Jack Osbourne has shared an update on the upcoming biopic about his father, the late Ozzy Osbourne.

“I can tell you this, we are moving ahead,” Jack said in a livestream on Tuesday. “I was on calls today about it, the script is, like, right there. We are good, this movie will absolutely happen.”

Jack added that the movie probably won’t come out until 2028.

“But you never know,” he said. “We’re full steam ahead, we’re about to start going out and getting a director attached.”

The Ozzy biopic was officially announced in 2021, and is said to focus on his relationship with his wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne.

Fans who attended the evening performance of the Broadway musical & Juliet on Tuesday night were rewarded with a mini-*NSYNC reunion.

Joey Fatone, who has appeared in & Juliet on Broadway and in the touring production of the show, was in the house on Tuesday night to lead a special singalong. During a performance of *NSYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me,” featuring Joey and the whole cast, none other than Lance Bass popped up at the end to join in the fun. Of course, the audience went nuts.

“It’s Gonna Be Me” is actually a regular part of & Juliet, because the entire show is built around the hits of Max Martin, including “Roar,” “Since U Been Gone,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” “…Baby One More Time,” “I Want It That Way” and more.

According to People, Lance almost didn’t make it, because he was seeing another musical, Titanique, in a different theater. But since that show was just 90 minutes long, Lance was able to run across Times Square and arrive just in time for the performance.

“I almost got hit by six taxicabs, but I made it by the last note!” Lance said in an Instagram video.

To bring the story full circle, Joey is actually a co-producer on Titanique, along with *NSYNC’s JC Chasez and others.

As previously reported, Joey and Lance are co-hosting a new reality competition series on E! this summer called Cocktail Wars, where mixologists face off against each other to win $10,000.

On This Day, May 13, 1970 …

The Beatles documentary Let It Be opened in New York City.

Directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, the film took Beatles fans inside the studio as they recorded their album Let It Be.

The documentary, which opened in London one week later, included footage from The Beatles’ January 1969 Apple Corps rooftop concert, which was their final public performance as a band. The film was released one month after the Beatles officially broke up.

Footage from Let It Be was used in Peter Jackson’s 2021 Emmy-winning docuseries, The Beatles: Get Back, which aired on Disney+. A restored version of the documentary also debuted on Disney+ in May 2024, which was the first time the movie was available in over 50 years.

The song samples indie electronic duo Sweet Trip and follows their 2013 collaboration, “Mind of a Stoner.” Wiz will join mgk on the second leg of his North American lost Americana tour, kicking off on Friday.

In a recent TIME cover story, The Odyssey director Christopher Nolan explained why he cast Travis Scott as a bard in the movie. “I cast him because I wanted to nod towards the idea that this story has been handed down as oral poetry, which is analogous to rap,” he said.

Olivia Rodrigo was the surprise guest Tuesday at Disney’s annual Upfront presentation in New York City — and she brought a special guest onstage to sing with her.

As WABC-TV reports, host Jimmy Kimmel and his 11-year-old daughter, Jane, introduced Olivia at the end of the event, during which Disney presented its new slate of programming to advertisers. She performed her new single “drop dead,” as well as “good 4 u” and “get him back!”

As captured in fan-shot video, during “get him back!” Olivia ran into the audience and brought Jane onstage, and the two sang the song together, danced and jumped up and down.

Olivia’s presence at the event wasn’t a surprise given her Disney history: Before she became a global pop superstar, she starred in the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark, followed by her star-making stint in the Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
