(NEW YORK) — One sibling rivalry will be on full display at Super Bowl 57.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce will face off against his older brother Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, making NFL history as the first brothers to face off in a Super Bowl.

Ahead of the big game on Sunday, the pair sat down to record an episode of their joint podcast, “New Heights,” with their parents Ed and Donna Kelce as guests, who have had a front row seat to the matchup for decades.

“Who are you talking to first after the game? The winner or the loser?” Travis Kelce asked his dad.

“Probably the loser,” he answered.

When asked for the reason why, Ed Kelce said, “Somebody’s gonna feel pretty crummy and I wanna be with him — initially.”

“I will be on the field for you, Travis. Jason will have his family on the field. So, no, I won’t be on the field for Jason,” his mom said.

The parents are making NFL history with both sons on the gridiron for the championship game as a petition has been circulating for Donna to do the coin flip before kickoff.

“There are so many legends and people that have that have their blood, sweat and tears on their field and for a mom that’s never played football — I don’t think that’s the right place for her to be,” she said.

“I think you’re discounting moms right here,” Jason Kelce said.

“I don’t know if I would be a distraction. Would I be a distraction out there for you for you guys?” she asked.

Jason said, simply, “No.”

Internally, she will be beaming with maternal pride on Sunday, saying she rooted for this moment.

“Absolutely. I want both of you guys to get into the Super Bowl,” she said.

“Basically what it is, is I really wanted just pure joy. The first two Super Bowls, the ones that you [both] were in. It was like tense. We wanted you to win so badly. It meant so much to get that one under your belt,” Donna Kelce said of Jason Kelce’s 2017 win with the Eagles and Travis’ 2020 win with the Chiefs.

“This one is just going to be pure joy, pure fun,” she said. “How can it get any better than this? It’s going to be — the best day ever. Except for when … both you guys were born, it can’t get any better.”

(PHILADELPHIA) — The Kelce brother’s Super Bowl fan section just keeps growing.

NFL players Jason and Travis Kelce are brothers, but on Feb. 12, they will be competitors during the Super Bowl LVII championship.

On an episode of their podcast, Jason Kelce, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, spoke to his younger brother, Travis Kelce, a player on the Kansas City Chiefs, and said his wife is bringing a special guest to the big game: her OB-GYN.

“Kylie’s bringing her OB because she’s going to be 38 weeks pregnant at the game. That could be a Super Kelce Bowl. If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted,” Jason Kelce said on “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.”

Jason Kelce’s wife of five years, Kylie McDevitt, announced in September 2022 that they are expecting a third child, a baby girl. The couple already has two daughters, Wyatt, 3, and Eliotte, 22 months.

Jason and Travis Kelce are the first brothers to ever compete against each other in a Super Bowl. Both are offensive players for their respective teams, so they won’t be on the field at the same time during the competition, but they are both looking to claim their second Super Bowl titles.

Their parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, will also be in attendance, so while the Kelce family cheering section figures out seating arrangements, the question remains: Who’s going to root for who?

“My mom can’t lose. She’s gonna lose and she’s gonna win. She’ll focus on the positive, which is wrong because she should be there for the brother who loses,” Jason Kelce said during the podcast episode. “She’s a front-runner, it’s fine.”

(NEW YORK) — Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are not be together anymore, but the model has nothing but love for her ex-husband.

Bündchen, 42, shared well wishes for Brady and for his future in the comment section of his Instagram video announcing his retirement Wednesday.

“Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life,” she wrote with the praying hands emoji.

Brady, who has won seven Super Bowls, announced his retirement a year ago after 22 seasons in the NFL. A month later, he unretired and returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” Brady said in his video on Wednesday. “You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year.”

“Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream,” he added. “I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Brady also shared memories on his Instagram story of moments on the field with his teammates, and photos with his kids and his family, including one of Bündchen and their kids.

Brady and Bündchen, who announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage, share two children together, Benjamin Rein and Vivian Lake. Brady also has a son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.

Along with Bündchen’s comment, many flooded Brady’s comments with goat emojis and well wishes, including Serena Williams, Russell Wilson, Kate Hudson, JJ Watt, Derek Jeter and David Beckham.

