Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain has a very busy holiday season planned with his famous band and his work serving as a minister at his wife Paula White-Cain‘s church, but first up he has some important familial Thanksgiving duties on his plate.

“I’m gonna be cooking a pretty extensive dinner like I usually do…Chef Jon,” he tells ABC Audio. “We’ll just have our close family and grandkids [over].”

Cain says he’s facing one major dilemma with his meal preparation, he’s been having a “big problem…finding a turkey.”

“Turkeys are, believe or not, scarce,” the 71-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, who lives in Florida, says with a laugh. “My little place [where] I bought my Amish turkey [last year is] unable to help me. I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ So yeah, you can’t even get a turkey anymore.”

We won’t stop believing that Jonathan will be successful in his quest to find a big bird for his family’s holiday feast.

After Thanksgiving is over, Cain and Journey will head to Las Vegas, where the band will play a six-show residency at The Theater at Virgin Hotels that runs from December 1 through December 11, and a special symphonic concert at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 18.

Cain, who recently released his latest in a series of solo Christian-music projects, an EP titled Oh Lord Lead Us, also has plans to host a Christmas concert.

Gwen Stefani joins this year’s The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration.  Turns out, the singer has fond memories of the theme park.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight from Disneyland, the “Slow Clap” singer explained that she grew up in a home that was so close to the park, it was basically her “backyard.”

“My parents used to pick us up from school and would be driving down Harvard Boulevard going, ‘Oops, we made the wrong turn. I guess we have to go to Disneyland today.’ It’s just one of those things that we do every year,” Gwen recalled, noting that she does the same thing with her kids: 15-year-old Kingston, 13-year-old Zuma, and Apollo, who’s seven.

“I bring the kids every single year at Christmas time, so I know that they would be freaked out to know that I am actually here right now. They are going to be like, ‘Why didn’t you bring us?'” Gwen laughed.

The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration airs Sunday, November 28, at 7 p.m. ET on ABC.

Although Christmas is right around the corner, Gwen’s focused on Thanksgiving, and revealed, “We leave next week to go to Oklahoma, it’s a tradition. My whole family flies out, and we have not been back there since the wedding.”

The singer adds she’s “very excited” to spend her first holiday as Mrs. Blake Shelton and raved, “It’s gonna be our first married Thanksgiving!”

Gwen says she’s also looking forward to stuffing herself with turkey, adding, “My mom definitely likes to do her turkey her way. Blake likes to experiment with multiple smaller turkeys,” revealing he previously made a “hot Cheetos turkey” and plans on a “bacon-wrapped” bird this year.

John Lennon‘s older son Julian has revealed he had an emotional reaction when he got to watch a preview of the upcoming Disney+ docuseries The Beatles: Get Back in Los Angeles this past week.

In a recent message on his Instagram that accompanied a new photo of him with his half-brother, Sean, Julian writes, “[T]he film has made me love my father again, in a way I can’t fully describe…Thank you to All who had a hand, in bringing this project to fruition…Life Changing.”

Julian also reveals that after the Get Back screening, he attended an event hosted by designer Stella McCartney, Paul McCartney‘s daughter, noting, “What an Amazing night, firstly seeing ‘Get Back’ & then Stella’s Event afterwards…The One True thing I can say about it all, is that it has made me so proud, inspired & feel more love for My/Our family, than ever before.”

It’s widely known that Julian didn’t have a close relationship with his father, who divorced his mother, Cynthia, and remarried Yoko Ono in the late 1960s when Julian was still a child.

Meanwhile, Julian posted several pictures of him with Sean Lennon — John’s son with Yoko — on Instagram, including a photo of them sitting together at the Get Back screening with Stella sitting behind them. Interestingly, he wrote in the caption of that pic, “Wish You were here Dhani & Zak!” referring to Dhani Harrison and Zak Starkey — the respective sons of George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Another Instagram photo that Julian posted Monday shows him and Sean on a beach in Malibu, California, with the sun setting behind them. Lennon captions the pic, “A lil wind blown & tired after a few hours driving through the Mountains to the Sea, but so worth it…A Magical Day.”

Could Jared Leto‘s role in House of Gucci lead to a Thirty Seconds to Mars collaboration with Lady Gaga?

Speaking with NME, Leto says it “would be fun” to work on a song with the “Bad Romance” superstar.

“I danced with her already so that was enough for me,” Leto says. “But that would be fun. She’s a terrific artist and I think she’s just a real talent. I have a lot of respect for her…her bravery.”

Leto also shares that the House of Gucci soundtrack, which features a number of hits from the ’70s and ’80s, has influenced the next, currently-in-the-works Mars album, the follow-up to 2018’s AMERICA.

“There are a lot of those sounds that definitely are on the new album,” Leto says. “My first instrument was a Roland Juno 106, which is a synthesizer from the ’80s. I really cherished that instrument, and those sounds are so nostalgic.”

He adds, “Those sounds are kinda embedded in our psyche, and they really speak directly to our heart sometimes. They take us back to the films that we grew up on. So I love to pull from that stuff.”

House of Gucci, which details the assassination of real-life fashion mogul Maurizio Gucci, is out today. Leto plays Paulo Gucci, cousin of Maurizio, who is portrayed by Adam Driver. Gaga stars as Maurizio’s ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of arranging his killing.

As for the connection between the Hallmark Channel and Rob, one of the songs on his album — an updated version of his 2003 tune “A New York Christmas” — appears in the new Hallmark holiday film A Royal Queens Christmas.

Other musical artists scheduled to appear or perform during the parade include Nelly, R&B singer Kelly Rowland, pop singer-songwriter Andy Grammer, Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth, and country stars Carrie Underwood, Jimmie Allen, Mickey Guyton and Chris Lane.

Two Thanksgiving traditions, the Macy’s parade, and the Detroit Lions NFL game, will feature soulful entertainment.

Nelly and Kelly Rowland will begin their holiday celebration Thursday, performing during the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, airing live on NBC from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET.

The rapper and the singer won a Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Performance for their 2002 duet, “Dilemma.” The song was also nominated for Record of the Year. “Dilemma” was the first single from Rowland’s 2002 debut solo album, Simply Deep, and remained at number one on the Billboard 100 for ten weeks.

Kelly is also starring in the holiday movie Merry Liddle Christmas Baby, which premieres Saturday on Lifetime.

The Lions, who have not won a game this season, are hosting the Chicago Bears in the 82nd annual Thanksgiving Day Classic, airing 12:30 p.m. ET on Fox. The team is calling upon a Motown native to inspire them to their first win: Big Sean will perform at halftime of the game at Ford Field. The “Bounce Back” rapper announced two weeks ago that he began construction on a movie multiplex in Midtown Detroit.

Before Sean hits the stage Thursday, three-time Grammy winner Ne-Yo will sing the national anthem.
