Is this love? Sammy Hagar suggests spending Valentine’s Day watching his Best of All Worlds concert film

Sammy Hagar has a suggestion on how his fans should celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The rocker took to Instagram to share his idea, which includes staying at home Saturday to watch the director’s cut of his Best of All Worlds concert film, shot live at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas.

“All you love birds out there, I don’t know what you plan on doing for Valentine’s Day but you better have something planned,” he said in his video post. He then discussed how hard it is to get into his favorite restaurants on the romantic holiday, so he offered up another idea.

“So, what you do is you cook something nice for your honey, mix up some cocktails … and you check out Veeps,” he said. “Take ‘em to a Sammy Hagar concert right in your own home … and you don’t have to get dressed up.”

The Best of All Worlds director’s cut includes never-before-seen interviews with Sammy and enhanced audio. It will be available Saturday at Veeps.com.

Hagar will return to the Park MGM for a new set of Best of All Worlds Tour Residency dates March 11. He will then launch a new U.S. leg of the Best of All Worlds tour on June 13 in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by a U.K. leg starting July 4 in Manchester.

Maddox Batson’s new song, “If I See Her Again,” is the latest in a stream of new music that started in January with “Any Other Night,” with more tracks to come. He kicks off his Live Worldwide Tour Tuesday in Ft. Lauderdale.

John F. Kennedy Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s love story examined in new special

Close friends and contemporaries of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy are speaking out about the couple’s love story in a new special examining their lives and tragic deaths.

John and Carolyn | Love, Beauty and Loss, airing Tuesday, Feb. 17 on ABC, features interviews with close friends of the late couple, as well as their contemporaries and the journalists who covered their lives.

“From the very beginning, they had a volatile relationship, and unfortunately, the cameras were always there recording,” one person says in the trailer for the special, which dropped Feb. 12 on Good Morning America.

The couple’s lives were cut short when they died in a fatal plane crash in July 1999, along with another passenger, Bessette Kennedy’s older sister Lauren. The accident occurred when the light aircraft that Kennedy was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.

“There just wasn’t enough time,” a friend of the couple says in the special’s trailer.

John and Carolyn | Love, Beauty and Loss, airs Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 10 p.m. ET on ABC and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.

In addition to new interviews, the special also features newly unearthed photographs of Bessette Kennedy and rare footage from the couple’s 1996 wedding, according to ABC News Studios, which produced the special.

The special on the Kennedys coincides with the release of Love Story: John F Kennedy Jr & Carolyn Bessette, a Ryan Murphy-produced scripted series about the couple, airing on FX.

In John and Carolyn | Love, Beauty and Loss, viewers will also go behind the scenes of the FX series and see new interviews with its stars, as well as its executive producers, costume designer and production designer.

Disney is the parent company of Disney+, Hulu and ABC.

Miley Cyrus teases ‘Hannah Montana’ memories ahead of 20th anniversary

Miley Cyrus has spoken quite a bit about how she wants to mark the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana in March by doing something special — and it appears that she’s in the process of figuring that out right now.

Miley posted several photos to Instagram on Friday and captioned her post, “Going through the archives… so many memories xoMC.” One picture showed her in full Hannah regalia backstage at a concert, sitting on an equipment case. Another photo was a close-up of a blue satin shirt with the bedazzled initials “HM” on it, and a third photo showed a cardboard box full of Hannah Montana scripts.

Miley told Billboard in December that she had a specific goal for the Hannah Montana anniversary, and it was all about the fans.

“What I wanna do is really kinda honor just the longevity of the relationship that we’ve built,” she said. “For me, I love looking back at the growth of both of us, because it’s very rare that someone grows up with their fanbase.”

Miley also said she wanted to honor the fact that, as she put it, “Hannah Montana, it outgrew the kind of fantasy. It became the reality of my life. And something that was just about kind of a regular girl getting to have this extraordinary life by being almost someone that she’s not, and then turning my life into having this life because of being who I really am and authenticity. … [I want] to celebrate that.”

Earlier this year, Miley told Variety she was “working hard” on the Hannah Montana anniversary. When pressed to tease any details, she laughed and said, referring to her hairstyle, “You see the bangs.”

Weezer collects all color albums in box set

Weezer is collecting all of their color-themed self-titled albums into one box set.

Since their 1994 debut effort came to be known as the Blue Album, Rivers Cuomo and company have put out five more records named after colors: 2001’s Green, 2008’s Red, 2016’s White, and 2019’s Teal and Black.

All six of those albums will be released on colored vinyl in a package dubbed the Weezer Coloring Book, which will begin shipping in the U.S. on April 10.

