Anne Wilson‘s new 12-song album, Stars, will drop Oct. 17. She’ll launch The Stars Tour the next day at The Pinnacle in Music City.
Gavin Adcock‘s new track, “Light a Fire,” is out now, ahead of the release of his sophomore album, Own Worst Enemy, on Friday.
Cardi B’s upcoming single, “Imaginary Players,” will drop on Friday, taking after the title of Jay-Z‘s track of the same name. In an X Spaces session early Wednesday, she seemed to tease that he cleared the song.
“There [were] a lot of hip-hop heads in the building … and they heard ‘Imaginary Players,’ and they absolutely love it,” Cardi said. “This song is like a staple for me. … I have to f****** get it approved by the one and only.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper also said she would have been fine if the answer had been no. “If he didn’t approve it, I probably wouldn’t [have] even [felt] a certain type of way [either], because it would have been like, ‘OK, maybe I just had to come a little bit harder,’” she explained. “But I’m glad that I came hard and he loved it.”
“Imaginary Players” is said to include a sample of Jay’s song of the same name and will continue to preview Am I the Drama?, due out Sept. 19.
“If only y’all knew the story of what I had to go through with this single,” Cardi said in an earlier Instagram Live. “I fought really hard to put this song out because some people wanted a different direction, but it’s like, I want my next single to be more of a hip-hop direction.”
Foreigner has added more orchestral shows to their 2026 calendar.
The Rock & Roll of Famers already announced a five-night Las Vegas residency, Foreigner: The Hits Orchestral – Celebrating 50 Years Live in Vegas, which will take place at The Venetian Theatre March 6-14. And now they’ve added some California dates to the tour.
Following Vegas, Foreigner will play five cities in California starting March 17 in Redding, and hitting Folsom, San Diego and Napa before wrapping March 22 in San Jose.
The shows will have the band playing their biggest hits, like “Urgent,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded” and “I Want To Know What Love Is,” backed by a 20-piece orchestra, with arrangements written by Juilliard cello virtuoso Dave Eggar and conductor Chuck Palmer.
Information on tickets and a complete list of dates can be found at Foreigner.com.
Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks have shared another track from the upcoming reissue of their only studio album as a duo, 1973’s Buckingham Nicks.
The artists have released the tune “Don’t Let Me Down Again,” which was the first single off the record when it was originally released. It is now available via digital outlets.
Buckingham Nicks is being released Sept. 19, digitally, on CD and on vinyl, with newly remastered sound. This will mark the first-ever reissue of the album, which has been unavailable for decades.
Lindsey and Stevie’s career didn’t initially take off after the release of Buckingham Nicks. The album wasn’t a commercial success, but shortly after the release Mick Fleetwood heard a track from the album, which led to him inviting Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac. Buckingham insisted his then-girlfriend Nicks come with him, and the pair officially joined the band on New Year’s Eve 1974.

President Donald Trump announced this year’s Kennedy Center Honorees Wednesday, with KISS among the artists being recognized.
Trump made the announcement during a press conference. “I Will Survive” singer Gloria Gaynor, actor Sylvester Stallone, Phantom of the Opera star Michael Crawford and country legend George Strait also make up the 49th class of Kennedy Center Honorees.
“They’re great people and they deserve it. They work hard, and they’re still working hard,” Trump said of KISS, noting the band has “something very special” planned for the annual ceremony, which will be held on Dec. 7. “We’re gonna have a good time.”
Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss formed KISS in New York City in 1973. They released their self-titled debut album in 1974 and have gone on to become one of the biggest-selling bands of all time, selling over 100 million records worldwide. They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
Kid Cudi was one of the people who testified in support of Cassie during Sean“Diddy” Combs‘sex trafficking and racketeering trial, but apparently he didn’t want to do it. While a guest on Alex Cooper‘s Call Her Daddy podcast, he explained how he ended up as a witness in the trial.
“At first they asked, I said no. They asked again, I said no. Then I got subpoenad, and I was like, ‘F***. S***. No,” Cudi recalled. “I hated every minute of it. Like, I did not want to do it. But then I thought about, when I was up there, you know, I’m here to support Cassie and, you know, Cassie is my friend, and I love her and I wanna see her do well.”
