Tom Cruise doesn’t look back in anger as he attends Oasis Wembley Stadium gig

The mission to see Oasis‘ reunion tour proved to be very possible for one Tom Cruise.

The movie star was spotted in the crowd during the “Wonderwall” outfit’s ongoing run of shows at London’s Wembley Stadium. While there, he took a selfie with English DJ and producer Goldie, who posted the photo to his Instagram.

As they are wont to do, the Gallagher brothers have expressed strong feelings about Cruise in the past. Spoiler alert: they’re not fans.

In a past documentary, Noel Gallagher declared that Cruise has “not been in one good film his entire career.” Liam Gallagher maintained that Cocktail was a good movie, but he stills “hate[s]” the actor.

It seems, though, that Cruise does not look back in anger, and seemingly enjoyed the Oasis show in spite of Noel and Liam’s criticism.

Oasis played two shows at Wembley Stadium over the weekend and will headline the venue three more times starting Wednesday, and then another two times in September. Their worldwide tour, which marks the first time the formerly feuding Gallagher brothers have shared the live stage since 2009, comes to the U.S. in August.

Get ready to Meet the Parents again next Thanksgiving — and save a seat at the table for Ariana Grande.

Focker In-Law, the next film in the Ben Stiller comedy franchise that started in 2000, now has a release date: Thanksgiving 2026. Stiller returns as Greg Focker, while Robert De Niro reprises his role as Greg’s father-in-law, Jack. Teri Polo and Blythe Danner are also back as, respectively, Greg’s wife, Pam, and mother-in-law, Dina. Owen Wilson returns as Pam’s former fiancé, Kevin.

An Instagram post announcing the film is set to the Randy Newman song “A Fool in Love,” from the original movie’s soundtrack. The names of the casts are listed, followed by the word “and,” and then — big finish — the name “Ariana Grande.” While her role in the film hasn’t been detailed, the Wicked star is rumored to be playing the fiancée of Greg’s son.

“Give Thanks for Family” reads the film’s tagline.

Iggy Pop performed the track “Punkrocker,” a song he released with the Swedish band Teddybears back in 2006, live for the first time Saturday during his set at the Project Pabst festival in Portland, Oregon.

As for why a song nearly 20 years old is getting its live debut now, “Punkrocker” has seen a resurgence thanks to its use in the new Superman movie.

Following the film’s premiere earlier in July, Pop told The Hollywood Reporter, “I always thought [‘Punkrocker’] had soul.”

“Superman is the best friend you could have,” the Godfather of Punk added.

Dusty Hill, longtime bassist for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band ZZ Top, passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, Texas. He was 72.

Born Joe Michael Hill in Dallas, Texas, Dusty and drummer Frank Beard joined guitarist Billy F Gibbons in ZZ Top shortly after they were formed in 1968, with the band releasing their debut album, ZZ Top’s First Album, in 1971.

The band went on to release 15 albums over the course of their career, selling an estimated 50 million records.

My Chemical Romance debuted a never-before-released song called “The War Beneath the Rain” during their concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Frontman Gerard Way told the crowd that the track was originally recorded for a new album MCR was working on before it was scrapped upon their 2013 break-up.

“We were making a record that never came out, this is one of the songs we really loved from it,” Way shared.

After breaking up, MCR put out a best-of compilation in 2014 that featured a previously unheard song called “Fake Your Death.” They didn’t put out new music again until 2022, when they debuted the single “The Foundations of Decay.”

In addition to debuting new tunes, My Chem’s tour has included a performance of their 2006 album The Black Parade in full each night. The trek continues Saturday in Arlington, Texas.

Charli XCX has finally gotten around to posting some of her wedding photos on Instagram, and some of her celebrity pals rushed to offer their congratulations in the comments.

Charli and George Daniel, drummer for The 1975, tied the knot July 19 in London after confirming their engagement in November 2023. On Instagram, Charli posted a carousel of photos from the nuptials, captioned, “did something.”  We see Charli in her wedding dress and veil and sunglasses, holding a bouquet, George smoking a cigarette in his suit, the couple at a table during their celebratory meal, Charli holding up a plate of some sort of food, and the two smooching in front of the registry office where they got married.

In the comments, Dua Lipa wrote, “A WHOLE WIFE!!!!” while Lorde shared, “Beautiful stuff.” Hailey Bieber added the heart eyes emoji and Paris Hilton commented, “Congratulations love!” Tove Lo wrote, “Aaaw the best couple congrats.” Ice Spice and Anya Taylor-Joy also sent congratulatory emojis.

Even the Bratz doll company — which isn’t technically Brat, but close — got into the act, commenting, “Everything IS romantic,” quoting Charli’s song of the same name.
