Fans may be one step closer to getting A$AP Rocky‘s long-awaited album Don’t Be Dumb. Rocky revealed the artwork for the project Tuesday, featuring a prohibition symbol in which the title of the album is written.

“SORRY 4 THE WAIT DON’T BE DUMB FINALLY HERE! THANKS TIM BURTON FOR HELPING ME MAKE THIS MOVIE! COMING SOON,” Rocky wrote on Instagram. His partner, Rihanna, responded in the comments, “Sooo f***** proud!!!! LETS GOOOO BABY.”

Burton’s name also appears on the cover art, fueling speculation about the filmmaker’s involvement. It remains unclear whether Rocky’s reference to a “movie” means the album itself or hints at an accompanying visual.

Don’t Be Dumb will serve as the follow-up to Rocky’s 2018 studio album, Testing, and has been heavily teased in recent months. Fans speculate he hinted at the release date amid his Camp Flog Gnaw set in November, where he wore a sweatshirt featuring the numbers “01162026.” Fans interpreted that as Jan. 16, 2026.

That theory conflicts with comments he made to Vanity Fair, in which Rocky suggested the project would arrive in 2025. He also revealed Danny Elfman contributed to the project.

“Danny Elfman, he just did my album with me that I’m putting out this year,” Rocky previously said. “He scored a bunch of the songs on my new album.”

While no release date has been announced, Rocky has said Burton had a good reaction to the album. “I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was f****** with it heavy,” he recalled to Billboard.

Rocky also cited Burton as a longtime influence, previously telling Vanity Fair, “I love Tim Burton, man. I’ve been inspired by him [since I was] a child.”

If you’ll be traveling to Tasmania to see Foo Fighters‘ sold-out stadium concert on the Australian island state, you won’t have to “Learn to Fly” yourself.

The airline Virgin Australia has announced extra flights around the Jan. 24 show, which adds about 700 extra seats. The newly added trips include two additional return services between Melbourne and the Tasmania city of Launceston on Jan. 23-25, and two additional return services between Sydney and Launceston on Jan. 24-25.

The Foos concert also coincides with the 2026 Australia Day weekend celebration.

“We have the broadest jet network between Launceston and the mainland, with direct services from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, making it easier for fans to fly directly to the concert,” says Virgin Australia Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer Alistair Hartley in statement. “It’s shaping up to be one of the busiest travel weekends of 2026 for northern Tasmania, and we’ll keep monitoring bookings to determine if more seats are needed.”

As previously reported, the Foo Fighters Tasmania show sold out in “record time,” according to promoter Frontier Touring.

“We have a very special relationship with Tasmania – as we do with all of Australia,” frontman Dave Grohl said.

Foo Fighters’ other live plans include a Jan. 14 benefit concert in Los Angeles, which celebrates Grohl’s birthday, and a full U.S. stadium tour launching in August.

Back in September 2024, Lady Gaga performed a “secret” concert at LA’s Belasco Theatre to promote her then-newly released album Harlequin, a companion to her movie Joker: Folie à Deux. Now we may finally get to see it.

On her Instagram Story on Tuesday night, reposted by a fan, Gaga shared a video that showed an empty stage with a drum kit on it; the word “Harlequin” is scrawled on the bass drum. Next to that was a carton of “Gayle Valley Farms” milk, the same carton that was originally used to announce the album and its track listing. The video ends with the words “Coming Soon.”

According to Variety, which reviewed the concert, the Belasco show “was utterly bonkers but also one of the best things [Gaga]’s ever done.” It featured Gaga performing the Harlequin album in its entirety, as well as a solo rendition of “Die With a Smile.”

Among the songs she performed, included on the album, were the standards and show tunes “I’ve Got the World on a String,” “Smile,” “Get Happy,” “If My Friends Could See Me Now” and “That’s Life.”

Harlequin is currently nominated for a Grammy for best traditional pop album, which might be what has prompted the show’s release.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin gave a surprise performance at a couple’s recent wedding in England.

In footage posted by the BBC, you can see Martin, wearing a white beanie, sitting at a piano and playing the song “ALL MY LOVE,” a cut off Coldplay’s 2024 album, Moon Music.

