If there’s one compliment that stays rent free in Keke Palmer‘s mind, it’s that she reminds Eddie Murphy of himself when he was younger. While eating spicy chicken in the latest episode of Hot Ones, she shared her reaction to hearing Eddie make that comparison.

“I was out of my mind. I couldn’t believe that the Eddie Murphy said that I reminded him of him,” Keke said. “Honestly, I feel like I wake up in the morning and I think about it.”

She also expressed her love for Eddie while praising his talent as an actor.

“I love Eddie Murphy! Eddie Murphy is such an incredible actor and the things that he’s done have never been done and will never be done again,” Keke continued. “I mean, he’s iconic. … I couldn’t believe it. I love ya, Eddie.”

Keke and Eddie worked together on the film The Pickup, which was released on Prime Video in August. While promoting the movie, he shared his admiration for Keke and her many talents.

“I was just watching her thinking how great she was,” Eddie told ETalk, admitting that he wasn’t too familiar with her work ahead of their time on set. He said he discovered more about her while making the movie and noticed her ability to adapt to her different roles.

“She’s interested, and she does so much stuff. And that she sings and does all this stuff, I was like, ‘Wow,'” Eddie continued. “She kind of reminds me of the way I used to do everything when I was younger.”

Keke’s full episode of Hot Ones is now available to watch on YouTube.

Travis Kelce has no issue talking about his relationship with Taylor Swift, but Taylor’s friend Gracie Abrams doesn’t have a boyfriend who’s quite as forthcoming.

Gracie is dating Irish actor Paul Mescal, but when asked by Rolling Stone what led to them confirming their relationship on Instagram in July, he says, “I don’t know how to answer that.” Prior to that, Gracie had walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in May to support Mescal at the opening of his film The History of Sound.

“I actually do have an answer,” he continues. “But everything to do with that is deeply precious to me,” noting he wanted to protect “those things.”

In December 2024, Gracie said having her relationship put in the spotlight “has nothing to do with me,” adding, “It doesn’t affect me.”

By contrast, British actor Louis Partridge recently said he had no problem being known as “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo,” because he’s dating the “drivers license” star.

After teaming up for their Ozzy Osbourne tribute at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 7, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry are once again collaborating with Yungblud, this time on a new song.

The artists first teased that something was up with a post on Instagram. It features a video in which Tyler and Yungblud share a big hug, before Tyler sings, “We got a secret and nobody knows it.”

Well, that secret is apparently out now, with Yungblud sharing a video of him, Tyler and Perry in the studio recording a song together, with the post captioned, “My Only Angel.”

Tyler, Perry and Yungblud teamed up to perform “Mama, I’m Coming Home” on the MTV VMAs, ending their performance by shouting “Ozzy Osbourne forever.”

Tyler and Yungblud also performed at the Back to the Beginning concert on July 5, which was the final live performance by Ozzy and the original Black Sabbath lineup. Ozzy died just over two weeks later on July 22.

One of the biggest records of 2025 is officially by a group that doesn’t technically exist.

“Golden” by HUNTR/X, the animated K-pop girl group in the Neflix film KPop Demon Hunterstops the Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth week. The song is now the longest-running #1 by an animated group in the history of the chart.

The two previous #1 hits by animated groups each only ruled for four weeks. They were “The Chipmunk Song” by the Chipmunks with David Seville in 1958 and “Sugar Sugar” by The Archies in 1969.

Of course, the voices behind HUNTR/X are real people: singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI. According to Billboard, they’re now tied for third place for the record of the longest-running #1 by an all-female group of three or more members, behind TLC‘s “Waterfalls” and Destiny’s Child‘s “Independent Women Part 1.” They’re tied with The Emotions‘ 1977 hit “Best of My Love,” which also spent five weeks on top.

The Hot 100 also includes “Ordinary” by Alex Warren at #2, Sabrina Carpenter‘s “Manchild” at #3 and her song “Tears” at #6, and three additional songs from KPop Demon Hunters: “Soda Pop,” “Your Idol” and “How It’s Done.”

50 Cent is giving fans a visual of his level of discipline as he prepares for his role as Balrog in the live-action adaptation of Street Fighter.

He shared a clip on Instagram of him jumping rope while dressed as his character. “I don’t expect you to understand my level of discipline but watch it, it’s entertaining,” he captioned the video. “Street Fighter Coming soon, then Street Fighter ll BALROG @50centaction.”

Alongside the second clip, in which he was punching a training bag, 50 wrote, “Work hard when they hardly working, and they will be surprised at the outcome.”

50’s discipline was also mentioned in G-Unit member Tony Yayo‘s recent interview with Cam Newton. He said 50’s current success is due to his work ethic and intense regimen.

“I think you got to be a little crazy to be successful, and that’s what 50 Cent is. 50 Cent is really crazy,” Tony said. “Like right now, we just did a tour. He flew to Australia to do Street Fighter. He doesn’t even want to take a break. He’s crazy.”

He continued, “Something is really wrong with him. He’ll go to the gym three times a day … getting ready for the Street Fighter film. Getting ready for what he do, and I gotta respect it.”

Street Fighter is a popular fighting video game that launched in 1987. A film based on the series was released in 1994, following Colonel Guile as he enlisted the help of street fighters to bring down military dictator and drug kingpin General M. Bison and his Shadaloo empire.

The live-action adaptation will be directed by Kitao Sakurai; it’s set to arrive on Oct. 16, 2026.
