life on the road.

The singer gave fans an update on what’s been happening with her via social media, writing that she’s finding not being on tour “quite challenging.”

“I understand completely why people follow bands around on tour,” she says. “If I wasn’t in a band, it’s probably exactly what I’d been doing myself. Because nothing beats moving and seeing new places. I just love it and I miss it.”

But, she notes, “you’ve gotta come off the road once in a while so you can remember how to live. Slow down a bit. Recharge the batteries.”

As for when her hiatus from the road may end, she offers, “we have no plans for touring at the moment, but you’ll be the 1st to know when we do.”

“I’m wondering who Pretenders fans are following in our absence?” she adds. “Well, don’t get too cozy because we miss you.”

While Hynde has been off the road since the summer, she did release new music in the fall. She dropped the new solo album Duets Special in October, featuring collaborations with artists like Blondie’s Debbie Harry, The Killers Brandon FlowersGarbage’s Shirley Manson, Julian Lennon and more.

Gaza-Egypt border crossing at Rafah partially reopens after more than 2 years

Gaza-Egypt border crossing at Rafah partially reopens after more than 2 years

(LONDON) — The Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt has reopened to limited pedestrian traffic, Israeli authorities confirmed Monday.

The reopening is the first step in implementing the second phase of President Trump’s Gaza peace plan. The crossing has been completely closed to Palestinians in Gaza since May 2024. Egypt has not allowed unfettered access to its territory through the crossing.

“Following the arrival of the EUBAM teams on behalf of the European Union, the Rafah crossing has now opened to the movement of residents, for both entry and exit,” an Israeli security official told ABC News.

The first group of Palestinians returning from Egypt has arrived in the Gaza Strip. Khaled Megawer, Egypt’s North Sinai governor general, said 50 Palestinians were expected to cross into Egypt on Monday.

Raeed Al-Nemes, a Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) spokesperson, told ABC News that a total of 15 Palestinians – including five Palestinian patients and 10 relatives – left Gaza via the Rafah crossing on Monday.

“The health situation in Gaza is extremely dire,” he said, calling on international organizations and the National Gaza Administration Committee to pressure Israel to allow a larger number of patients to travel abroad for treatment.

On Sunday night, the Israeli Army released video and pictures of a new Israel Defense Forces security checkpoint it will use for Gazans entering Rafah. In a statement, the IDF said “forces have completed in recent days the establishment of the ‘Regavim’ designated checkpoint, which is managed by the security establishment in the area under IDF control.”

The IDF added, “The security establishment forces at the checkpoint check the identities of those entering against lists approved by the Israeli security establishment and carry out a strict inspection of their luggage.”

Israel said it will approve the names of all Gazans entering or leaving the area according to terms reached under Trump’s 20-point peace plan.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced Monday that 150 hospitals and approximately 300 ambulances were ready to receive injured and wounded Palestinians.

About 22,000 injured Gazans need medical evacuation, a Hamas spokesperson said Sunday.

On the other side of the crossing, about 10,700 Palestinians who have been evacuated to seek treatment outside Gaza through the World Health Organization will return to the territory after their treatment, the PRCS spokesman said.

Netflix has announced that it will release the animated series Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 on April 23.

This new series will welcome audiences back to Hawkins, Indiana, during the winter of 1985.

“Our heroes Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max have settled back into a normal life of D&D, snowball fights, and quiet days. But beneath the ice, something terrifying has awakened,” its official synopsis reads. “Could it be from the Upside Down? From the depths of Hawkins Lab? Or from somewhere else entirely? Our heroes must race to solve this mystery and save Hawkins in this untold story set in the Stranger Things universe.”

Brooklyn Davey Norstedt voices Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport takes on the voice of Max, Luca Diaz voices Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams is the voice of Lucas, Braxton Quinney plays Dustin, Ben Plessala is the voice of Will and Brett Gipson voices Hopper.

Additional voice cast members include Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Stranger Things creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer serve as executive producers on the show, as do Hilary Leavitt, Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. Eric Robles is its showrunner and executive producer.

“We want the audience to feel that these kids are in danger, the stakes are real, and bad things can happen to anyone. And things do happen that are very scary in a sense, so that really makes the danger for the kids that much more tangible,” Robles said in a statement. “We were able to freeze time and really go on these never before told adventures with them in this timeline.”

Charli XCX is currently in movie theaters with her film The Moment, but soon she’ll be on your TV — in a Super Bowl ad.

Charli reteamed with The Moment director Aidan Zamiri and co-star Rachel Sennott for an ad for Poppi, a low-calorie, low-sugar soda that contains prebiotics. Charli posted photos on Instagram of herself and Rachel promoting the ad. She’s wearing a “Rachel is the moment” tee, while Rachel sports a “Charli is the moment” shirt. Charli also posted several behind-the-scenes shots that appear to be from the shoot, including one that shows Rachel with a flamethrower.

“I love working with Aidan and Rachel. We’ve done so much stuff together now. … It’s just so easy to work with them, and it’s always so fun,” Charli tells Cosmopolitan“When we were approached to do this ad for poppi, and we knew it was gonna have to be this colorful, bright, chaotic madness, I knew I wanted them to be a part of it.”

When asked if she has a favorite Poppi flavor, Charli tells Cosmo, “To be honest, I was drinking all of the different flavors all day on set, and they were delicious. The vibes were pretty crazy, especially with Rachel having a flamethrower. It got quite hot in the room, and it really did feel like a genuinely wild party.”

You’ll be able to see the results on Feb. 8 during the big game.
