George Birge‘s hit, “It Won’t Be Long,” was inspired by watching his dad play with his two sons.

So it only made sense for 8-year-old George James and 6-year-old Luke to be in the music video.

“It was a no-brainer to me to feature my kids in the music video…” the proud father tells ABC Audio. “And they just thought it was amazing. They feel like superstars now — their first little taste of the limelight. And they were definitely the stars of the music video.”

In truth, George admits there was a little behind-the-scenes drama during the shoot.

“It’s funny, you know, we got so many comments about how well they did in the music video and how awesome it turned out and how emotional it was,” he explains.

“And I just wanted to be like, ‘You know, I wish y’all could have seen behind the scenes, because really while we were shooting it, they were wrestling each other and crying and punching each other the whole time,'” he laughs. “So I’m so glad that we captured the magic because it was a lot more chaos when we shot it.”

George is currently on the Country Song Came On Tour with Luke Bryan.

Directors of Billy Joel documentary hope viewers learn that he’s more than just the hits

Billy Joel is the subject of a new two-part documentary, Billy Joel: And So It Goes, and the film’s directors Susan Lacy and Jessica Levin didn’t have to hold back when interviewing the rocker for the film.

Lacy tells ABC Audio that from the beginning she asked Joel if there were “any sensitivities” she should be aware of, and he simply told her to “tell the truth.”

“Nothing was off-limits,” she says.

Part two of the documentary debuted Friday on HBO, and Levin says it’s “a little bit of a different animal” than part one, which was somewhat of an origin story.

“It’s a much more personal story,” she says, noting it delves into his time with wife Christie Brinkley, but also touches on his family and his Jewish heritage, explaining, that’s “probably the most important aspect” of the film.

The doc also features artists like Bruce Springsteen, Sting and others talking about Billy and his career.

“The thing about musicians is, whether the critics got him or not, musicians got him,” Lacey says. “It means a lot when you hear Bruce Springsteen say the critics missed a lot of the best of Billy ’cause they just didn’t know how to pigeonhole him, but his melodies are actually better than mine.”

The two parts cover quite a bit of Billy’s life and career, and Levin says she and Lacy hope viewers will “come away with a really complete and satisfying experience of understanding an artist that is a lot more than his top line hits.”

She adds, “I think that you will be really surprised about what a complex and emotionally available artist you find in the film in a way that Billy has never been seen before.”

Billy Joel: And So It Goes is now streaming on HBO Max.

Beyoncé brought the house down Saturday night at the final show of her Cowboy Carter tour in Las Vegas, surprising fans with a Destiny’s Child reunion.

The Grammy-winning artist closed out her tour Saturday night with the trio performing together for the first time in seven years.

Kelly RowlandMichelle Williams and Beyoncé stepped out in matching gold ensembles, thrilling the crowd with hits like “Lose My Breath,” “Bootylicious,” and Beyoncé’s own song, “Energy.”

The chart-topping group went their separate ways in 2006 to pursue solo careers but have reunited a few times since, including during Beyoncé’s halftime performance at the 2013 Super Bowl and at her 2018 Coachella headlining set, the latter of which was the most recent public performance together.

After the show, Beyoncé shared photos of the reunion on Instagram, with fans flooding the comments to express their excitement and disbelief about the rare occasion.

Following the Destiny’s Child performance, Beyoncé’s daughter, 13-year-old Blue Ivy, joined her mother onstage. Blue has been a regular dancer throughout the tour, making her own mark on the show.

The Vegas show also featured several guest performances, with Beyoncé bringing out her husband Jay-Z and country singer Shaboozey for brief cameos.

The Cowboy Carter tour, in support of Beyoncé’s eighth studio album of the same name, kicked off in April at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Las Vegas performance was the 32nd and final stop on the tour, which included a memorable show in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, Texas, last month.

Oasis took a moment to honor the late Ozzy Osbourne during the reunited band’s show at London’s Wembley Stadium on Friday.

A photo of the Black Sabbath frontman was displayed onstage in between performances of the songs “Live Forever” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.” As they launched into the latter song, Liam Gallagher dedicated the track to Ozzy.

Friday’s Oasis concert marked the first of five straight performances at Wembley Stadium, and they’ll be back for two more in September. The band’s reunion tour will come to the U.S. in August.

Ozzy died on July 22, just over two weeks after his final performance at the massive Back to the Beginning concert on July 5.

Pantera has postponed and canceled several upcoming live shows while the band members mourn the death of Ozzy Osbourne.

“Ozzy wasn’t just a legend who shaped the very foundation of heavy metal and inspired Pantera from the beginning — he was family,” the “Walk” outfit writes in a Facebook post. “A mentor, a brother, and a constant presence in our lives both on and off the stage. The bond we shared with him ran far deeper than music.”

The post continues, “In light of this profound loss, we need time and space to grieve — to be with our families, our crew, and each other as we process and honor the life of someone who meant so much to us.”

Shows set to take place July 28 in Saratoga Springs, New York, and July 31 in Holmdel, New Jersey, have been rescheduled for Sept. 9 and Sept. 8, respectively, while stops in Gilford, New Hampshire, on July 29, Birmingham, Alabama, on Sept. 8 and Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Sept. 10 have been scrapped entirely.

“We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time,” Pantera says.

Pantera was one of the many bands to perform at the massive Back to the Beginning concert on July 5, which marked the final live performances by Ozzy and the original Black Sabbath lineup. Ozzy died just over two weeks later, on July 22.

Notably, the current incarnation of Pantera includes longtime Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde.

What could tempt Taylor Swift back to Instagram? Her boyfriend’s latest foray into acting.

After being largely silent following the end of her Eras Tour and the reacquisition of her master recordings, Taylor took her Instagram Story on Friday to hype Travis Kelce‘s new Netflix movie, Happy Gilmore 2.

She wrote, “Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie! An absolute must watch, 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible.”

Taylor added an emoji of a jar of honey — an apparent reference to a scene in the movie where Travis gets covered in honey and fed to a hungry bear.

As previously reported, Travis recently sent Swifties into a tizzy by posting a series of photos of himself and Taylor having “adventures” in the “offseason.” “Everyone say ‘thank you Travis,'” commented one fan.
