Hit-Boy has two albums on the way: Goldfish, his collaboration with The Alchemist, and Software Update. Speaking to Billboard about the latter, he says the title was inspired by moves he’s made to improve his life.

“Man, it’s just been years of me trying to figure it out,” he begins. “Investing in myself, trying out different creatives and switching my sound up and I just got to this point in life where it’s like I had to step back and be like, ‘Yo, I got to dial in on who I really want to present myself as.’ And it’s like I had to just start digging deep.”

Hit-Boy admits he was forced into making these changes when his father returned to jail after his 2023 release.

“It kind of just took me back to that place of when I was a kid, just feeling that absence again. This time it was even worse ‘cuz we actually had motion. Like, he was really making money,” he says. “It was a lot going on, and that was kind of the final straw for me to be like, ‘Yo, I got to fall back on everything and everybody, and just really invest in myself on the level I need to.’”

Hit-Boy tells Billboard focusing on himself for the first time has “just opened my world.”

“I moved to a new studio. I got so much more space now and I got more things I can utilize within my operation,” he shares. “It’s just opened up my eyes to everything I did up to now. … That was me turning the game on. Now it’s really time to play.”

Software Update does not have a release date; the Goldfish album and film arrive Oct. 24.

A very hard bed and a heart-shaped toilet are just two of the features of Sabrina Carpenter‘s Short n’ Sweet tour stage set — and you can win a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at it, thanks to Airbnb.

The latest Airbnb Original experience will give 20 eligible guests the opportunity to experience a day on Sabrina’s set, which is designed to resemble a vintage TV show. Taking place Nov. 18 in LA, the experience starts with a photo shoot and then time spent exploring the replica of the set, including the heart-shaped toilet that Sabrina specifically requested, but only she gets to see.

Guests will then go to hair and makeup, where they’ll get tips from Sabrina’s personal glam team and dress in outfits inspired by the ones Sabrina wears onstage, like silk robes and glitter tights. Then Sabrina will introduce guests to her choreographer, who will teach them a routine. The day ends with everyone enjoying a nonalcoholic espresso beverage.

Now through Oct. 20, you can request to book the Star in Short n’ Sweet TV with Sabrina Carpenter experience. Transportation and accommodations aren’t included, and you must be at least 18 to book.

“It’s so surreal to invite you into my penthouse on Airbnb,” Sabrina says in a statement. “The Short n’ Sweet tour wouldn’t exist without my fans, and it only feels right to end it together, in the place I’ve called home over these past two years.”

The Human After All Remixes vinyl joins the list of Daft Punk-related happenings while the “One More Time” outfit remains split, including a collaboration with Fortnite and Super7 action figures.

Ice Spice has released the music video for her single “Baddie Baddie.” She reunited with The Evil Twins, who directed the visuals for “Gimmie A Light,” “Deli” and more, for the new video, which finds her strutting down the sidewalk, attending fashion shows and walking red carpets.

Wale continues the rollout for his album Everything is A Lot with the release of his new song, “Mirroronnabenz.” The song’s a play on the question the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs asks the magic mirror about her appearance. Everything is A Lot arrives on Nov. 14.

Doechii kicked off her Live from the Swamp Tour Tuesday night at Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. She broke the show down into four lessons, which included performances of songs “Boiled Peanuts,” “Nissan Altima,” “Denial is a River” and a remix of “Persuasive.” Her two sisters also made their debut as her tour dancers. The next show is Friday at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto.

While Cardi B is going on tour following the birth of her fourth child, she wants people to understand she did what was best for her. “I don’t want people thinking that I’m just heading back to work; this is my coping mechanism,” she tells Vogue. “I don’t want everybody thinking it’s the same for them, and I don’t want the system to think because I did it everyone should. Having your first baby really rocks your world. It is a big deal. And it is hard. And it is life-changing.”

Billionaires supporting billionaires: We love to see it.

At Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women conference in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, Selena Gomez revealed some key advice that her BFF and fellow billionaire Taylor Swift shared with her.

“She said, ‘If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room,’” the Rare Beauty founder said. As a result, she makes sure to surround herself with “really incredible people” and isn’t afraid to ask questions.

But Selena also noted that when it came to Rare Beauty, she had to make sure she was working with people who understood what she wanted to do.

“I think a lot of people would have preconceived ideas of what I’m good at, and I should stay in my lane and I should do what I’m here to do,” the singer and actress said. “But what I’m here to do is make a difference.”

Rare Beauty is currently valued at an estimated at $2.7 billion, according to Fortune. But Selena said she’s not resting on her laurels.

“[When] something great happens in my life, I expect something bad to happen,” she said. “Instead of being present and saying, ‘Okay, wow, we’ve done a great thing,’ which I do, but I’m always thinking, ‘Okay, but if this could go all go away tomorrow, so how can I make sure that doesn’t happen?’”

Bon Jovi is getting ready to release another track off their upcoming collaborations album, Forever (Legendary Edition).

The New Jersey rockers are set to drop “We Made It Look Easy,” featuring U.K. pop star Robbie Williams, on Friday.

The band announced the news by sharing an archival clip of Jon Bon Jovi praising Williams during a talk show appearance. He said at the time, “I’ve loved this guy’s music for a lot of years, he’s an incredibly talented guy.” He added, “He’s one of the great entertainers period.”

Forever (Legendary Edition) has Bon Jovi teaming with a whole host of artists to reimagine songs from their 2024 album, Forever.

This is the fourth and final single they are releasing from the album ahead of its Oct. 24 release. They previously released the album’s one new song, “Red, White and Jersey,” as well as “Hollow Man,” a collaboration with Bruce Springsteen, and “Living Proof,” featuring Jelly Roll.

In other Bon Jovi news … Jon made a guest appearance on the podcast Let Me Ask My Dad, hosted by his bandmate David Bryan and Bryan’s daughter Gabby Bryan.

In the episode, Gabby asks Jon what his hair care routine is today compared to the ’80s. Jon replied, “Well, I just pray to the gods that I have it, even though it’s gone ridiculously gray and I’ve had to embrace that.” He noted, “I’m not happy about it.”

He does say he no longer uses all the hairspray he used back in the day. After Bryan joked that their band was responsible for the hole in the ozone, Jon noted, “It was bad.”
