Just in time for Christmas, ABBA has announced their first-ever holiday single. The Swedish superstars will officially release the song “Little Things” on December 3.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday to share the track’s official artwork, the band teased, “Christmas is around the corner – Take a look at the cover art for ABBA’s Christmas song ‘Little Things’ being released December 3d on CD. Maybe something for the Christmas stocking?”

The gentle song centers on the joy parents feel waking up on Christmas morning and imagining what it’ll be like to watch their children open presents under the tree.

“Little Things” is featured on ABBA’s new album, Voyage, which is their first in 40 years.  The track is available for pre-order now.

Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson are vowing to “Never Say Never” in their new collaboration.

The hitmakers are teaming up for a fiery new song that finds two people who can’t stay apart. It’s set for release on Thursday.

Cole and Lainey teased the song in a humorous video wherein they trade questions about things they would “never” do, whether it’s switching hats, Cole wearing a pair of Lainey’s bell bottoms, or Lainey accepting his offer of a White Claw, instead presenting two cans of Loud Lemon.

“Cole, what you say we do a song together?” Lainey asks, with Cole replying, “I’d never say never with you.” The two cast a deadpan look at the camera that leads into a teaser of the song, with them singing, “I never say never with you/I end up together with you/It’s hell and it’s heaven with you baby.”

“I’ve been waiting a long time for this one. @laineywilson LET’S GO,” Cole proclaims in the caption.

“@coleswindell, I think we got us a good one. Super excited to share this one with y’all on Thursday!” remarks Lainey.

The “Never Say Never” collaboration follows Cole’s most recent #1 hit, “Single Saturday Night,” and Lainey’s first #1 single in 2021 with “Things a Man Oughta Know.”

Ed Sheeran just received a major invitation from Seoul, South Korea.  The Mnet Asian Music Awards, known as the MAMA Awards, asked the British pop star to perform at their event.

Entertainment Tonight describes the MAMAs as K-pop version of the Grammy Awards.  They will be held on December 11 and will be broadcast worldwide.

Ed recently collaborated with the K-pop group BTS on their summer hit “Permission to Dance” this year and co-writing their 2019 single, “Make It Right.”

The singer has yet to comment on the MAMA Awards invitation.

This announcement comes as the MAMA Awards revealed that they are thinking about moving the ceremony from South Korea to the U.S. because of K-pop’s growth in global popularity.  If they do, the organizers will evaluate nominees on their international influence.

As for why they want to move the show to America, Kim Hyun-soo, who is the CJ ENM director-general of music content, said it’s because the U.S. is the “world’s biggest music market.”  He adds that these changes will help “further heighten MAMA as one of the top-tier global awards show.”

The MAMA Awards go live Saturday, December 11, at 4 a.m. ET/1 a.m. PT.

Adele celebrates new album with Nicole Richie & custom cocktails as CBS special draws great ratings

Monday night, Adele treated fans and friends to an early listen of her album 30, which officially arrives on Friday.

She posted photos of her listening party on Instagram, and captioned them, “Cocktails and crying all around.” The first photo shows Adele addressing her guests in a beautiful copper, brown and silver short dress that the New York Post reports is Oscar de la Renta

One photo shows a table lit by a candle with the words “Easy On Me” — the first single from 30 — written on it, while another pic has a list of the custom cocktails guests enjoyed.  The choices included an “I Drink Wine” spritzer and “My Little Love ‘Tail,” both named after songs on the album, as well as an Aperologetically Adele Spritz.

One of the guests was Adele’s close pal, Nicole Richie, who posed for a photo with Adele and some other guests, one of whom is clutching a green pillow with “30” written on it.

And because Adele doesn’t take herself too seriously, she also included a photo of herself sticking her tongue out, crossing her eyes and cradling her boobs while a guy — whom we assume was fixing her microphone pack — holds onto her waist. At least, we hope he was fixing her microphone pack.

Meanwhile, the ratings are in for Adele’s CBS special, One Night Only.  According to Billboard, the show attracted the biggest Sunday night audience for any entertainment show so far this season, averaging 9.92 million viewers.  That’s more than watched this year’s Oscars.

“He was the real star of the show”: Dan + Shay bring young fan onstage to sing “I Should Probably Go to Bed”
ABC

Dan + Shay are spilling all the details of how they invited a young fan to sing with them at a recent show in Kansas City.

In a Twitter thread, the Grammy winning duo shares how, when they looked out into the packed crowd at the T-Mobile Center, they spotted a young boy, Kyler, in the front row holding a sign that read “I should probably go to bed but…I’ve waited 14,016 hours for my first concert.” On the back of the sign was the request, “Can I come play guitar and sing with you?”

The duo obliged, inviting the young fan onstage to show off his skills performing their hit, “I Should Probably Go to Bed.” “When we get to the chorus, the ‘I should probably go to bed’ part, the entire crowd is going to sing it with you. They’re going to be very loud, it’s going to be really awesome, it’s going to feel really cool,” Dan Smyers prefaced.

Kyler proceeded to show off his impressive guitar and vocal skills, owning the stage with his confident delivery while the crowd sang every word along with them and the duo served as his hype men. The performance ended with the duo embracing Kyler in a congratulatory hug.

“He absolutely crushed it and proved to everyone that he was the real star of the show,” Dan + Shay praised in a note to fans after the show. “It’s moments like this that make us so grateful for what we get to do. Hopefully someday when Kyler is selling out stadiums, he’ll let us open for him.”

The twosome also shared a photo of Kyler holding a framed picture of the special moment that his classmates gave him at school.

Dan + Shay continue on The (Arena) Tour through December 7.
