Nothing More has released a cover of the Nine Inch Nails song “We’re in This Together.”

The track has been over a decade in the making, as Nothing More first started working it 11 years ago.

“‘We’re in This Together’ sounds like a love song colliding with a war cry,” says frontman Jonny Hawkins. “[Writer/orator] Alan Watts once said that ‘you are the universe experiencing itself’ — and this song embodies that truth. It’s us against the world, and this song is my inner monologue.”

The original “We’re in This Together” appears on NIN’s 1999 album, The Fragile.

Nothing More’s most recent album is 2024’s CARNAL. They’ll launch a U.S. headlining tour in January.

Neil Young is set to reissue his 1975 album Tonight’s the Night in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

The reissue will feature six bonus tracks, as well as a previously unreleased original version of “Lookout Joe,” which replaces the version on the 1975 release.

Other previously unreleased tracks include “Walk On,” which, like the original “Lookout Joe,” was recorded during Young’s 1973 recording sessions at S.I.R. in Los Angeles, and an alternative take on the album’s title track.

Other bonus tracks include “Wonderin’,” which has previously only been available to stream on the Neil Young Archives website, as well as “Everybody’s Alone,” “Raised on Robbery” featuring Joni Mitchell and “Speakin’ Out Jam,” which appeared on Neil Young Archives Vol II.

The limited-edition Tonight’s the Night 50th Anniversary Edition is set to drop on Nov. 28 with reimagined cover art. It will be released on vinyl, CD and digitally, and will be available at Young’s Greedy Hand Store and independent retailers.

The reissue isn’t the only release from Young this year. He and his band the Chrome Hearts released the new album Talkin’ To the Trees in June. And his Official Release Series Volume 6, featuring 1992’s Harvest Moon, 1993’s Unplugged, 1994’s Sleep With Angels and 1995’s double album Mirror Ball, which he recorded with Seattle rockers Pearl Jam, is dropping Oct. 24.

Are Foo Fighters teasing new music?

Dave Grohl and company have posted a video on Instagram featuring an image of a parrot perched in front of a Foo Fighters logo with what sure sounds like fresh material playing in the background.

The Foos further stir the pot with the accompanying caption, which reads, “About to take flight…”

We’ll have to wait and see if new Foos tunes are indeed in the pipeline. Either that or Grohl is planning to get even deeper into bird-watching.

Foo Fighters put out a new single called “Today’s Song” in July, which was the band’s first original music to follow their 2023 album, But Here We Are. They recently wrapped a tour of Asia after playing a batch of pop-up U.S. shows, which marked their first with new drummer Ilan Rubin.

Jay-Z recently met with Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. Al Nahyan wrote on X that they “discussed the future of the entertainment sector and the technological transformations driven by artificial intelligence in this vital field, as well as the importance of achieving a balance between innovation, data protection, and creators’ rights.”

Three of five members of Danity Kane will be going on tour, the group announced Wednesday, sharing a list of cities on the schedule. It’s unclear which three members will be headed on The Untold Chapter Tour, described as a “reckoning,” a “reunion” and a “revelation.” Tickets go on sale Friday.

D’Angelo‘s daughter, Imani Archer, penned a tribute to her dad, who she described as her “biggest hype man,” “protector” and “biggest musical inspiration.” “No one will EVER measure up to how brave and strong you are…I love you so much Daddy. I wish I had more time to spend with you,” she wrote. “This is breaking my heart into a million pieces….I will forever honor you and carry on your legacy Dad.” The full tribute is on Instagram.

Nas thinks it “would be great” to work with Kendrick Lamar, but “it just has to be smooth [in] the way it connects,” he tells Complex. “Anything I do with anybody, especially someone like him, I just want to take my time with, so we’ll see.” Looking into the camera, he then told Lamar, “[If] you’d be so kind to do a song with your brother.”

Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready shared a photo of Ace backstage at a 2005 Pearl Jam concert, writing, “Ace was a hero of mine and also I would consider a friend. I studied his solos endlessly over the years,” adding,  “I would not have picked up a guitar without Ace and KISS’s influence. RIP it out Ace, you changed my life. Thank you.”

Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello called Ace “my first guitar hero,” writing that he “inspired generations to love rock n roll and love rock n roll guitar playing.”

“His timeless riffs and solos, the billowing smoke coming from his Les Paul, the rockets shooting from his headstock, his cool spacey onstage wobble and his unforgettable crazy laugh will be missed but will never be forgotten,” he added.

Tommy Thayer, who joined KISS in 2002, called Frehley, “A legend who will never be forgotten,” noting “it’s been an honor to walk in his footsteps.” Bruce Kulick, who was with KISS from 1984 to 1996 wrote Ace was a “one of a kind and truly an iconic guitar player,” adding, “Not only was he loved by all, he influenced millions of guitarists around the world.”

Sabrina Carpenter isn’t scared of hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend — but she is scared of something else.

Sabrina’s hosting and performing on the show on Oct. 18, and in a new set of promos, she and cast member Marcello Hernandez discuss whether or not she’s “scared to host.”

“Me? I perform in front of thousands of screaming fans every night,” Sabrina replies. “So you’re not scared?” Hernandez asks.

She replies, “No. I’m terrified. But not of hosting. Deep down, my greatest fear is…”

Then she and Hernandez both say at the same time, ” …My dentist grows a really long beard and during the appointment it tickles my chest.”  The pair look at each other in shock and then walk offstage.

Also in the promos, Sabrina says, “I think I might need to arrest someone for being too hot” — which she does every night on her Short n’ Sweet tour. Hernandez, assuming she’s talking about him, laughs and says, “Well, I turn myself in.” Instead, Sabrina says, “You’re under arrest, cameraman!” pointing to the middle-aged, bald guy behind the camera. “Damn! Yeah I can’t compete with that,” says Hernandez.

That moment is actually meta, because Sabrina did arrest Hernandez at one of her LA concerts last year for being too hot. At the concert, he was in character as Domingo, the guy in the viral SNL sketch based on her song “Espresso.”

In a fitting bit of timing, Fender’s also just released a new collaboration with the legendary Elton John, called “Talk to You.” The track will appear on the upcoming deluxe edition of People Watching, due out Dec. 5.

“I was playing around with the riff and thought what I need is a really good pianist and then hmmm, I wonder who I can call?” Fender says of writing “Talk to You.” “And of course, who better than Elton John.”

The original People Watching dropped in February.

Britney Spears continues to react to ex Kevin Federline: ‘why is HE SO ANGRY’
Kevin Federline’s book ‘You Thought You Knew’ (Listenin Books)

Britney Spears has once again taken to social media to respond to claims that her ex-husband Kevin Federline makes about her in his new memoir You Thought You Knew — and is also accusing her family of neglect.

On X and Instagram, Britney writes that she is “always being threatened or made to believe I’m the bad one as they profit off my pain,” adding, “I 100 percent beg to differ the way he is literally attacking me in his interviews.”

In his book Kevin accuses Britney of abusing drugs and alcohol, and exhibiting disturbing behavior, like watching their sons sleep while holding a knife.

“why is HE SO ANGRY … and what’s scary is he’s convincing. It literally blows my mind the moments he stops before he cries. Are you f****** serious,” Britney writes about Kevin’s current press tour. “I know his book will sell loads more than mine. If you really love someone then you don’t help them by humiliating them.”

“What scared me was how serious and angry he got, people have no idea, it is way worse than anyone could imagine … the boy hates me and it is deep anger to literally say the things he is saying.”

Britney then accuses her mother of calling her only “one time in six years” and not inviting her to her son’s birthday party in Louisiana. “They secretly love to cast me out and make me feel completely isolated,” she adds.

She finishes her lengthy post by writing, “I will start acting, doing real columns monthly … I might even start my own radio podcast,” and gives thanks to “the people supporting my heart right now.”

In a separate post, Britney wonders if she would feel “more confident and not alone and prettier” if she “had a family that respected me.”

In response to Federline’s book, a rep for Britney told ABC News, “With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids … and their well-being during this sensationalism.”