Here’s a special voice New Yorkers might hear on public transit

If your Valentine’s Day plans include hopping on a subway or bus or train in New York City over the weekend, your ears will be in for a special treat.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority tapped Harlem’s own Teyana Taylor for a unique love day collaboration in which her voice is the one that will be heard through public transportation speakers.

Taylor recorded Valentine’s Day messages on Friday, while MTA crews placed heart-shaped decals at one of the Times Square stations, put floating hearts in the TrainTime app and handed out heart-shaped stickers to riders.

Over on her Instagram, Taylor shared footage of herself in a recording booth and opened up about the role public transportation played in her life.

“The thing people don’t know about me — I used to be in this girl group when I was like 8, called the Sunshine Girls and we used to perform on the train.”

She added, “Not only did I get where I needed to go fast, they clapped and they tipped. It’s free to clap, it’s free to uplift others.”

The unique campaign is in honor of “couples who found love in the transit system,” says the MTA. “So don’t let the middle seat get between you and the person who just might be the love of your life.”

Taylor Swift’s ‘Opalite’ tops UK chart; producer reveals Travis Kelce helped hook up song’s remix

We’ll find out next week if Taylor Swift has topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “Opalite,” but she’s already done so in the U.K.

The song, which premiered exclusively on Spotify and Apple Feb. 6, has risen to #1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart. This marks the first time any Taylor album has produced two #1 singles on that chart: in addition to “Opalite,” “The Fate of Ophelia” was #1 for seven weeks last year.

“Opalite,” which is one of the most popular songs on her latest album, is Taylor’s sixth U.K. #1. The others are “Look What You Made Me Do,” “Anti-Hero,” “Is It Over Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “Fortnight.”

Meanwhile, a text chain has revealed how Taylor found one of the people who remixed “Opalite” for her new series of collectible CD singles. Turns out her fiancée, Travis Kelce, had the hookup. The remixer, Chris Lake, is a house music DJ and producer. He posted his exchange with Travis, who’s a big fan of the genre.

“Just heard you and Taylor were listening to my tracks. … I’m going to take a crack at remixing this track for [Taylor],” Chris wrote. Travis replied, “You’re a legend bro love everything you come out with. … Can’t wait to see how you put it together man.”

When Chris sent him the remix a few days later, Travis wrote, “It’s so good dawg, I’m gonna be rippin this s*** every car ride!!” Travis added, “She loves it too!! She said her teams gonna reach out asap!”

Chris captioned the exchange, “When @killatrav & @taylorswift hit you about an official remix.. you get it done :).”

Taylor reposted the exchange on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Confirmed, Travis is my in-house house guy.”

Paul McCartney releases new video for Wings classic ‘Let ‘Em In’

Paul McCartney has released a new video for the classic Wings track “Let ‘Em In,” which appeared on their 1976 album, Wings at the Speed of Sound.

The visualizer video features archival footage of McCartney and the band, along with drawings and animation.

A new Wings anthology, simply titled Wings, was released in November. The set, personally overseen by McCartney, featured a remastered version of “Let ‘Em In,” as well as such Wings classics as “Band on the Run,” “Live and Let Die,” “Jet” and “Silly Love Songs.”

That same month, McCartney also released a new book about his Wings era, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run.

And next up, McCartney’s post-Beatles career, including his time with Wings, will be the subject of a new documentary. Man on the Run will hit theaters for one day only on Feb. 19 and will debut on Prime Video Feb. 27. The movie’s soundtrack, Man on the Run – Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack, will be released the same day.

Former CNN journalist Don Lemon pleads not guilty to charges in Minnesota church incident

(ST. PAUL, Minn.) — Former CNN journalist Don Lemon pleaded not guilty on Friday to federal civil rights charges in connection with an incident in which anti-ICE protesters disrupted a service at a Minnesota church.

Lemon appeared in federal court in St. Paul before Magistrate Judge Douglas Micko, following his arrest in Los Angeles last month.

Missing Texas college student found safe, campus police say

(DALLAS) — A missing Texas college student has been found safe, police said Friday.

Brianna Arango, 21, a student at Southern Methodist University, was reported missing on Thursday, according to police.

A family member contacted SMU Police at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday to report that Arango did not meet with them as planned earlier that afternoon, campus police said. She had a class at 1 p.m. that she also did not attend, police said.

She was last seen that day on the Dallas campus around 12:30 p.m. near Harold Simmons Hall, according to the Southern Methodist University Police Department.

SMU Police said in an advisory on Thursday that they were working to locate her and were “treating this as a matter of concern” while asking for the campus community’s help in locating her.

Campus police updated Friday that they had located Arangao and she is safe.

The incident remains under investigation, police said.

“We know this situation was concerning for many in our community, and we are grateful for your attention and assistance,” SMU Police said. “This remains an active investigation, and law enforcement is limited in the details that can be shared at this time.”