“Congrats on an unbelievable career. It was fun to watch!!” Jeter wrote.

“I’m getting teary eyed watching this. Sad to see you go,” Williams added. “Welcome to the retirement world… again.”

(NEW YORK) — Tom Brady announced his retirement — again — in a video on Twitter on Wednesday morning.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” the 45-year-old quarterback said in the video. “You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year.”

“Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing,” Brady said.

The NFL great said his retirement this time is “for good.” He briefly retired after last season only to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for one more season.

On Feb. 1, 2022, when Brady first announced his retirement after 22 seasons in the NFL, he said, “I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things.”

One month later, Brady unretired, and said he was returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs struggled much of the season, including losing 5 of 6 games for a stretch in September and October.

The Bucs rallied late in the season to win the NFC South despite a losing record, but were soundly defeated by the Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs.

In October 2022, Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s divorce was announced. Bündchen wrote, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”

Brady and Bündchen had been married for 13 years and share two children. Brady also has an older son from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.

Brady spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots, winning six Super Bowls. He then spent three seasons playing for the Buccaneers, leading them to a Super Bowl win in 2021.

He had one of his worst seasons in 2022, with 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His 52.4 QBR was the lowest of his career since the stat began in 2006.

Nonetheless, Brady will go down as the most prolific quarterback in NFL history, with the most career passing touchdowns (649), completions (7,753), passing yards (89,214), game-winning drives (58) and games started (333).

(NEW YORK) — Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has teamed up with the American Heart Association (AHA) on its latest initiative promoting CPR training.

Hamlin announced the partnership on his Instagram on Tuesday, citing how CPR saved his life earlier this month when he collapsed on the field after suffering cardiac arrest.

“Excited to be teaming up with @american_heart in a BIG way!” the Bills safety wrote to his 1.8 million followers.

“I want to thank everybody for the love and support over these past few weeks,” Hamlin said in the video. “As you know, CPR saved my life earlier this year on the field and CPR could easily save your life or someone you love.”

Called the “Damar Hamlin 3 for Heart Challenge,” the challenge teaches people how to perform hands-only CPR.

According to the American Heart Association and Hamlin, the steps are: go to heart.org/3 and watch a video that teaches people how to administer hands-on CPR, donate to the AHA to fund CPR education and training, and share the challenge with three people by tagging them with the hashtag #3forHeart.

In his post, Hamlin tagged former first lady Michelle Obama, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

Hamlin, 24, suffered a cardiac arrest on the field on Jan. 2 at Paycor Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals during Monday Night Football, team officials said at the time. Medical professionals immediately rushed to give him aid on the field and restarted his heart.

Hamlin was hospitalized in the critical care unit at UC Medical Center and was on a ventilator after the incident. His breathing tube was removed and he was released after nine days.

On Saturday, Hamlin thanked fans, the Buffalo Bills, the UC Medical Center, Buffalo General Hospital, and his family and friends for their support as he recovers from cardiac arrest.

“I can’t tell you how appreciative I am of all the love, all the support and everything that’s just been coming in my way,” Hamlin said in a video.

(NEW YORK) — Now that the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are officially set to face-off in Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 12, one mom faces the ultimate dilemma: Who should she root for?

Donna Kelce is the first mother to have two children go head-to-head in a Super Bowl. Her sons — Jason Kelce on the Eagles and Travis Kelce on the Chiefs — will be competing in a few short weeks for the Lombardi Trophy.

“My mom can’t lose,” Travis Kelce told the press in a post-game interview on Sunday.

Jason Kelce, meanwhile, acknowledged his brother’s win Sunday night, shortly after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20, tweeting that he’s “officially done being a Chiefs fan this season!!”

The brothers grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and played as teammates at the University of Cincinnati in 2008.

On Sunday night, Donna Kelce tweeted “#HeightsHighandUCBearcatSuperBowl” to celebrate both her sons.

Jason Kelce, the older brother of the two, was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 and has since played 12 seasons with the team as a center, according to ESPN. Just two seasons behind his brother, Travis Kelce has played as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs for 10 seasons after he was drafted in 2013.

The Kelce brothers are both offensive players for their respective teams so the two won’t be on the field at the same time during the competition. Both are looking to claim their second Super Bowl titles.
