It’s almost time to say goodbye to Atlanta.

FX announced in a brief teaser that the fourth and final season of the hit show, which brings the crew back to their home city, will premiere in September.

If it feels like a quick turnaround, that’s because season three ended in May. The final two seasons were shot back-to-back.

Donald Glover, Zazie Beetz, Brian Tyree Henry and LaKeith Stanfield were featured in the short video, all standing in front of a liquor store surrounded by references to episodes from the first three seasons of the show – including everything from a hair salon stylist to Uncle Willy’s alligator.

Malti is six months old, and no one is more excited than her proud parents, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

The Quantico actress split the honor of her 40th birthday with her bundle of joy in a new Instagram post, where Malti is sporting a onesie that declares “6 months.”

“Just a girl and her birthday squad!” Priyanka wrote. “So grateful and thankful to be surrounded by so much love and to be able to spend time with my nearest and dearest. (Even though a lot of them flew in from very far).”

She continued, “The most incredible celebrations, planned and executed to perfection by my [love] @nickjonas. Words are not enough to thank you for the most memorable birthday… you really know how to love baby. I’m a lucky girl.”

“I’m so touched by all the birthday love I’ve received this year,” the actress added. “The lovely DMs, surprises, calls, texts, and big hugs made the day even brighter and made me feel truly special. Thank you everyone who reached out, it means the world. Here’s to the beginning of the rest of my life.”

While Priyanka shared a handful of photos from her own birthday celebrations in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the standout snap is second in the carousel of photos, which shows Malti celebrating her six-month birthday.

Malti is wearing a little pink tutu and has a white headband with a bow on it as she is held in her mother’s arms. Meanwhile, Nick is holding up a small birthday cake along with the note, “Happy 6 months B-day MM.”

As previously reported, Nick and Priyanka spoke openly about Malti spending “100 plus days in the NICU” shortly after birth but didn’t explain what caused her health scare.

Kane Brown returns to pop with new single, “Grand”

ABC

Kane Brown may be gearing up to release a full-fledged country album, but his love for pop music isn’t going anywhere, and he proved it on Friday with the release of a new song “Grand.”

“Ain’t life grand / Only ones I keep around me is my fam / No coincidence it’s always been the plan,” Kane sings in the chorus. “And I always keep it trilly with the fans / Oh, ain’t life grand?”

“Grand” is a pretty striking left turn from Kane’s latest single, “Like I Love Country Music” — a song that keeps things country and features a guest spot from Brooks & Dunn. But fans have come to expect a diverse blend of musical influences from Kane. Since the beginning, he’s been known for his pop-inflected hits and out-of-the-box duets as well as his traditional beginnings of covering artists like Randy Travis.

“Grand” will be on the track list of Kane’s upcoming album, Different Man, which arrives September 9.

It’s Friday! Let’s see who’s out with new tunes…

The Chainsmokers released the official lyric video for “Time Bomb,” a song they say “is prettying banging.”  Not only that, they’re already teasing their fifth studio album and promised fans on Twitter that it’ll “100%” have more collabs.

The Weeknd released a remix of “How Do I Make You Love Me” with Sebastian Ingrosso and Salvatore Gannaci. Not only that, he released the official music video for the original mix, which is 2D animated and goes ham with horror elements.

Macklemore is back, and he teamed with “Dance Monkey” singer Tones and I for “Chant.” He also released the official music video for the uplifting, self-love anthem. The song is about overcoming his addiction struggles.

Beyoncé released two new remixes of “Break My Soul” — an a capella version so fans can enjoy her soaring vocals and also an instrumental version.

Ed Sheeran teamed with Russ for the new song “Are You Entertained” and also starred in its music video. The song is about reaching for the top and realizing what’s important to them.

Mike Posner joined forces with Masked Wolf for “Madhouse.” The song offers a thrumming bass, electro-infused beats and a dark sonic undertone and is about knowing you’re untouchable.

Pentatonix teamed with Diane Warren and Jon Batiste  for “Sweet.” Kevin Olusola of Pentatonix said in a statement, “We were so honored to collaborate with such musical titans… hey’ve brought the world so much love and joy in their music. We hope the people feel like dancin’ and prancin’ when they listen to ‘Sweet’!”

Goo Goo Dolls dropped “You Are The Answer,” the second single to be released off their Chaos In Bloom album. The ballad highlights the love one has for their significant other in times of hardship and is reminiscent of a choir song with its soulful elements. The song follows their previously released “Yeah, I Like You.” Chaos In Bloom arrives August 12.

The Weeknd released a remix of “How Do I Make You Love Me” with Sebastian Ingrosso and Salvatore Gannaci. The remix takes the song in a funk-inspired direction. If you’re a fan of the original version, The Weeknd dropped the official music video, which is 2D animated. Just a word of warning, this visual goes heavy with horror themes.

Ed Sheeran teamed with Russ for the new song “Are You Entertained” and also starred in its music video. The song is about reaching for the top and realizing what’s important to them. For Ed, he realized he needs to put his family — and more importantly, himself — first in his quest to turn his dreams into a reality.

Master P is opening up about the death of his 29-year-old daughter, Tytyana Miller, who passed away in May of an accidental drug overdose.

“It’s hard. Coming from poverty, you would think that you would outlive your kids and that was the mission,” he told CBS Mornings host Gayle King in an interview that aired Friday. “I feel like, going to my daughter’s funeral, I went to my own funeral.”

Tytyana had been battling addiction for nearly a decade. Master P said she had just gotten out of rehab and appeared to be doing better. In the wake of her passing, he hopes to help other families dealing with mental illness and addiction.

“My sympathy goes out to everybody that lost a child,” he shared. “I said, ‘I’m gonna turn my pain into passion and I’m gonna turn it into a purpose because I can’t get my daughter back.’ I love her and think about her every day, and it took me and my family to go through something that I just can’t stop thinking about, but I realize that I have to get out here and help and save other kids.”

“I want to help people that look like us. We want to bring awareness to this,” he added. “…I’m going to get out here and save millions.”

The summer is a little less cruel today, as Bananarama has just released its latest studio album, Masquerade.

The 11-track collection arrives as the British dance act celebrates 40 years of making music together. Bananarama, which is made up of two of the group’s three original members, Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward, originally intended Masquerade to be an EP, but the project expanded to a full-length album as the duo continued writing new songs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I love writing songs, it’s probably my favourite part, says Dallin. “Shutting myself away and coming up with ideas and then telling a story in less than 4 minutes, it really is quite an art.”

Adds Woodward, “Arranging the music, vocals and harmonies really is our forte.”

Nine of the album’s 11 tunes were written in collaboration with producer Ian MastersonMasquerade also includes covers of two songs co-written by Sara’s daughter, Alice Dallin-Walker.

You can check out a music video for the album’s title track on the group’s official YouTube channel.

Bananarama will be performing this Sunday at the star-studded 1980s-themed Rewind Festival in Perth, Scotland. The duo will then celebrate Masquerade‘s release at two special shows in London on August 2 and 3. Visit Bananarama.co.uk for their full concert schedule.

Bananarama enjoyed its biggest success with their chart-topping 1986 cover of Shocking Blue‘s “Venus.” The group also scored top-10 hits in the U.S. in 1983 with “Cruel Summer” and 1987 with “I Heard a Rumour.”
