A guitar that was previously owned by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page is going up for auction in September and is expected to bring in a pretty penny.

The U.K. publication The Standard reports that the guitar up for grabs was originally part of a collaboration between New Music Express magazine and the band over 50 years ago. Back then, the mag ran a sweepstakes with the grand prize being a 1957 Gretsch Chet Atkins 6120 electric guitar that Page purchased in Nashville for about $270.

In order to enter to sweepstakes, competitors had to match six guitars with their superstar owners; a man named Charles Reid from North London won.

Reid sold the guitar in 1990 to a man named Phil O’Donoghue for under $3,000. Following O’Donoghue’s death earlier this year, the family decided to put it up for auction.

The auction is now scheduled to take place Sept. 9 in England; the guitar is estimated to sell for somewhere between $40,000 and $70,000.

Whoever purchases the guitar will also get original copies of New Music Express, along with receipts and correspondence.

Old Dominion‘s memorializing an old friend on their new track, “Miss You Man.”

It was inspired by noted songwriter Andrew Dorff, who passed away in 2016.

“We play songs we’ve written with him every night on stage,” Mathew Ramsey explains. “When you hear our music, many times you are also hearing the voice of Andrew.”

“There is a saying — grief is the price of love,” he continues. “We all experience that loss at some point and we carry that love as we go through that process, in some ways, for the rest of our lives. ‘Miss You Man’ is a tribute to grief, friendship, and love.”

You can check out the “Miss You Man” music video on YouTube now. It’s one of the tracks from Old Dominion’s sixth studio album, Barbara, which drops Aug. 22.

Drake teams up with Central Cee on the new track “Which One.” “You’re not like the tings you’re around/ You’re a real good girl, so I’m bringin’ you down/ But come to the bed, I’ll fling you around,” Drizzy raps over a dancehall beat.

NBA YoungBoy has released his eighth album, MASA. The album has a whopping 30 tracks, including “Fire Your Manager” featuring Playboi Carti.

Tyla is out with a new bundle of songs. The four-track set, WWP (We Wanna Party), includes new songs “Dynamite” featuring WizKid and “Mr. Media,” along with the previously released singles “Bliss” and “Is It.”

Daniel Caesar‘s new song “Have a Baby (With Me)” has arrived. It’s the lead single off his upcoming album, Son of Spergy.

Lil Wayne and Rick Ross join country star Morgan Wallen on the remix for his song “Miami.” “It seemed like it could use a rapper on there,” Wallen said in a Theo Von interview back in April. “I didn’t end up using a feature. … It’s one of those songs where it wouldn’t be surprising if we got a remix and did that once it’s out.”

Republic Records

Mirador, the new band featuring Greta Van Fleet guitarist Jake Kiszka, has announced their debut album.

The self-titled record is due out Sept. 19. Lead single “Feels Like Gold” is out now.

“Mirador comes from a deep passion for rock ‘n’ roll, early folk, and country blues as well as folklore,” says guitarist Chris Turpin, who also plays in the band Ida Mae.

“Our world lives in those traditions,” Kiszka shares. “There’s an unspoken mysticism. You can trace it back to the stories of meeting the devil at the crossroads, selling your soul, and losing your mind to the wind. Mirador definitely inhabits a lot of that. We’re hyper aware of our lineage, so we can build our own future as a band. It’s two guitar players from notable groups coming together to create a new mythology. As soon as we were in uncharted territory, we knew we were doing something right.”

Mirador will launch a U.S. tour in September.

Greta Van Fleet’s most recent album is 2023’s Starcatcher.

Morgan Wallen‘s taking another trip to “Miami” with a new remix of the I’m the Problem track with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross

Morgan first mentioned the potential collab during his interview with Theo Von in April.

“It seemed like it could use a rapper on there,” he told the comedian. “I didn’t end up using a feature. … It’s one of those songs where it wouldn’t be surprising if we got a remix and did that once it’s out.”

He also teased the track during his Miami tour stop earlier in July. It was inspired by Keith Whitley‘s 1986 hit, “Miami, My Amy.”

Only a dozen shows remain on Morgan’s I’m the Problem Tour, as the stadium trek rolls on this weekend in Seattle.

Fantasy Records

Warren Haynes is sharing another preview of his upcoming release, The Whisper Sessions, which features seven stripped-down versions of songs from his 2024 solo album, Million Voices Whisper.

The latest is a new take on the song “You Ain’t Above Me” and is available now via digital outlets.

“This stripped-down version is actually the only time I’ve ever performed it this way,” Haynes shares. “I played it on my new Signature Gibson Les Paul with P-90 pickups which offers a cleaner and brighter sound than most folks would expect from me, which worked perfectly for the rhythm accompaniment of this kind of soul ballad.”

This is the second song released from the album. Haynes previously shared the track “These Changes,” which features his Allman Brothers bandmate Derek Trucks, who co-wrote the tune with Haynes.

In addition to the new takes on Million Voices Whisper tunes, The Whisper Sessions includes a new version of the Allman Brothers Band classic “Melissa,” featuring Trucks.

The Whisper Sessions is available for preorder now.

His songs “undressed” and “back to friends” are still on the chart, but sombr has now dropped a new single for fans to enjoy, along with a video starring fellow breakout star Addison Rae.

In the video for “12 to 12,” sombr plays himself being interviewed on a ’70s-era talk show by a host, also played by himself, filmed by a cameraman who he also portrays. During the interview, he fantasizes about Addison, who’s seen in the audience, and then dancing and writhing around on a lighted dance floor reminiscent of Saturday Night Fever.

Sombr drives around Hollywood and into the dance club in his retro convertible, where the two finally connect and dirty dance. The next morning, he falls into a pool, seemingly dead, as the police arrive.

The 20-year-old singer, born Shane Boose, performed “undressed” on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week; you can watch the performance now on YouTube.  He’ll kick off a U.S. headlining tour in September.

Jeezy‘s first studio album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, is 20 years old Saturday — a cause for momentous celebration. He’ll be performing in his hometown of Atlanta as part of the album’s 20th anniversary tour, and will release a live version of the project titled TM-101: Live. Both include a symphonic reimagining of songs from his debut album, all backed by a live orchestra.

“I feel like just yesterday I was celebrating 10 years in the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. We did a 10-year anniversary there,” Jeezy tells ABC Audio. “To celebrate 20 years in Atlanta and be dropping a symphonic version of TM:101 Live on the same date, I think that’s evolution right there.”

Jeezy will also release vinyl editions of the album.

His goal is to celebrate how far he’s come and continue to impact lives,” “inspire my culture and also give them a clear example of what it is to be unapologetically you and to give yourself permission to evolve,” he says.

“I think that was the hardest part for me. It was something I dealt with for a while,” Jeezy says, noting he felt creatively and spiritually freed once he let go of the outside noise and concerns about cancel culture.

“When you not worried about any of that because you are who you are and you don’t care what nobody else thinks, you just wanna make your contribution to the culture and the world,” he continues.
“I think that’s the best place to ever be in because it’s like, I’m doing all this on my own.”

Jeezy’s TM: 101 Live, produced by Adam Blackstone and Derrick Hodge and featuring Color of Noize Orchestra, will be available on streaming services Saturday.

A limited-edition purple vinyl will be on sale at Urban Outfitters. Three hundred copies of an orange vinyl pressing will also be available through Fat Beats.
