Bruno Mars joined BLACKPINK onstage for their second of two back-to-back performances at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium over the weekend.

Bruno took the stage Sunday to perform his hit song with ROSÉ, “APT.” The two performed the song wearing matching jackets as they jumped around stage with a group of backup dancers and confetti fell from the ceiling.

The Los Angeles show marked BLACKPINK’s return to North America after nearly three years. With the Saturday and Sunday shows at SoFi, they became the first girl group to sell out the venue for two consecutive nights.

BLACKPINK’s Deadline World Tour now heads to Chicago, Toronto and New York, before heading to Europe and Asia.

On Friday, the group released their new single, “JUMP.”

AEG Presents and Free Lunch

Keyshia Cole had an outfit planned for her recent show in Brooklyn, but she “Let It Go” due to wardrobe malfunctions.

The singer performed at Barclays Center Saturday, coming out onstage with an all-denim look and a matching New York Yankees hat. As she went through the songs, her top started to fall, forcing her to hold it up as she sang.

“[My top] won’t let me great,” said Keyshia, who eventually sought assistance from the crowd and asked if anyone had a T-shirt to spare. A fan then gave her a shirt, which fittingly had her photo on it, and she changed while onstage with her dancers surrounding her.

Keyshia later ripped off her skirt that had been falling apart and continued the performance in the fan’s T-shirt, which appeared to be worn over a black bodysuit/underwear.

The rest of her set went off without a hitch and included a change into an all-white look, which she completed with some furry white boots, and a performance from Jadadiss, who took the stage with songs including “New York,” “Knock Yourself Out” and “All About the Benjamins.”

Lil’ Kim also joined Keyshia onstage for “Let It Go” after previously performing her own set with guests Honey Bxby and Capella Grey.

Elijah BlakeAmerie and Tink had opened the night as supporting acts of the Brooklyn show.

The Way It Is tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of Keyshia’s debut album of the same name. The next stop is the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Woody Guthrie’s version of ‘Deportee’ released for the very first time

Shamus Records

Some never-before-heard music from legendary folk singer Woody Guthrie will be part of a new collection coming in August, and now fans are getting a taste.

Woody At Home – Volumes 1 & 2 will be made up of home recordings made by Guthrie between 1951 and 1952 at his apartment in Beach Haven, Brooklyn, as a way to introduce himself to his publisher. The set is made up of 22 previously unreleased recordings, along with three spoken word tracks.

Among the goodies in the set is a recording of Guthrie’s classic tune “This Land is Your Land” with new verses.

The set also features Guthrie’s only known recording of the song “Deportee (Plane Wreck at Los Gatos).” The song, with music by Martin Hoffman, has been covered by artists like Pete Seeger, Bruce Springsteen and Joan Baez, but now Guthrie’s version, under the name “Deportee (Woody’s Home Tape),” has been released for the first time in honor of his birthday.

The song was inspired by the Jan. 29, 1948, plane crash near Los Gatos Van Canyon, California. Thirty-two people died, including 28 migrant farm workers being deported back to Mexico. Guthrie was inspired to write a poem about the incident after realizing news reports only mentioned the crew members by name, referring to the farm workers simply as “deportees.” The poem was later put to music.

Woody At Home – Volumes 1 & 2 will be released Aug. 14 digitally, on CD and on vinyl, and is available for preorder now. The collection will include previously unreleased family photographs, artwork and lyric sheets.

Cactus Jack Records

Travis Scott‘s Jackboys 2 album has officially dropped. The album arrived on streaming services Sunday, featuring a track in which he seemingly targets Pusha T.

“Champain & Vacay” featuring Don Toliver finds Scott responding to digs that Push has made during his press run for the just-released Clipse album, Let God Sort Em.

“Yeah, man, I swear these old n***** kill me/ Know my YNs feel me,” raps Scott. “They just want the real me, yeah/ Blue Bugatti, I’m dodgin’ TMZ/ Made a hundred off pushin’ T’s/ Now my phone on DND, yeah.”

His response follows the release of the Clipse single “So Be It,” on which Push had dissed Scott.

“You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/ Calabasas took your b**** and your pride in front of me,” Pusha raps on the track. “Her Utopia had moved right up the street/ And her lip gloss was poppin’, she ain’t need you to eat/ The ‘net gon’ call it the way that they see it/ But I got the video, I can share and A.E. it/ They wouldn’t believe it, but I can’t unsee it/ Lucky I ain’t TMZ it, so be it, so be it.”

In a GQ interview, Push explained he was upset that Scott had played his Utopia album for him and Pharrell ahead of the release but left out the “Meltdown” verse on which Drake had dissed him.

Pusha said Travis has “no picks, no loyalty to nobody” and will “jump around whatever he feels is hot or cling onto whatever he feels is hot.”

Scott’s Jackboys 2 is now available, as is Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out.

Sunday marked the 40th anniversary of the Live Aid charity concerts, and U2 frontman Bono has revealed the one regret he has about the band’s performance at London’s Wembley Stadium.

In an interview that aired Sunday as part of CNN’s four-part Live Aid docuseries, Live Aid: When Rock ‘n’ Roll Took on the World, Bono shared that he can’t get over how he looked on the big day.

“I can’t look back at this moment with two eyes because it was such a bad hair day,” he said, according to People. “[H]onestly, one of the most famous moments of your life and your activism, you’ve got a mullet.”

U2 performed two songs during Live Aid, “Sunday Bloody Sunday” and “Bad,” with Bono climbing down to the audience during the latter song and pulling one fan out to give them a hug.

U2 marked the anniversary with a post on Instagram, writing, “U2 were excited to play a small part in this gigantic moment forty years ago.” They noted that they “sensed LIVE AID was a coming of age for our audience as much as our band. A day when everyone seemed to agree that where you live should not decide whether you live.”

Live Aid, organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure, took place at London’s Wembley Stadium and Philly’s John F. Kennedy Stadium. The benefit concerts, which raised more than $150 million for Ethiopian famine relief, were watched by about 2 billion people in more than 100 countries.

Parker previously teased a new Tame Impala album in a 2024 interview with The Guardian, sharing, “I’m loving how excited I am by it.”

Coldplay performed at the halftime show for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, which took place Sunday in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Chris Martin and company played their song “A Sky Full of Stars” alongside Australian musician Emmanuel Kelly. The show also featured performances from Doja Cat, Tems and J Balvin.

The FIFA Club World Cup is not to be confused with the FIFA World Cup. While both are soccer tournaments, the Club World Cup features several different club teams from various different nations, while the World Cup features one team representing each country. The Club World Cup final saw England’s Chelsea beat France’s Paris Saint-Germain 3-0.

Coldplay is currently touring the U.S. in support of their latest album, 2024’s Moon Music.
