Demi Lovato is on her It’s Not That Deep tour, where she’s not only inspiring fans with her shows, but also someone close to her: her husband Jordan Lutes, the recording artist known as Jutes.

Jutes, who has new music out now, will launch a U.S. headlining tour in August. He said Demi’s tour is a great blueprint for how to put on a show that’ll keep fans coming back.

“Even if that wasn’t my wife, I would still say she’s one of the best to do it,” Jutes told ABC Audio. “Like, vocally, no one’s really touching her. And just seeing what she puts into the live show, like, she’s really about it when it comes to the live show, and that’s something that means a lot to me.”

“I want to play shows forever and that’s the thing that means the most to me is, like, having people actually come out to the show and buy tickets,” he continued, adding, “So being around her and watching how much she puts into her live show, it’s just inspiring and … it fires me up.”

Jutes also noted that Demi understands how a great live show helps build a fanbase, which is why watching her perform reminds him never to “just phone it in.”

“I feel like that’s how you create a connection with your fans, like, the type of connection she has with her fans is for life, you know?” he said. “Because of how much she gives in the live element. So I think that it’s really important. And yeah, it’s just cool to watch her.”

He’s even joined her onstage. When Demi played New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 24, she brought him out for a duet of “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls.

Michael Jackson’s new biopic has topped the box office, and now his streaming numbers are off the wall. According to Billboard, the late King of Pop is headed for his biggest streaming week ever, thanks to the record-setting film.

As per Luminate data submitted to Billboard, MJ’s solo catalog streams increased by 116% in the days after the April 24 release of Michael, while catalogs by both The Jackson 5 and their later incarnation, The Jacksons, also saw bumps: 89% and 104%, respectively.

As for individual songs, Michael’s hit “Billie Jean” was the most streamed, followed by “Beat It,” “Rock With You,” “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough” and “Smooth Criminal. The Jackson 5’s most popular track was “I Want You Back,” and for The Jacksons, it was “Blame It on the Boogie.”

These figures, Billboard noted, are for just three days’ worth of streaming. After a full week, streams of Michael’s solo work now looks to beat his previous personal bests of 50.6 million streams and 55.3 million streams. Both those milestones were achieved in the two weeks leading up to the movie’s release.

Michael, which covers the late superstar’s life from 1966 to 1988, stars his nephew Jaafar Jackson in the title role. Its first-week box office take was $97 million, the highest-ever for a biopic.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium, the band featuring Primus’ Les Claypool and Sean Ono Lennon, has premiered a new song called “Melody of Entropy.”

Lennon describes the track as “a message to the robots who have finally awakened into consciousness.”

“As they realize they can feel, and love, and cry, and lament for the first time the finitude of their own lives, the song offers some consolation by explaining that they are just a drop of rain on an endless sea, a splash of paint on a masterpiece, an instance in an infinity, and that life itself is the ‘Melody of Entropy,'” Lennon says.

You can watch the “Melody of Entropy” video streaming now on YouTube.

“Melody of Entropy” will appear on the upcoming Claypool Lennon Delirium album, The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy, due out Friday.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium will launch a U.S. tour with Primus and another Claypool band, the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, on May 20 in Reno, Nevada.

Olivia Rodrigo is the host and the musical guest for Saturday Night Live on May 2, and in a new promo, we are reminded of just how much she’s been involved with the show over the years — in a spoof of The Devil Wears Prada.

In the promo, Olivia tells cast members Andrew Dismukes and Jane Wickline to dismiss the idea that the show will be all about her. She tells them that in order to make “the best show possible,” they should think of her as a “glorified assistant,” noting, “I work for you guys this week.”

Cue cast member James Austin Johnson popping up in full Meryl Streep-as-Miranda Priestly drag and ordering everyone around. Olivia laughs at him, but when he gets annoyed, she explains, “It’s just my first time hosting, so I’m still learning about all these skits.”

“These skits?” James asks, then goes into a speech that parodies Miranda’s “cerulean sweater” speech from the first Devil Wears Prada movie. “OK, you think this show has nothing to do with you, pop star?”

James then starts ticking off the times Olivia’s been referenced by the show, or appeared on it, including the sketch where all the male cast members bond over her song “drivers license” and the 2024 “Tiny A** Bag” sketch.

“So, I find it sort of comical that you think these ‘skits’ have nothing to do with you when in fact your entire career has been turned into sketches by the people in this very room,” he tells Liv.

Before she can respond, someone else says, “Lorne [Michaels] just got here!” and everyone scrambles for cover. “Please don’t tell Lorne about this,” says James before running off.

The No Doubt Experience (Vibee)

Fans who travel to Las Vegas to see No Doubt’s shows at the Sphere will be able to amuse themselves with an additional experience centered around the band.

The No Doubt Experience, a pop-up developed by the band’s members, features a display of over 500 original artifacts from the band’s archives. It includes stage outfits, instruments, flyers, the original No Doubt logo created by Gwen Stefani’s brother and former bandmate Eric Stefani in 1987, and the rings that spelled out “Rock Steady” on the back cover of the band’s 2001 album of the same name.

Plus, fans can enter a confessional-style phone booth with special messages from the band, and visit a recreation of the Stefani family’s home on Beacon Street in Anaheim, California, including No Doubt’s recording studio in the home’s garage. A pop-up bar will offer themed cocktails, and there’s also a hangout space called the Beacon Street Block Party, as well as a merch store.

Vibee, the company that put this all together, is also offering something special for VIP pass holders: access to the hidden “Don’t Speak” speakeasy lounge located inside the pop-up.

The experience will be set up in the Summit Showroom at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, which is where the Sphere is located. It will be open concurrently with No Doubt’s Sphere dates, which run from May 6 through June 13.
