Miranda Lambert’s new single, “Crisco,” doesn’t officially drop for another week, but it’s already Loretta Lynn approved.
“You know the Lynn family loves some Crisco!” the late icon’s relatives wrote on her official account. “@mirandalambert we can’t wait to hear your new single when it comes out on May 15th. Mom would tell you that Crisco will do you right every time!”
Of course, the last line echoes Loretta’s tagline from her legendary commercials for the product during the ’80s. It’s also accompanied by a screen grab of her holding the Crisco can, alongside Miranda with a bedazzled version, since both the sound and the visuals of the new song play on the Crisco/disco rhyme.
Loretta presented Miranda with her first CMA female vocalist trophy in 2010, the same year the two collaborated on a new version of Loretta’s signature song with Sheryl Crow for the Coal Miner’s Daughter tribute album.
Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming Unraveled Tour originally had 65 dates, but has now expanded quite a bit.
As Billboardnotes, Liv has added seven more shows in London, two more in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and one more in Paris. But she’s also added a bunch more shows in the U.S.
There’s one extra show in Boston in October, five new dates in L.A. in January and five additional shows in Brooklyn, New York, in February. The tour, with opening acts that include The Last Dinner Party, Wolf Alice and Grace Ives, has the same start date — Sept. 25 in Hartford, Connecticut — but it will now conclude May 10 in London.
All tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday at 12 p.m. local time on Olivia’s website.
The Unraveled Tour comes in support of Liv’s new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, due out June 12.

Pierce the Veil is headlining the 2026 Four Chord Music Festival, taking place Sept. 25-26 in Pittsburgh.
The bill also includes fellow headliner Knocked Loose, as well as Underoath, We Came as Romans, Superheaven, Militarie Gun, Motion City Soundtrack and Mayday Parade, among others.
Early bird tickets are on sale now, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
Pierce the Veil’s other upcoming touring plans include playing the Sonic Temple, Governors Ball, Louder than Life, Shaky Knees and Aftershock festivals and dates opening for My Chemical Romance and Guns N’ Roses. They’re also headlining Petco Park in their hometown of San Diego in September.

Mick Jagger got a chance to show off his comedic chops when he stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night.
The Rolling Stones frontman took part in a comedy sketch, “Real People Fake Arms.” Setting up the premise, Fallon claimed to have starred in a British soap opera in the ’90s called Jacob’s Patience, noting that his co-star was difficult because he wouldn’t use his arms in any of the scenes. Instead, he used mannequin arms, so the show’s director made everyone else use them as well.
Fallon noted that while it sounded crazy, “if you watched it you’d never be able to tell.”
He then threw to a clip of the show, where, of course, you could totally tell. The clip showed Jimmy at a jewelry store called Hackney Diamonds, after The Stones’ 2023 album, with Mick playing the sales person.
“Please to meet you, I hope you guess my name,” Jagger said as he introduced himself to Fallon, a reference to The Stones’ classic “Sympathy for the Devil.”
The sketch then captured Jagger showing Fallon some jewelry pieces for a Mother’s Day gift for Fallon’s wife, all the while using his awkward mannequin arms, which led to several absurd interactions, including Jagger “booping” Fallon a few times.
There was also another Rolling Stones reference, when Fallon noted he couldn’t afford one of the suggested pieces and said, “You can’t always get what you want.”
Jagger’s appearance comes just one day after The Rolling Stones announced their new album, Foreign Tongues, is coming out July 10. Keith Richards is expected to stop by The Tonight Show Thursday, and Ronnie Wood is making an appearance on May 13.

No Doubt launched their residency at the high-tech Las Vegas Sphere on Wednesday with a set focused on their classic 1995 album, Tragic Kingdom.
According to Setlist.fm, the show included renditions of songs including “Don’t Speak,” “Just a Girl” and “Spiderwebs,” as well as deeper cuts such as “The Climb,” which Gwen Stefani and company hadn’t played live since 1997.
To accompany the music, No Doubt took advantage of Sphere’s giant LED screen, the largest in the world, and displayed unique visuals. You can check out clips from the show via Sphere’s Instagram.
No Doubt’s Sphere residency includes 17 more shows scheduled into mid-June.

