Meek Mill‘s latest album, Expensive Pain, is number 12 on the Billboard 200, but the Philly MC is insisting that his record label is not paying him.

“I haven’t get paid from music and i don’t know how much money labels make off me!!!!! I need lawyers asap!!!,” the “Going Bad” rapper wrote Monday in a since-deleted tweet.

Meek’s post came after his star-studded Expensive Pain concert Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City. In addition to playing back the entire album, Meek performed with several guests, including Lil Uzi Vert, Bobby Shmurda, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, 42 Dugg, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Fabolous, Vory, Giggs, EST Gee, and Fivio Foreign.

Mill posted several videos from the show and commented, “Thank you to everybody who popped out with me!!!”

Shawn Mendes collaborated with Latin hitmaker Tainy on his recent single, “Summer of Love,” and now his girlfriend Camila Cabello is also working with the Puerto Rican songwriter and producer.

Camila has announced a new single, “Oh Na Na,” dropping on Friday, a collaboration with Tainy and Puerto Rican rapper and singer Myke Towers.

Presumably the song is from Camila’s forthcoming album, Familia, which has already spun off the single “Don’t Go Yet.”  Camila performed another new song from the album, “La Buena Vida,” on her NPR Tiny Desk Concert earlier this month.

The chorus of Camila’s hit “Havana” features her singing “Ooh na na,” so perhaps this song is a callback to that one.  We’ll find out on Friday.

“We enjoyed our 2019 tour in America so much,” says Mason. “We’re happy to be back at it and playing Pink Floyd music fans may have never had the chance to experience live.”

Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets performs Pink Floyd music that precedes the band’s classic 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon. The group also features Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp, longtime Pink Floyd and David Gilmour touring bassist Guy Pratt, and veteran session musicians Lee Harris and Dom Beken on guitar and keyboards, respectively.

In 2020, Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets released Live at The Roundhouse, a concert film and album that features performances from a May 2019 stand that the group played in London.

After their North American trek, the band will launch a lengthy trek in Ireland, the U.K. and mainland Europe, spanning from April into July.

It turns out Ed Sheeran isn’t the only member of his family who’s been diagnosed with COVID-19. His 14-month-old daughter, Lyra, has also tested positive.

Speaking to a reporter from the U.K.’s Daily Mail on Monday, Ed said, “I’m self-isolating with my daughter. I have been alone with her, without my wife, since we are both positive. I am now going to spend 10 days alone with her.”

He added, “Sometimes I’m away and spend just two days a week with her, so being able to be with her for 10 straight days is great. I just spoke to [my wife] Cherry and told her to relax, take long baths! Our fridge is full and we’re just eating all the time.”

On Sunday, Ed revealed his COVID-19 diagnosis and said that he’d be “doing as many of my planned interviews [or] performances I can from my house.”  He’s confirmed that he’ll be appearing on the popular British talk show The Jonathan Ross Show via Zoom, from the pub that he built at his compound in Suffolk, England.

Ed’s latest album, = [Equals], is out Friday.

FilmMagic/FilmMagic for Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival

All Time Low has issued a statement denying recent allegations of sexual misconduct as “absolutely and unequivocally false.”

The statement does not specify the exact allegations, but refers to a TikTok video that “gained traction a few weeks ago alluding to inappropriate behavior within our camp.” The presumed TikTok shows a woman sharing that a “famous pop punk band” invited her on their tour bus when she was 13, adding that they tried to take her bra for their “nasty collection” and offered her alcohol.

That video was then followed by a lengthy statement from an anonymous social media account specifically accusing guitarist Jack Barakat of grooming, abuse and sexual assault.

In their statement, which is credited to all four member of All Time Low, the “Monsters” rockers write that “we have to state with outright certainty that what is being said about us is completely and utterly false.”

“We are investigating further the source of these false accusations, and will be seeking legal recourse as we take these allegations very seriously,” the statement reads.

“We stand with victims and always wish to amplify the voices and stories of those who have suffered abuse and trauma,” the band continues. “But we cannot and will not fuel or amplify lies that only cloud and distort the true stories of those who need to be heard and represented.”

Bakarat also issued a separate statement, reading, “While the four of us wrote this statement together, I feel the need to personally refute the claims being made against me and us, as they are 100% false.”

Queens’ Naturi Naughton reflects on her character’s difficult journey

Queens’ Naturi Naughton reflects on her character’s difficult journey
ABC

Episode two of the new ABC Drama Queens premieres tonight, and it was a particularly difficult one for series star Naturi Naughton.

We found out in the first episode that Naughton’s character, Jill, is living a double life — hiding the fact that she’s gay from her friends and family.

Naughton tells ABC Audio that getting comfortable in Jill’s skin was “a little scary at first.” “It’s not my real experience,” she explains, “and I always want to be as authentic as possible.”

That led the 37-year-old singer, songwriter and actress to do some research.

“I’ve even talked to a few friends and people who’ve actually lived that,” Naughton says. “The journey that I’ve kind of decided to tap into is that she really is trying to assert something that she has suppressed for so many years because of the hip hop background, because of her religious backgrounds.”

It’s rare to see a gay woman of color in a lead role on a network TV show, even in this day and age, and Naturi hopes her representation helps.

“There’s so much pressure on Jill and one thing that I hope my character inspires people is to release that pressure. To release that worry about what people may think,” Naughton offers. “And that’s actually what my character deals with constantly. But also don’t take on too much at once. Like, say your truth and it’s OK if you’re not perfect. It’s OK if you’re not the spokesperson for the entire movement.”

Queens airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.

Britney Spears warns her family “I still want justice” in latest Instagram update

Britney Spears warns her family “I still want justice” in latest Instagram update
Britney Spears warns her family “I still want justice” in latest Instagram update

Britney Spears left another strongly-worded message to her family, telling them that she has not forgotten how their actions hurt her over the course of her 13-year conservatorship.

On Monday night, the “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to unload on her relatives and appeared to follow up on the comments she made during her bombshell June 23 testimony about wanting to sue her family.

Spears, 39, spoke about how she used to “jump through hoops” to connect with her loved ones before claiming she finds it “weird” she’s the only one putting in the effort.

“It’s humiliating and it’s like every person I’ve ever opened to immediately says they’ll be gone on a trip for two weeks after … OK I get it … they’re only available to me when it’s convenient for them,” she wrote. “Well I’m no longer available to any of them now.”

Spears, while adding she doesn’t “mind being alone,” closed with a stern warning “to my family … for hurting me deeper than you’ll ever know.”

“I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice !!! I’m only 5’4″ and I’ve played the bigger person my entire life … do you know how hard that is ???,” the Grammy winner remarked.

During Britney’s bombshell testimony in June, she told Judge Brenda Penny, “I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you. I also would like to be able to share my story with the world, and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hush secret to benefit all of them.”

Britney also previously had expressed, “Lord have mercy on my family’s souls if I ever do an interview !!!”

The next hearing, set for November 12, will focus on terminating the conservatorship itself.
