One day Stevie Nicks will write a memoir, but until then we can make do with Lessons & Lace, a biography of the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer that’s due out Sept. 15.

Written by Rachel Brodsky, the book, subtitled “Everything I Know About Dreams, Heartbreak, and Magic I Learned from Stevie Nicks,” isn’t a straight biography. It’s a series of chapters organized around specific themes.

According to a press release, each chapter is focused on a “different life lesson that Stevie has absorbed and later dispensed wisdom on,” drawn from archival interviews and comments from those in Stevie’s circle. There are also full-color line drawings to accompany the “notable quotes to inspire hard-learned, life-changing lessons.”

Lessons & Lace recounts Stevie‘s path to becoming the wisdom-dispersing fairy godmother we know her as today,” Brodsky says in a statement.

“I think sometimes we forget how much skepticism she faced from the music industry and her peers … the uphill climb she faced to be taken seriously as a true artist and writer, what it took to overcome her struggles with addiction, and how she inspired new generations of musicians to write with their own combinations of vulnerability and strength.”

Brodsky goes on to say that, like her song “Leather & Lace,” Stevie is “soft and hard, romantic and practical, sensual and sensible.” She adds that she hopes readers “walk away feeling inspired to live their lives with Stevie-style authenticity, bravery, and truth.”

Sept. 15, the day of the book’s release, Brodsky will appear at LA’s Book Soup to discuss it.

Paul McCartney has always seemed to have a good sense of humor, but evidently he doesn’t necessarily want to hear people making jokes about him.

Comedian Jeff Ross, who executive produces Netflix’s roast franchise, including the recent roast of comedian Kevin Hart, tells Variety that they offered McCartney the chance to be the subject of a roast, but he declined the opportunity.

“We did ask Paul McCartney at one point. To me, that would be a fantasy roast,” says Ross. “Paul McCartney doesn’t need anything, but a Paul McCartney roast would be good for the world.”

He adds, “It would be so funny to me because he is so loved.”

Instead of people laughing at McCartney, fans are just going to have to be OK with watching McCartney perform his new music on a show filled with laughs. The Beatles legend is set to be the musical guest on the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 16.

In other McCartney news … the rocker is will appear on the BBC Radio 2 show Tracks of My Years, where he’ll reveal the 10 songs that have soundtracked his life. His special episode will air May 25, ahead of the May 29 release of his new solo album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane.

Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oli Sykes has shared an update after he was hit by a phone during the band’s show in St. Louis on Monday.

As previously reported, fan-shot footage from the show showed a phone striking Sykes toward the end of performing the track “Happy Song” after seemingly being thrown by someone in the audience.

“Alright everyone – just wanted to let you know I’m all good,” Sykes writes in an Instagram Story posted Tuesday. “The phone to the head definitely smarted [hurt] and I ended up with a mild concussion, but the swelling’s gone down a decent amount already.”

According to Setlist.fm, Bring Me’s set Monday consisted of 16 songs, as opposed to the usual 17 they’ve been playing on their ongoing U.S. tour.

“Last night I was struggling a bit on stage afterwards because singing was putting a lot of pressure on the wound and making things feel a bit disorienting while performing,” Sykes’ post reads. “So I’m sorry on my part for what may of seemed like a half hearted performance.”

Sykes also thanks everyone for checking in on him and says “everything should be fine” for the next show on the tour, set for Tuesday in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kelvin Evans, the man accused of stealing unreleased Beyoncé music in Atlanta, pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday, avoiding an impending trial.

During the hearing, Evans accepted responsibility and was sentenced to five years, with two years to be served in custody and the remaining time on probation. A second charge was merged into the first count as part of the plea agreement.

As part of his probation, Evans was ordered to avoid the location tied to the case, have no contact with the victim and commit no further violations of the law.

Evans faced charges of criminal trespass and entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft, according to the October 2024 indictment.

The indictment stated that Evans allegedly entered a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, the rental property of Christopher Grant, a choreographer for Beyoncé, on July 8 “with the intent to commit theft.”

A report filed July 8, 2025, by the Atlanta Police Department states that Grant returned to his vehicle after the alleged incident and noticed a damaged window, as well as several missing items, including two suitcases and hard drives for Beyoncé’s upcoming Cowboy Carter Tour show in Atlanta, among other things.

“The hard drives contained water marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set list,” the incident report stated.

The book, titled Hello Boys and Girls!, is due out Nov. 10 in the U.S.

Gracie Abrams’ new album, Daughter From Hell, has been quite a few years in the making.

Gracie’s producer, Aaron Dessner, shares on Instagram that they started working on Daughter From Hell on the same day they recorded “That’s So True” at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. That song, her breakthrough single, was released in the fall of 2024.

“Multiple songs on this album were made in that time,” Aaron writes. “Since then we have searched and searched for songs in [my studio] Long Pond, in London and back at Electric Lady.”

He adds that on the album, “You’ll hear us expanding our musical vocabulary and pushing into uncharted waters sonically, and most of all the sharpening and deepening of Gracie’s lyricism and expression in ways that continue to astound me.”

Describing the album as “absolutely the most moving and powerful work we have done together,” Aaron writes that “it feels elevated in every way.”

“We will share more details soon on all the dear friends who helped us along the way.”

Aaron also writes, “I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since Gracie and I started making songs together. I’m deeply grateful for every song we have made and the way we have kept challenging ourselves and growing together as collaborators and friends, sometimes hitting the wall, and then pushing and breaking through.”

Daughter From Hell comes out July 17. The first single, “Hit the Wall,” will arrive Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.

For Lady Gaga, doing a regular concert film is so “been there done that.” That’s why, when it came time to document her Mayhem Ball tour, she went in a different direction.

Apple Music Live: Lady Gaga MAYHEM Requiem is a film of a one-night-only show that Gaga did Jan. 14 at LA’s Wiltern Theater. It’s described as a “celebration and musical reimagining” of her album Mayhem and features her performing rearrangements of the album’s songs, surrounded by what’s designed to look like the ruins of the Mayhem Ball’s opera house set.

You can get a sneak peek of Gaga’s performance of the song “Shadow of a Man” now. Other songs she performs include “Abracadabra,” “Die With a Smile” and “Disease.”

You can register online to get free tickets to one of 15 one-night-only screenings of the film, which will take place Thursday at 11 p.m. ET in cities including New York, Nashville, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, Orlando and Washington, D.C.

If you want to watch it in the comfort of your own home, it will premiere on Apple Music on that same day and time, and you won’t need a subscription to watch the premiere live. If you’re a subscriber, you’ll be able to listen to a live album version of the film on-demand starting Thursday.
