The Temper Trap’s most recent album is 2016’s Thick as Thieves. They also just put out a dance remix of their signature song, “Sweet Disposition,” in July.

Russell Dickerson‘s new album, Famous Back Home, drops Aug. 22, with a title that’s a subtle nod to the mutual admiration society he has going on with his wife, Kailey Dickerson, and their sons.
If you keep up with Russell and Kailey’s socials, you know there’s lots of fun to be had and rarely a dull moment with two energetic little boys, Remington Dickerson and Radford Dickerson.
“Remy, our oldest, he’s 4 1/2,” Russell tells ABC Audio. “He believes that he is an actual police officer and he’ll take you to jail, which is our pantry, lock you in there. He’s very law enforcement obsessed.”
His younger brother, however, doesn’t take things quite so seriously.
“Radman?” Russell laughs, “Rad is just, he’s just a ham. He just already, like, loves to make people laugh. Like he’ll fall and hurt himself and be like, ‘Ouchee!’ And like look up … [to] see if you’re laughing or not. And he’s 1 1/2. It’s amazing.”
Remington will be 5 in September, before Radford turns 2 in October.

Eagles founding member Bernie Leadon has debuted a video for his latest single, “Too Many Memories,” which is his first solo single in over 21 years.
The clip uses old photos to provide a “visual time capsule” of the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s life and career, and he says digging through his old pics for the clip was “a lot of fun.”
“I’m sure everyone has their own batch of photos they feel strongly connected to. And a song or two to go with them,” he says. “Looking back at photos, and different moments throughout our lives, so many memories, stories and feelings come back to us, sometimes connected to a song or a similar experience.”
He adds, “It’s not that we literally have ‘Too Many’ memories, it’s that some of them may not be resolved, that we’ve left something undone or unsaid.” He notes, “The song’s conclusion is that we really should leave most of the troubling things behind, let them dissolve like the mist rising off a meadow in the early morning or dwindling light of evening.”
It’s been a long time since Leadon has performed for the public, but that’s about to change. He’s set to perform at the upcoming Americanafest, taking place Sept. 9-13, marking his first public performance since touring with the Eagles on 2105’s History of the Eagles tour.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift on ‘New Heights’ (@newheightshow/Instagram)
In her 20-year career, Taylor Swift has never done an interview with a boyfriend, let alone an in-depth one where she talked about their relationship. That’s what she gave fans in her appearance on Travis Kelce and JasonKelce‘s New Heights podcast Wednesday night — and so much more.
Of course, Taylor was on the podcast to promote her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, due Oct. 3. Produced by Max Martin and Shellback, with whom she hasn’t worked since Reputation, the album features 12 tracks and only 12 tracks: Taylor swore she’s not going to drop an extra 20 songs a few hours later.
“This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during [the Eras Tour], which was so exuberant, and electric and vibrant,” she said. She recorded it while she was on the Eras Tour, flying back and forth to Stockholm, Sweden, to work with Martin and Shellback.
“I essentially said to [Martin], ‘I wanna be … as proud of an album as I am of the Eras Tour and for the same reasons,'” Taylor revealed.
“This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time,” she stated. “I care about this record more than I can even overstate.” Travis added that he’s heard every song, saying it comprises “12 bangers” and describing it as “a lot more upbeat and a lot more fun pop excitement — a complete 180 from the songs on Tortured Poets, for sure.”
The theme of the album, Taylor said, is “everything that was going on behind the curtain” during the tour, noting that the cover of the album depicts her at the end of the show, when she would literally be in a bathtub recovering.
Her goals for the album were “melodies that were so infectious that you’re almost angry at it. And lyrics that are just as vivid, but crisp, and focused and completely intentional.”
In addition to the new music, Taylor discussed how her relationship with Travis began and how it unfolded, buying back her master recordings, the “granny” hobbies she’s taken up since the tour’s end, her father’s health after his recent quintuple bypass surgery, how she became a crazed football fan and lots more. Here are a few takeaways:
On how Travis shouting her out on the podcast led to their romance: “I was like, if this guy isn’t crazy, which is a big if, this is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.” She also described him as “a human exclamation point” and a “vibe booster.”
On her and Travis’ similarities: “Our job is to entertain people for three-plus hours in NFL stadiums. Like, when I’m there, it’s called a dressing room. When Travis is there, it’s called a locker room.”
On whether fans should now listen to her original albums or her rerecordings: “It’s really whatever you guys want. … If you found a nostalgia in the originals and that was what you were listening to when you were 12 years old, bopping around in your bedroom, go crazy. We got ’em all!”
Taylor also spoke at length about:
–Her obsession with baking sourdough bread
–Travis’ obsession with wanting an otter as a pet
–Why Red is her favorite rerecording
–Why her favorite Eras Tour moment involved the song “Willow”

Taylor Swift isn’t the only pop star who can get Google to do something cool when you put her name in the search box. Ed Sheeran has somehow arranged for Google to return the question “Did you mean Rupert Grint?” when you search for his name and vice versa. It’s all a promotion for Ed’s new video for “A Little More,” which features the Harry Potter actor as an obsessed Ed Sheeran fan.
During her Spotify Billions Club concert in June, Miley Cyrus performed her hit song “We Can’t Stop” because it’s one of her songs that has been streamed 1 billion times. But it wasn’t until this week that the song’s video officially hit the billion-view milestone on YouTube. It’s her fifth billion-view video as a lead artist, collaborator or featured artist, including “Flowers,” “Wrecking Ball” and “Party in the U.S.A.”
Ahead of more details being revealed about Taylor Swift‘s upcoming 12th studio album, Kansas City, Missouri, is taking advantage of its connection to the singer. From now through Sunday, fans can pose with a special TS12 photo op display in the Grand Hall of the city’s Union Station, featuring plenty of orange and green balloons. Plus, Union Station’s planetarium is running a new Laser Taylor Swift show on Saturday, featuring 13 Taylor hits brought to life by a laser light display and animations. Of course, Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ahead of the release of her comeback album, Escape Room, Teyana Taylor has unveiled the track list. There are 22 tracks on the project, including collaborations with Lucky Daye, Tyla, Jill Scott, Kaytranada and her daughters, Rue Rose Shumpert and Junie Shumpert. Taraji P. Henson, La La, Issa Rae and Kerry Washington are some of the voices behind the narrations on the album. Escape Room is coming out on Aug. 22.
After previewing the song on YouTube and at the Outside Lands festival, Doja Cathas announced her song “Jealous Type” will come out on Aug. 21. Rather than making fans wait until midnight, the track will drop at 8 p.m. ET. It is now available for presave.
A few country stars have lent their support to BigXThaPlug‘s country-inspired album, I Hope You’re Happy. According to his track list, Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll and Tucker Wetmore join Shaboozey and Ella Langley as features on the project, arriving on Aug. 22.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA weren’t the only ones on the Grand National Tour — Mustard was there, too. After completing the Stockholm show, his final stop on the trek, he took to Instagram to thank both stars for the opportunity. “Wow, 39 sold-out stadiums! Thank you to my bro [Kendrick Lamar] and [SZA] for allowing me to open the show. I’ll never forget it,” he wrote, alongside photos from the tour. “I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity.”
He continued, “Love to everyone that bought a ticket or put on a mustard costume to come to the show, love y’all peace.”