“I’ve always just wanted to see her, you know, thrive and, and do well and be happy, because I know she was living a nightmare. And I just was there to support her,” Cudi continued. “That’s what kind of gave me peace with it when I sat down in that chair, it was just about … ‘Oh man, I gotta, like, hold homegirl down’ and like, you know, look out for her.”
Cudi’s testimony included his recollection of the time he learned Diddy had allegedly broken into his home and lit his car on fire — a moment Kudi admits he “had a hard time understanding” was true.
“I was like, ‘Am I in a movie? What the f*** is going on?'” he said. “I just thought about it as like, just some wild s*** that happened in my rock ‘n’ roll life.”
Diddy was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges but was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Elton, his husband David Furnish and their pal Charlotte Tilbury, of the makeup line of the same name, are teaming up to host an online competition called Style Icon. Here’s how it works: Go to StyleIcon.org to submit your photo and a short application spotlighting your personal style. Then, share your profile and encourage friends, family and fans to vote.
The public will then vote for their favorite Style Icon, which will involve supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation in some way — it’s not clear how at the moment. The stylish winner will get tickets to Versace’s show at Milan Fashion Week 2026, $20,000 and an exclusive feature in Flaunt magazine.
“You’ve got flair, and the world needs to see it,” says Elton in an Instagram post announcing the competition.
“If you’re a bold trendsetter who inspires the world with your signature style, join us in our search for the next style icon,” David says.
“But it’s more than glitz and glam,” Elton continues. “This competition is about using your voice and your platform for good.”
“Through your participation, you are supporting lifesaving work,” notes David.
‘Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009’ album artwork. XL Recordings
Radiohead has released a new compilation called Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009.
As its title suggests, the collection includes live performances of songs from Radiohead’s 2003 album, Hail to the Thief. It’s out now via digital outlets, and will be released on vinyl and CD on Oct. 31.
The rendition of the song “There, There” recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2009 is accompanied by a video, which you can find on YouTube.
The idea for the compilation came up as Thom Yorke was reworking Hail to the Thief to accompany a theatrical production of Shakespeare‘s Hamlet.
“In the process of thinking of how to build arrangements for the Shakespeare Hamlet/Hail to the Thief theatre production, I asked to hear some archive live recordings of the songs,” Yorke shares. “I was shocked by the kind of energy behind the way we played. I barely recognized us, and it helped me find a way forward.”
“We decided to get these live recordings mixed and released (it would have been insane to keep them for ourselves),” he continues. “It has all been a very cathartic process. We very much hope you enjoy them.”

David Byrne reunited with his Talking Heads bandmates in 2023 to promote the rerelease of their 1984 concert film, Stop Making Sense, but anyone holding out hope for a reunion tour will be disappointed.
In an interview withRolling Stone, Byrne says doing press for the movie together resulted in him and his bandmates – Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison and Tina Weymouth – feeling “more comfortable with one another” but it won’t lead to anything else.
“I didn’t feel like, ‘Oh, yeah, let’s go out on tour again.’ Or, ‘Let’s make another record,'” he says. “Musically, I’ve gone to a very different place. And I also felt like there’s been a fair number of reunion records and tours. And some of them were probably pretty good. Not very many.”
“It’s pretty much impossible to recapture where you were at that time in your life,” he adds. “For an audience … that was formative music for them at a particular time. They might persuade themselves that they can relive that, but you can’t.”
But Byrne says he can “totally understand” why fans want a Talking Heads reunion tour.
“I’m a music fan like other people,” he says, noting there are bands that have broken up that he’s missed.
“But you realize you can’t turn the clock back,” he says. “When you hear music at a certain point in your life, it means a lot. But it doesn’t mean you can go back there and make it happen again.”
Byrne is set to release a new solo album, Who is the Sky?, on Sept. 5 and just released another song from the record, “The Avant Garde,” to digital outlets.
He’s also hitting the road on a new tour that kicks off Sept. 14 in Providence, Rhode Island. A complete list of dates can be found at DavidByrne.com.