According to the BBC, the groom’s mother sent a message to Martin asking if he could record a video for the couple. He instead decided to fly in by helicopter and perform in person.

“I’m very happy for the couple,” says venue owner Alexander Brown. “It made their special day extra special, I couldn’t quite believe it.”

Perhaps Martin felt compelled to celebrate the beginning of a relationship after the biggest Coldplay headline of 2025 involved possibly ending one. During a July show in Boston, Coldplay inadvertently caught a couple seemingly engaging in an affair when they appeared on the big screen during a kiss-cam segment.

Though the pair ducked out of frame when they realized they were on camera, the internet quickly identified them as Kristin Cabot and Andy Byron, two executives at a company called Astronomer. Both resigned after the incident.

Myles Smith has been doing free pop-up shows in pubs along the East Coast for the past few days, and on Tuesday he brought a friend along with him.

Myles and Alex Warren, who’ve become good pals, showed up at Kelly’s Irish Times pub in Washington, D.C., attracting hundreds of rabid fans. In footage posted on Instagram and TikTok, Myles leads the crowd in an a cappella sing-along of Alex’s #1 hit “Ordinary,” before they sing Myles’ hit “Stargazing” at the top of their lungs.

“Random Tuesday with @alexwarren most fun l’ve had in a while,” Myles captioned the Instagram post. The text on the video reads, “POV: you and your best friend shut down a bar in [sic] a random Tuesday.”

“Alex and Myles being actual friends is one of the best things ever,” commented one fan.

The D.C. gig was the final performance of the year for both Alex and Myles. Next year, Alex launches his first headlining arena tour, while Myles will be opening for his and Alex’s mutual pal Ed Sheeran on Ed’s LOOP stadium tour.

Jack Black paid tribute to late director Rob Reiner during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, calling the This Is Spinal Tap filmmaker “such an incredible inspiration to me.”

“There is no Tenacious D without Spinal Tap,” Black said.

This Is Spinal Tap, which was released in 1984, is a mockumentary about a fictional metal band called Spinal Tap. The film, which marked Reiner’s directorial debut, became a cult favorite and eventually inspired a sequel, Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, that just premiered in September.

“I just wanted to really quick give a shoutout for one of the biggest inspirations in my life and send love to the universe to one of the greats,” Black said of Reiner. “He brought so much joy.”

Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer, 68, were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday. Their son, Nick Reiner, has been arrested for murder.

On This Day, Dec. 17, 1949: Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers was born

On This Day, Dec. 17, 1949…

Singer Paul Rodgers was born in Middlesbrough, England.

Rodgers would go on to form the rock band Free in 1968 with drummer Simon Kirke, guitarist Paul Kossoff and bassist Andy Fraser. The band landed a #1 hit with ”All Right Now,” which Rodgers co-wrote with Fraser.

After their breakup, Rodgers and Kirke formed the supergroup Bad Company with Mott The Hoople’s Mick Ralphs and the King Crimson’s Boz Burrell.

Bad Company’s self-titled debut album was released in 1974 and hit #1 thanks to such classic songs as “Can’t Get Enough” and the title track. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025.

After leaving Bad Company in 1982, Rodgers launched a successful solo career and fronted the band The Law, featuring former Faces drummer Kenney Jones. He also toured and recorded an album with Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor under the name Queen + Paul Rodgers.

In 2023, Rodgers released Midnight Rose, his first solo album in almost 25 years, and revealed to the world he had suffered a series of strokes starting in 2016 that nearly took away his ability to sing.

Brett Young’s Christmas gift-giving dilemma

As the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season consumes many of us these days, take comfort from Brett Young.

Even he has trouble finding that perfect gift, which is complicated by the fact that his wife, Taylor Mills Young, is so good at it.

“She’s like the most thoughtful gift giver,” Brett says. “I’m sure that no matter how well I do, I’ll still be like in the shadows of whatever her idea was.”

“And it’s always even more special because I don’t know when she had time to, like, think it up and make it happen,” he continues. “So, it’s demoralizing. I can never win the gift-giving game, but I’ve surrendered to it at this point.”

Brett and Taylor tied the knot in November 2018 and have two daughters, 6-year-old Presley Young and 4-year-old Rowan Young.
