Offset and Cardi B may no longer be together, but he still wants to see her win. He shared his support for her and her upcoming album when stopped by a photographer working for TMZ.

“Are your kids gonna have both their parents nominated for album of the year?” the photographer asked, to which Offset responded, “For sure.”

He then denied that the two would be competing against each other. “I just want all peace, man, for us to win, everybody gotta win,” he said. “We got kids to take care of, we got to catch the dubs.”

He then teased that Cardi’s upcoming album is “hard” and added, “She’s gonna do her big one, too.”

Of his own album Kiari, Offset said it’s his best solo work to the date.

“It was an album that meant a lot to me—after my name, you know what I mean? Just me being personal, me being vulnerable, about life, and people like it … and that’s a blessing, man,” he told TMZ.

Kiari is now available on DSPs. Cardi’s upcoming Am I the Drama? album, however, will arrive on Sept. 19. She’s been promoting it with jokes that she’s a single mother working to avoid going back to the strip club and that Atlantic Records cut her budget, forcing her to “go on the road and sell these CDs and vinyl myself.”

She will also be making some in-store appearances, where fans will have the opportunity to meet her. Locations include Looney Tunes in Long Island and Fingerprints in Long Beach.

Cash Cobain had to go back on a statement he made about Jay-Z possibly releasing new music. During an interview with Billboard Unfiltered Live on Sept. 3, he said that Hov might be dropping a new project.

“The king of New York is Jay-Z. It’s Jay-Z. Multi-Platinum albums [and] president of Def Jam. He’s like the richest rapper, right? What didn’t he do?” he said of the Brooklyn star. “I heard Jay-Z is about to drop some s*** that’s gonna shake the world. That’s what I heard.”

Cash later took to X to share that the rumors he’d fueled weren’t true.

“Dam just got off the phone with Hov lol thank yall,” he wrote on Sept. 9. He followed up with a post about what they’d discussed: “When I was on the phone with Hov he said that he is absolutely not dropping an album. that messed me up tho.”

Cash wasn’t the only one contributing to the speculation of a new Jay-Z release. Producer and former Roc-A-Fella Records signee Memphis Bleek previously told Drink Champs that Hov didn’t deny that he was cooking something up.

“I just was with him in Vegas,” he recalled. “He just came out on the show, and my n****, they went stupid. I said, ‘Listen, I know you workin. Save me a verse.'” According to Memphis, Jay replied, “All right, I got you.”

Jay-Z’s last release was in 2017, when he dropped 4:44.

Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks have released the track “Frozen Love” off the upcoming reissue of their only studio album as a duo, 1973’s Buckingham Nicks.

The former couple announced the track’s release by posting on Instagram archival photos of them performing together.

“Frozen Love” actually played a role in the duo’s tease of the project. They offered the first inkling of something happening by sharing complimentary posts on social media, with each including a lyric from the tune. Stevie offered a post with the lyric “if you go forward” written in cursive, while Lindsey shared a similarly styled post with the words “I’ll meet you there,” both from the song.

“Frozen Love” is now available via digital outlets.

Buckingham Nicks is being released Sept. 19, digitally, on CD and on vinyl, with newly remastered sound. This will mark the first-ever reissue of the album, which has been unavailable for decades.

To coincide with the reissue, the pair is selling a limited-edition T-shirt and print, both featuring the album’s iconic cover, in which they are both shirtless.

While Buckingham Nicks wasn’t a commercial success, shortly after the release Mick Fleetwood heard a track from the album, which led to him inviting Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac. Buckingham insisted his then-girlfriend Nicks come with him, and the pair officially joined the band on New Year’s Eve 1974.

Back in May, A Perfect Circle‘s Billy Howerdel told ABC Audio that plans were in the works for a 25th anniversary edition of the band’s debut album, Mer de Noms. Those plans are now complete.

Sept. 25 will bring a two-LP zoetrope vinyl edition of the album, and Oct. 10 will see the release of a One-Step DSS audiophile version.

The zoetrope vinyl has four different animations, one on each side of the vinyl, including the band’s glyphs, images from their first photo shoot, clips of the David Fincher-directed video for “Judith” and the APC logo.

The One-Step DSS version is the definitive audiophile version of the album, created from files transferred from analog flat masters. It’s limited to 3,000 numbered copies.

Mer de Noms, which means “sea of names” in French, was originally released May 23, 2000, and debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200. At the time, it was the highest-charting debut album by a rock band. The album’s three singles — “Judith,” “3 Libras” and “The Hollow” — all hit the top 20 on Billboard‘s Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts.

A Perfect Circle was formed by Tool‘s Maynard James Keenan and Howerdel, who’d worked as a tech for Tool, Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins. Mer de Noms includes includes contributions from musicians like Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, former Pixies bassist Paz Lenchantin and drummer Josh Freese, who until recently was playing with Foo Fighters and is now touring with Nine Inch Nails.

A Perfect Circle performs at the Louder Than Life festival on Sept. 20 and the Aftershock festival on Oct. 2.

Cardi B has three kids and a desire to have even more. She explains why in an upcoming episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show.

“It’s like the more kids you have, the less of a possibility you go to a home. One of them is going to wipe my butt,” she says.

She boasted about the qualities she believes son Wave Set and daughter Kulture Kiari have gotten from her, noting she’s still “trying to figure out” her youngest daughter, Blossom Belle.

“My son, he’s like funny like me, and he [does] a lot of faces that I do … and then he’s a little bad,” Cardi says. “And then my daughter, she’s very girly like me. Like, she’s very, she got a little sass. But she’s, she’s a good girl.”

Despite their luxurious lifestyle, she adds her kids are well-rounded individuals who are aware of life outside their home.

“They have a lot of cousins and a lot of my friends. They still outside. They still in the hood and everything,” she says, noting her children were “just in the Dominican Republic,” where her grandmother made them clean.

“I want them to know that it’s like, there’s another world out there that’s not your world,” she says. “It’s not always about backyard and foxes and deers. There’s rats and mice.”

So far, Cardi says, her kids have been really receptive to it.

“My kids, they really enjoy going to like, I guess, the hood,” she says. “They love going to their cousin’s house.”

“They love going to my dad’s house and stuff like that,” she continues. “They’re very well-rounded.”
