Last year Noah Kahan experienced what he said were “the greatest two nights of my life” — headlining two shows at Boston’s iconic Fenway Park. He’ll be returning to that location for a special event in November.

Noah will headline a benefit concert Nov. 20 at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway, a venue that’s adjacent to the stadium. It will raise funds for his own Busyhead Project, as well as the Red Sox Foundation. Fans can register to buy tickets online.

The Busyhead Project is a nonprofit mental health initiative that Noah founded to raise awareness of and reduce stigma around mental health, as well as provide resources to those in need. The Red Sox Foundation is the official team charity of the Boston Red Sox, which provides grants to help children, families, veterans and communities in need.

Noah wrote on his Instagram Story Monday, “If you know me you know how important this is to me and I’m stoked for it. … Hope to see you in Boston.”

Noah’s concerts at Fenway Park, which he described as “transcendent and magical,” were documented on the concert album Live From Fenway Park.

Bonnie Raitt and Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir are among the artists appearing in an upcoming concert film celebrating the life of Americana artist John Prine.

You Got Gold – A Celebration of John Prine focuses on a star-studded Prine tribute concert that took place at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium in October 2022. The film features performances from the show and interviews with those who took part.

Other artists featured in the film include Brandi Carlile, Kacey Musgraves, Tyler Childers, Steve Earle, Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams and Lyle Lovett.

You Got Gold – A Celebration of John Prine will open with a weeklong engagement at the QUAD in New York on Nov. 28, followed by screenings across North America.

Prine, known for such songs as “Paradise” and “Angel From Montgomery,” passed away in April 2020 due to COVID-related complications. The film captures the first tribute concert organized by his wife, Fiona Whelan Prine. A fourth and final tribute is scheduled to take place at the Ryman Auditorium on Friday.

Chris Brown ended his time in Atlanta by giving flowers to one of the city’s biggest stars.  He brought Usher out during Breezy Bowl XX’s final tour stop in the A, then proceeded to sing Usher’s praises, noting the impact he’s had on his career.

“This [is] my motherf****** brother for life. I’m so happy to be sharing the same stage with him,” Chris said of Usher, with whom he collaborated on “New Flame” and “Party.”

“I know me and [Bow Wow], earlier, we came up young. We came up looking at him, Michael Jackson, a couple other people. Ain’t too many people f****** with Usher,” he continued. “I’m just being real — he’s the greatest. My brother, I appreciate you.”

Brown also brought GloRilla and Bow Wow out to perform.

In other Chris Brown news, his Memphis show on Oct. 18 has been canceled, according to Ticketmaster. Promoter Oak View Group attributed the cancellation to renovations at the venue.

The final Breezy Bowl XX tour show now takes place Oct. 16.

“Heart of Stone” has become Jelly Roll‘s eighth consecutive #1, as it assumes its place at the top of the country chart.

That means every song he’s ever promoted to country radio has made it to #1, giving him the second-longest streak, just behind Luke Combs, who has 14 in a row.

The third single from his Beautifully Broken album follows “Liar,” which topped the chart for six weeks starting in February.

Meanwhile, Jelly could add to his trophy collection as his other hit, “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Brandon Lake, competes for song, bluegrass/country/roots recorded song and short form music video of the year (performance) at Christian music’s Dove Awards. The show’s set to air Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET on TBN.

By now we’ve probably all heard that Taylor Swift attended Selena Gomez‘s September wedding to Benny Blanco and gave a speech. On Monday Selena shared a behind-the-scenes video of herself getting ready for her big moment, with Taylor sitting next to her gushing about how beautiful she looks.

In the video we see Selena, in full hair and makeup, getting her veil adjusted as Taylor sits next to her, wearing a shiny gold floral gown and filming her with her camera. “Are you even serious?” Taylor gasps. “What? Look at her! Oh my God!”

“I’m so happy,” Selena says, grinning from ear to ear.  “Oh my God,” Taylor repeats.

“I’m getting married,” adds Selena. “Finally!”

There’s also a photo of the two sharing a cocktail in the dressing room and then hugging each other on the dance floor during the reception.

“In honor of SHOWGIRL .. blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator!” Selena captioned the post. “I love you @taylorswift forever and always.”

Will Lady Gaga face against with Barbra Streisand at the Grammys?

Will Lady Gaga face against with Barbra Streisand at the Grammys?
Lady Gaga ‘Harlequin’ album (Interscope)

While Lady Gaga is expected to receive multiple Grammy nominations in November for her album Mayhem, another one of her albums has been submitted as a contender.

First-round Grammy voting is now taking place and runs through Oct. 15. According to Billboard, Gaga has submitted her 2024 album, Harlequin — featuring alternate takes of songs she recorded for her movie Joker: Folie à Deux — in the category of best traditional pop vocal album. It’s a category she’s won twice before, for the two albums she made with Tony Bennett.

According to Billboard, that means Gaga may end up going up against her friend Elton John, who’s entered his album with Brandi Carlile, Who Believes In Angels?, in the same category. But she may also be competing against Barbra Streisand, whose all-star duets album The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume 2 has also been submitted.

Billboard predicts that Gaga, Elton and Barbra will all receive nominations, as will an artist who duets with Barbra on her album: Laufey. The Icelandic vocalist won the category two years ago. Her latest album, A Matter of Time, may also get a nod.

As for the fifth slot in the category, Billboard reports that the contenders include Seth McFarlane for his album Lush Life: The Lost Sinatra Arrangements; Jennifer Hudson‘s holiday release, The Gift of Love; and actor Jeff Goldblum‘s jazz album Still Blooming. Albums by Christina Aguilera, Belinda Carlisle and Stephen Bishop have also been submitted.

We’ll find out Nov. 7 who made the cut when Grammy nominations are announced. The Grammy Awards will take place Feb. 1, 2026.