Selena Gomez has been the subject of a documentary, and so has her Only Murders in the Building co-star Steve Martin. Now, their other co-star, Martin Short, has gotten the documentary treatment and Selena is telling her fans to watch it as soon as they can.
Selena posted a photo on Instagram of herself at a New York screening of the Netflix doc Marty, Life Is Short, and added a collection of photos of herself with the Canadian comedy icon. She wrote, “This man who doesn’t have social media is truly outstandingly witty, smart and has given the most wonderful attributes to our world of comedy. Some may not know much that follow me. But Martin Short is nothing short of a legend.”
She added, “His outlook on life is simply joyful. I cried, laughed and empathized his entire story. Check it out on @netflix now please. Worth every minute. -thank you Marty for your inspiring and tremendous heart that makes me forever happy.”
Selena attended the LA screening with her husband Benny Blanco, and guests including Kate Hudson, Billy Crystal, Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Kimmel and Marty’s fellow Canadian stars Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin and Paul Shaffer. Levy and Martin are both in the documentary, as are Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, the late Catherine O’Hara, John Mulaney and more. It debuts May 12.
(NEW YORK) — At least three tornadoes hit Mississippi overnight with at least 17 injuries reported, officials said.
Some of the hardest-hit population centers in Mississippi are Purvis and Brookhaven, as well as a mobile home park in Bogue Chitto, authorities said. Baseball-sized hail was also reported in parts of the state as well as Alabama.
Flooding was also reported in parts of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, especially in and around Montgomery, where the State Capitol Building was evacuated during a special session debate on redistricting.
A tornado watch is in effect until 10 a.m. ET on Thursday for the Florida Panhandle and southwest Georgia.
Mississippi has seen 62 tornadoes so far this year before Wednesday, all of them EF0 or EF1 strength.
As a cold front slowly sinks into the region, there is a chance that some storms could produce more damaging wind and tornadoes.
Over the next few days, widespread rounds of rain are expected to bring 1 to 4 inches throughout the South, which is dealing with a serious drought.
The National Weather Service Office in Jackson, Mississippi, will be conducting surveys on Thursday to confirm tornadoes along a major tornado path in Franklin, Lincoln and Lawrence counties as well as from Purvis to south of Hattiesburg, where there are several damage reports.

(WASHINGTON) — The Department of Justice is investigating a series of suspiciously timed trades in the oil market just ahead of major announcements by President Donald Trump and a top Iranian official about the war in Iran, sources told ABC News.
The DOJ, along with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, is probing at least four of these trades where traders made a total of more than $2.6 billion betting that oil prices would drop right before they did.
The DOJ and CFTC have not commented on the trades.
ABC News obtained the data of the four trades from the London Stock Exchange Group.
On March 23, 15 minutes before Trump announced that he would delay threatened attacks on Iran’s power grid, traders bet more than $500 million that oil prices would fall.
On April 7, hours ahead of a temporary ceasefire announced by Trump, traders bet $960 million that oil prices would fall.
On April 17, 20 minutes before Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted on social media saying that the Strait of Hormuz was open, traders bet $760 million that oil prices would fall.
On April 21, 15 minutes before Trump announced he would extend the ceasefire, traders placed a series of bets worth $430 million that oil prices would fall.
The series of oil trades was first reported by Reuters and the data from LSEG does not indicate any identities behind these trades and does not prove individuals were trading based on insider information.

(LONDON) — Russia’s Defense Ministry reported a major Ukrainian drone attack overnight into Thursday morning, with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reporting that dozens of Ukrainian craft were intercepted while flying toward the capital.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Telegram that its forces intercepted at least 427 Ukrainian drones and through Thursday morning. Moscow only publishes the number of Ukrainian drones and other projectiles it claims to have intercepted.
Sobyanin said that as of Thursday afternoon, at least 41 drones were shot down while flying toward the capital. Emergency responders, he said in posts to Telegram, were responding to several sites where falling drone debris was reported.
Ukraine’s air force said that Russia also continued its long-range attacks overnight. The air force said on Telegram that Moscow launched 102 drones into the country overnight, of which 92 were intercepted or suppressed. Eight drones impacted across six locations, the air force said.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Services said that at least four people were injured by Russian strikes in the southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region, one other person was injured by a Russian attack in the northeastern Sumy region and seven people — among them two children — were injured in Kharkiv.
Cross-border attacks have continued despite both Kyiv and Moscow announcing their own rival temporary ceasefires.
Russian President Vladimir Putin this week announced a unilateral truce on May 8 and May 9 to coincide with annual “Victory Day” celebrations, which mark the anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
Zelenskyy then said Ukraine would observe its own 24-hour ceasefire beginning at midnight on May 5. Russia did not partake in the truce, continuing missile and drone strikes across Ukraine as well as frontline activities.
Zelenskyy said in a Wednesday statement, “We can confirm that the Russian side has derailed the ceasefire regime,” adding that Kyiv would decide on possible subsequent actions.
“Ukraine clearly stated that it would act in kind, taking into account Russia’s persistent appeals through the media and social networks asking for a ceasefire during the Moscow parade,” Zelenskyy said, referring to the planned military event in Moscow’s Red Square on May 9.
Russia’s Defense Ministry warned that it would “launch a retaliatory, massive missile strike on the center of Kyiv” if Ukraine attacked the Victory Day celebrations.
On Thursday, Zelenskyy again criticized Moscow’s continued attacks. “Russia continues killing people while being completely irrationally concerned only about a few hours of silence in one part of Moscow,” he said in a statement, referring to the May 9 celebrations.
“Ukraine will act fairly — day by day. We proposed silence beginning at midnight on May 6. Yesterday and today, this regime has been violated by Russia,” Zelenskyy added.
“In a mirror response and in reply to Russian strikes, our long-range sanctions will follow; in response to Russia’s readiness to move toward diplomacy, we will move along the path of diplomacy,” he added.
