Mariah Carey is returning to her native Long Island, New York, to do an in-store record signing Tuesday night. She’ll be appearing at the noted indie record store Looney Tunes for the sold-out event. The good news? You won’t have FOMO, because there are absolutely no photos allowed at the event.

Remember those stick-on freckles that went viral after Taylor Swift wore them to a Chiefs game? Now the company, Fazit, has two new products to go along with Taylor’s new album: Show Stopping Speckles and Show Stopping Eye Wings in The Life of a Showgirl-themed colors. The products will also be featured in Walmart racks near where the album is being sold.

More details are emerging about Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco‘s wedding fashion — well, Benny’s, anyway. People reports that Benny’s wedding ring, designed by Jacob & Co., has their wedding date — 9-27-25 — engraved inside. There’s also a tiny ruby and a tiny aquamarine, which are Selena and Benny’s birthstones, respectively. One of Benny’s looks for the wedding weekend was a Levi’s custom denim beaded ensemble worn with custom Lucchese boots, inside of which Selena wrote a “special note.”

Louis Tomlinson is back with a new single called “Lemonade” and details on his third solo album. Called How Did I Get Here, it’s due out Jan. 23. The former One Direction member says in a statement, “I sum up it as ‘The record I always deserved to make.’ My bread and butter is my honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. … For the first time now, I’m allowing myself to be the artist I’d always hoped to be.”

A new documentary celebrating the 50th anniversary of Harry Chapin’s classic song “Cat’s in the Cradle” is coming to DVD and streaming on Nov. 4.

Harry Chapin – Cat’s in the Cradle: The Song That Changed Our Lives, directed by Rick Korn, delves into the lasting impact of the iconic tune. It features interviews with artists like Billy Joel, Pat Benatar, Chicago’s Robert Lamm, Judy Collins, Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, Run-DMC’s Darryl McDaniels and more.

“What makes this song so amazing is the multi-generational and multi-cultural effect it has on people around the world even to this day,” says Korn.

“My father wrote many unforgettable story songs but ‘Cat’s in the Cradle’ is by far his best known and it continues to have an impact on millions of people around the world,” says the singer’s son Jason Chapin, who’s a producer on the film. “I’m thrilled at how the film captures so many wonderful stories about the song and my father told by music legends, fans, family and others.”

On Nov. 1 the film will get a special benefit screening at the Cinema Arts Centre in Harry’s hometown of Huntington, Long Island, with proceeds going to Long Island Cares and the Cinema Arts Centre of Huntington.

Released in October 1974, “Cat’s in the Cradle” tells the story of the relationship between a father and a son. It written by Harry and his wife, Sandy Chapin, and hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was the singer/songwriter’s only chart-topper. The tune earned Chapin a Grammy nod for best male pop vocal performance in 1975. In 2011 the tune was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Nicki Minaj reignited her longstanding feud with Cardi B Monday following the first-week sales of Cardi’s new album, Am I the Drama? She seemingly suggested Cardi inflated album sales with a post that read “4.99,” the cost of Cardi’s album on iTunes.

Nicki also mocked Cardi’s song “Magnet,” replacing the lyrics with bars that take aim at Cardi and her pregnancy. “Abcdefgeeeee/ Fallin off the charts wit a big bellyyyy/ RUNNING TRAINS/ Barefoot, still smellyyyyy/ Still. You. Could. Not. outsell. meeeeee,” Nicki wrote of Cardi, who she nicknamed “Barney B.” The posts have since been deleted.

Cardi caught wind of the shots and responded with her own slew of messages to the Queens rapper. “Nothing more annoying than a bored btch,” she wrote.

She followed up with her own remix to “Magnet,” featuring bars that take aim at Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender, and her brother Jelani Maraj, who was convicted of predatory assault against an 11-year-old girl.

In later posts, she questioned why Nicki was poking fun at her pregnancy and comparing herself to a rapper in another generation.

“Why you keep bringing up my album?? It’s not the gag that you think it is,” Cardi wrote. “You been in the game like 16 years.. you need to compare yourself to YOUR peers that started around YOUR time. Rihanna, Taylor [S]wiftDrake…those are the numbers you need to be competing wit and you can’t cuz you doing lower than all of them.”

Am I the Drama? is now double Platinum.

Listen to new music from New Found Glory & Bowling for Soup

It’s a big day for fans of late ’90s/early 2000s pop-punk.

New Found Glory has announced a new album called Listen Up!, due out Feb. 20, 2026. Listen Up! marks the first original record from the “My Friends Over You” outfit in nearly six years.

“The overall message/theme of this album is to encourage hope through hard times, while also looking at the world as somewhat of a fly on a wall: seeing people’s fear, negativity, and stress about small things that only scratch the surface of what life will eventually – but bring in a hopeful way,” NFG says. “We want to encourage hope that the hard times will bring growth and strength. So the music is super fun and anthemic and loose feeling. We’re singing loud and proud about the scars and not in a pity party sort of way.”

Listen Up! includes the previously released song “100%.” A second cut, called “Laugh It Off,” is out now.

Meanwhile, Bowling for Soup has premiered a new single called “Holding on to That Hate,” marking their first original material since 2022.

“Spreading a message of moving on and positivity through their expert self depreciating lens mixed with Bowling for Soup’s trademark charm and wit, ‘Holding on to That Hate’ is set to become a new favorite of Bowling for Soup fans old and new across the generations,” a press release reads.

Bowling for Soup is also putting out a new live album, A Hangover You Definitely Deserve, on Oct. 24.
