The official teaser trailer for the second season of Beef is here.
Netflix has shared the first trailer for season 2 of the popular Emmy-winning anthology series from A24 and creator Lee Sung Jin.
This season features a brand-new story with a completely different cast of characters. Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny star in season 2. The incident that sparks the new “beef” is a Gen Z couple witnessing an alarming fight between their millennial boss and his wife.
“Newly-engaged Ashley Miller (Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their General Manager, Joshua Martín (Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Mulligan),” according to its official synopsis. “Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh Jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang Ho).”
The teaser trailer begins with Issac’s Joshua Martín giving a voice-over monologue.
“Our members, do you know why they pay so much to come here?” he says. “The courts, the exclusivity, the discretion. People need a place where they can feel safe. Where they can pretend everything is OK. It’s the land of make believe.”
The cast also includes Seoyeon Jang as Eunice, William Fichtner as Troy, Mikaela Hoover as Ava and the musician BM in his acting debut as Woosh.
There will be eight 30-minute episodes in season 2. Lee returns as its creator, showrunner and executive producer. The first season’s stars, Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, also return to executive produce season 2, joined by Mulligan, Isaac, Melton and Spaeny as executive producers.

(WASHINGTON) — The House failed to adopt a war powers resolution that attempted to curtail President Donald Trump’s military actions in Iran.
It failed by a vote of 212-219. Republican Reps. Thomas Massie and Warren Davidson bucked GOP leaders by voting in favor; four Democrats voted against the resolution, including Reps. Greg Landsman, Henry Cuellar and Jared Golden.
The resolution, which only expresses the sentiment of Congress, called on the president to terminate the use of U.S. armed forces in hostilities against Iran or any part of the Iranian government or military unless a declaration of war or authorization to use military force is enacted.
The measure was non-binding and not subject to the president’s signature or veto.
Speaker Mike Johnson argued Wednesday that the United States is “not at war” but only engaged in a “defensive operation” in Iran.
“We’re not at war right now,” Johnson told reporters at the Capitol. “We’re in — four days into a very specific, clear mission and operation.”
Later on Wednesday, Trump contradicted Johnson, repeatedly referring to the conflict in Iran as a “war” hours after Johnson said it wasn’t.
Sitting next to Johnson during a roundtable on energy prices, Trump said “we’re doing very well on — on the war front, to put it mildly.”
Johnson had said that the “passage of a war powers resolution right now would be a terrible, dangerous idea.”
“It would empower our enemies. It would kneecap our own forces, and it would take the ability of the U.S. military and the commander in chief away from completing this critical mission to keep everybody safe,” he said Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Senate Democrats failed to meet a 51-vote threshold on an alternate Iran war powers resolution sponsored by Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine and Republican Sen. Rand Paul. The resolution failed behind a 47-53 tally.
Where in the world is Dustin Lynch these days? Well, it’s probably not the place you would expect: South America.
“Annual New Country boys trip is underway!” he posted on his socials. “Argentina is off to a great start. Amazing people.”
For the past few years, Dustin and two of his longtime friends have made a tradition of visiting a place they’ve never been. That’s why they’ve named it their “New Country boys trip.” Typically, they’ve gone around the first of the year, though obviously it’s later this year.
Dustin also included a carousel of photos of the sights in Argentina with his friends.
While we don’t know how long the trip will be, we do know that Dustin has to be back at work March 13, when he plays the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta with Corey Kent and Meghan Patrick.

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are headed to Sin City for a residency that will be filled with “Nothing But Hits.”
Their Nothing But Hits residency will feature six performances at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in April. The shows will mark their first time celebrating and performing songs from their discography onstage.
“We’ve been fortunate to do so many incredible things in our careers,” Jimmy Jam said in a statement. “But we’ve never had the chance to perform our catalog live. Being able to share these songs — and the stories behind them — in a space like Voltaire is going to be special.”
“The show will feel like traveling through the soundtrack of your life,” Terry Lewis added. “It’s not just the music — it’s the memories and moments connected to it.”
He told Good Morning America fans should expect “a lot of hits [and] a lot of fun,” noting, “You never know who’s gonna show up and do something.”
The Nothing But Hits residency begins on April 17, with shows also scheduled on April 18, 22, 24, 25 and 26. Ruben Studdard and Shanice Wilson will join as special guests.
Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis have written and produced hits for artists including Michael Jackson, Prince, Usher, Mariah Carey, New Edition, Toni Braxton and H.E.R. They co-wrote and produced nearly every track on Janet Jackson’s Control album, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

Kenny Chesney leads off the new season of the One by Willie podcast focusing on his love for Willie Nelson’s 1976 recording of “That Lucky Old Sun.”
Of course, Kenny rerecorded it with Willie in 2008 and also made it the title track of one of his albums.
The podcast, which starts its seventh season on March 11, takes a notable fan of the Red-Headed Stranger and lets them explore their love for one Willie song of their choosing.
“We started this project because we thought listening to Willie records with cool, smart people would be fun,” host John Spong says. “And it definitely has been.”
“But it’s turned into a much deeper look at him,” he continues, “with three main takeaways: As an artist, Willie Nelson found success by being true to himself. As a person, he never wavered from being true to the people around him. And as for the songs themselves, every single one of them comes with a great story.”
Jamey Johnson, Bill Anderson, Taj Mahal and Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart are just some of the people who’ll be part of the seventh season.
Miranda Lambert, John Mellencamp, Whoopi Goldberg, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Vince Gill have all done episodes in the past.
You can listen to One by Willie free on all major podcast platforms.
Serpent from Eden features Menza’s longtime friend, guitarist John “Gumby” Goodwin, who was searching through some old tapes when he uncovered unreleased material Menza had recorded.
“To his amazement, he discovered he had enough tracks, from so many recording sessions, to create an entire new album with Menza playing drums on every song,” a press release reads.
The Serpent from Eden album will also feature contributions from former Megadeth members David Ellefson and Chris Poland.
Menza drummed in Megadeth from 1989 to 1998, and played on albums including 1990’s Rust in Peace and 1992’s Countdown to Extinction. He died in 2016 at age 51.

Interpol has new music in the works.
The “Evil” band says in an Instagram post, “We are pleased to announce that we have new music coming soon!”
“We are very excited about it and look forward to sharing it with you,” the post adds.
Interpol has also announced a new fill-in drummer for Sam Fogarino, who’s been absent from the band’s live lineup since undergoing cervical spine surgery in 2023. Urian Hackney, who’s played with Iggy Pop and The Armed, will man the kit for Interpol’s upcoming tour, which launches Saturday in Miami.
“Look him up,” Interpol says of Hackney. “He’s amazing.”
Interpol adds that Fogarino plays on and co-wrote their upcoming album, but is “still not available to join us on tour for the time being.”
The most recent Interpol album is 2022’s The Other Side of Make-Believe.

The death of singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka has prompted his fans to revisit his music.
Billboardreports that in the four days following Sedaka’s Feb. 27 death at the age of 86, there was a 708% increase in streams of his tunes. His catalog clocked a total of 2.4 million on-demand U.S. streams.
The song getting the biggest boost was his classic “Laughter in the Rain,” which was a #1 hit for Sedaka. There were 515,000 streams in the days following Sedaka’s death, or an increase of 505%. That was followed by “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do,” also a #1 hit, which had 307,000 streams for an increase of 453%.
Sedaka was the co-writer on the Captain and Tennille hit “Love Will Keep Us Together.” Although their version of the song saw a 15% bump in streams, his recording of the track nabbed 55,000 streams for an increase of 1,811%.
