Sleep Token brought their sold-out arena tour to Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena Wednesday night, and being one state over from New Jersey apparently gave them some inspiration for their set list.

Fan-shot footage posted to YouTube shows the U.K. metal band’s anonymous masked frontman Vessel behind the keyboards as he treats the crowd to a cover of New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 hit “Dancing in the Dark.” According to setlist.fm, the performance served as an intro to their song “Rain.”

“Dancing in the Dark,” from Springsteen’s #1 album Born in the U.S.A., peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The video for the song is notable for the appearance of a pre-Friends fame Courteney Cox

Sleep Token kicked off their U.S. arena tour in Duluth, Georgia, on Sept. 16. The shows are in support of their #1 album Even in Arcadia, which was released in May.

The tour hits Detroit, Michigan, on Friday. A complete list of dates can be found at Sleep-Token.com.

Major League Baseball has joined forces with Pharrell to launch the 2025 MLB postseason with October Hits Different, a brand campaign bringing music and baseball together. He stars in the spot with a 25-piece live orchestra comprised of students from the University of Miami and the Voices of Fire choir, whose song “Are You Ready?” soundtracks the video.

Also featured in the campaign are clips of MLB stars Aaron Judge, Kyle Schwarber, Cal Raleigh and more.

“Virginia taught me the power of music and community,” Pharrell said in a statement. “Bringing Voices of Fire to the Postseason stage shows how those same forces of unity can come alive through sport.”

October Hits Different will appear across MLB media outlets, other paid digital media sites and MLB social media platforms throughout the postseason, which starts on Sept. 30.

The announcement follows Pharrell’s performance at the Vatican alongside Voices of Fire, who recently released a new album, Ophanium. A Pharrell production, the album features “Are You Ready?” the official anthem of the 2025 MLB Postseason.

After a breakup, some people get rid of — or even burn — everything that reminds them of that relationship. But evidently Miley Cyrus isn’t one of those people.

Speaking to Vogue, Miley explains that she’s in the process of creating what she calls “a legacy rack,” which she describes as “a couple of looks from every era that I would want to be remembered.” Among the items that she’s cataloging, she says, are some of the things she wore during her romance with her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.

“I literally have a dress that I had on when I met my ex-husband, and then I have my dress that I wore on our first date, along with letters and things,” she tells Vogue. But don’t expect her to put all these mementos on display in a Miley museum.

“I want to savor these kind of beautiful moments of my life, but because these intimate moments have also been public moments, it’s a little bit tough to decide what piece I want to share and what I would ever allow to be seen,” she says.

Miley and Liam met in 2009 on the set of the movie The Last Song and then began dating. The Hunger Games actor proposed in 2012, but the couple called off their engagement in 2013. Three years later they reconciled and eventually got married in 2018. They separated the following year, with Hemsworth subsequently filing for divorce, which became final in 2020.

“Everything I do in my life is a little bit intense, but it has to be holistic,” Miley says of cataloging the memories. “And that’s why my eras, they’re not a costume, they’re actually like a metamorphosis or a true evolution for me personally.”

Amazon is also marking the occasion by putting out several Amazon Music Originals, starting with the Game Day Version of Kane Brown‘s “2 Pair,” which features a marching band.

“I love that my fans have made ‘2 Pair’ the song of the summer,” Kane says. “So how about a version for the football season with a drumline and marching band?”

“Hope this gets you pumped up. Go Dawgs!” he adds, which is a reference to University of Georgia football, of course.

Tucker Wetmore‘s take on The Georgia Satellites‘ “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” follows on Oct. 10.

After what was an incredibly obvious tease, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has confirmed that Taylor Swift will appear on the show Oct. 6.

The show initially posted an Instagram video with the caption, “Not a lot going on at the moment,” which is a phrase that Taylor has used in the past to indicate that she indeed does have something going on.

Jimmy Fallon is seen in the video staring at a roulette wheel before putting chips down on the numbers 10, 6 and 25 — indicating that Taylor would appear on the show on Oct. 6, 2025, three days after her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, drops. Then he spins the wheel, which stops on 13, Taylor’s lucky number.

After grimacing at his loss, Fallon shrugs and says, “Baby, that’s show business for you.” That was the caption of the Instagram post in which Taylor announced the new album.

And as if the post couldn’t get any more obvious, a crowd of showgirls then walks by Fallon, saying, “Excuse us, honey.”

The show then officially confirmed the news, as did the Taylor Nation Instagram feed, reposting Fallon’s video on its Story with the caption, “Our curtain call on Oct. 6 will be a bit late. Watch Taylor on @fallontonight @nbc.”

Taylor often makes The Tonight Show a stop when she’s doing press. She last appeared in 2022, after the release of Midnights.

Anderson .Paak‘s latest venture benefits youth who play soccer in Ventura County, California. It’s a partnership with GOAL Projects, a new initiative from GOAL, for which he designed soccer kits for the Oxnard Eagles girls soccer teams. The kit includes a black soccer ball, T-shirt and a limited-edition soccer jersey featuring the font used for several of Paak’s album covers, the #86 in honor of his birth year, the GOAL logo on the front and “Yes Lawd” on the back.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Oxnard Eagles team, and will be used to provide scholarships and help cover expenses like rent, practice equipment and transportation.

“Man, you have an opportunity to uplift kids in the same streets where I made my way, you give me a call,” Paak tells Billboard. “When GOAL came to me with this idea, I was all in. It wasn’t just about a jersey; it was about connecting music and soccer — two things that bring people together everywhere.”

“And the fact that every jersey helps out the Oxnard Eagles, these amazing young girls from my hometown? That’s the part that made it a no-brainer,” he continued. “It’s bigger than sport. It’s about community and giving these kids the chance to shine.”

The Anderson .Paak x GOAL Projects collection is now available at online and will be sold in person at the .Paak House Festival, taking place Oct. 11 on the California State University Channel Islands campus.

“.Paak House has always been about giving my community a VIP experience, showing kids and families that they deserve the same love and spotlight as anybody else,” says Paak. “It’s about creating spaces where people can come together, celebrate and feel supported.”

The Rolling Stones have released a video for “Shame, Shame, Shame,” a cover of the Shirley & Company track that will appear on their upcoming reissue of their 1976 album Black and Blue.

The clip, directed by Dutch filmmaker Camille Boumans, features a collage of rare archival photos of The Stones, combined with hand-drawn animation.

The track is one of several outtakes and jams that will appear on the super deluxe edition of Black and Blue, dropping Nov. 14. The set also includes a 2025 remix of the album by producer Steven Wilson, and a recording of a 1976 concert at Earls Court in London, which was part of a six-night residency at the venue.

The super-deluxe edition of Black and Blue will be released as a five-LP or four-CD set. Both come with a Blu-ray that includes the Wilson remix and the Earls Court concert in Dolby Atmos, plus an unreleased TV broadcast of the band’s 1976 concert at Les Abattoirs in Paris.

The Black and Blue reissue will also be released in a variety of other formats, including a limited-edition five-LP black and blue marbled vinyl set; two-disc and one-disc formats on both vinyl and CD; and a limited-edition zoetrope vinyl.
