U2’s Bono has huge FOMO, according to Noel Gallagher. The Oasis rocker revealed the fun tidbit during an interview discussing his first meeting with Bruce Springsteen

Gallagher tells Sunday World’s Shuffle feature that his meeting with Springsteen happened by chance when they bumped into each other in Ibiza, Spain. Noel called Springsteen an “amazing guy” and recalled the fun time he had lunching with The Boss, his wife, Patti Scialfa, and others.

“We were sat at this long table, we’d had a few bottles of wine and there’s food everywhere and we took a selfie with each other and [Springsteen] said, ‘Should we ruin Bono’s day?’ And we sent him the selfie,” Gallagher shared, suggesting the U2 frontman “has got a crippling fear of missing out.”

“And his wife called me and said, ‘When you sent him that photograph he couldn’t handle the fact that you two were in Spain having the time of your life and he wasn’t there,'” he says.

But it was all in fun, as Gallagher called Bono “one of his dearest friends.”

“He gets a lot of flack, but I f***** love him,” Gallagher said.

As Jordan Davis readies to kick off his Damn Good Time Tour, he’s hitting pause to reflect on his journey toward being a headliner and the surreality of it.

”This fall [headlining] tour is something that we’ve been, I mean, we’ve been planning it for a long time,” says Jordan. “It truly feels like two years ago we were in a van, pulling into 500-person bars and crossing our fingers that it was gonna look full enough to post a photo on social media.”

“I still remember those days, to where now, we’re sold out in the majority of the venues and starting to kind of make the jump into arenas,” he shares. “It’s something I just didn’t really, I don’t know. As a guy who moved to town to write songs, I never really saw that in my future.”

Jordan’s Damn Good Time Tour begins Thursday, August 31, in Atlanta and will hit Nashville, Kansas City, St. Louis, New York City, Boston, Bakersfield and other cities. The trek will conclude in Las Vegas on October 21.

A rotating list of artists, which includes Gabby BarrettDylan MarloweKameron MarloweJameson Rodgers and Conner Smith, will serve as opening acts.

Oh, that *NSYNC ‘Trolls’ reunion song is definitely coming

Oh, that *NSYNC ‘Trolls’ reunion song is definitely coming
DreamWorks Animation

The rumor that the new Trolls movie, Trolls Band Together, would feature a new song by *NSYNC appears to be true.

Posters spotted in NYC include an image from Trolls along with the “*N” of the *NSYNC logo. The posters also include a QR code — when you scan it you’re taken to TakeYouToABetterPlace.com. That website also features Trolls imagery and the “*N.”

If you click the “play” button on the website, you’ll hear a loop of a whistling musical melody. You can presave or pre-add this mysterious song and sign up for a newsletter.

As previously reported, the plot of Trolls Band Together involves Justin Timberlake‘s character, Branch, teaming up with his long-lost brother to reunite their boy band, BroZone. On August 9, Justin posted footage on his Instagram Story that showed him vibing in a recording studio with JC Chasez.

On August 16, JC posted a Q&A on his Instagram in which he said he’d been “thinking about other boy band ventures.” He added, “Y’know, you never know what could happen.”

When/if the song finally does appear, it’ll be the group’s first release since that 2002 remix of “Girlfriend” featuring Nelly.

After the internet realized that the cover of Doja Cat‘s new album was almost exactly the same as the cover of the new album by a German metal band, Doja has made a change.

After taking down her original Instagram post that showed the cover of her album Scarlet — a close-up of a purple spider and a drop of blood — she’s now shared new cover art.

“SCARLET 9.22 (updated cover),” reads the caption. The image shows what looks like two spiders facing each other, with pearls for bodies.

The German metal band Chaver unveiled its album cover in July. Like Doja, it featured a close-up of a purple spider and a drop of blood, only with the band’s name and the album title — Of Gloom — added. Coincidentally, both albums are coming out on September 22.

The artist behind both covers, Dusty Ray, posted Doja’s new album image on his Instagram Story, indicating that he designed the new image, as well. The artist’s website also features the new image.

While we haven’t heard any new music from ABBA since 2021, fans are getting the next best thing with a new song from member Agnetha Fältskog [Ang-NE-ta FELT-schoo-g].

Agnetha just released the track “Where Do We Go From Here?” It will be the only new song on an upcoming album reimagining the tunes from her last solo record, 2013’s A. She explains that she was inspired to reimagine the record after hearing one of the songs on the radio.

“Suddenly it hit me, what would the album sound like if we had made it today…? I couldn’t stop thinking about it,” she writes on her recently launched Instagram account. “I reached out to the boys who produced ‘A’ back in 2013 – ‘What would you guys think about reimagining “A” and making a totally new version of it?’ They loved the idea! ‘Let’s try!'”

Agnetha’s new album, A+, will be released October 13. It is available for preorder now. You can listen to “Where Do We Go From Here?” now via streaming services and on YouTube.

At a concert in Poland earlier this month, The Weeknd teased a new song called “Another One of Me,” which he said would be “the last feature I ever do ever in my career.” He didn’t reveal which other artist is on the track, but now we know — it’s Diddy.

Diddy posted about the song on his socials, revealing it’ll be on his The Love Album: Off the Grid, dropping September 15.

“IT’S OFFICIAL @THEWEEKND’S LAST COLLAB OF HIS CAREER WILL BE ON….THE LOVE ALBUM : OFF THE GRID!” Diddy writes.

Diddy also unveiled the other features on the 23-track album, and it’s a star-studded affair. Features include Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R, Summer Walker, Babyface, John Legend and Teyana Taylor.

The Love Album: Off the Grid marks Diddy’s first solo album since 2006’s Press Play.

We are thrilled to be able to travel around the East Coast this September to play stripped down sets in some of our favorite shops.”

Special screening of Jimi Hendrix doc to raise money for Maui wildfire victims

ABRAMORAMA Films

The Jimi Hendrix documentary Music, Money, Madness … Jimi Hendrix In Maui is getting a special screening in Los Angeles, with proceeds going to help the victims of the recent wildfires in Maui, Hawaii.

The screening is happening September 20 at the TCL Chinese Theatre at 7 p.m. It will include a Q&A with the film’s producers: Janie Hendrix, Hendrix’s sister and Experience Hendrix CEO, and John McDermott, who also directed the film. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Maui Food Bank, Hawaii Community Foundation—Maui Strong Fund and Maui Humane Society.

“Jimi loved Hawaii! His time there proved to be historic and really rather epic,” said Janie. “He was also a humanitarian in his own right, and very concerned about the human condition. This screening of the film of Jimi’s live concert in Maui is a profound opportunity for him to continue what he started there all those years ago, and at the same time help the people of Maui who have suffered such a tremendous loss.”

Music, Money, Madness … Jimi Hendrix In Maui follows the Jimi Hendrix Experience’s 1970 visit to Maui and their participation in the critically panned counterculture film Rainbow Bridge, produced by their controversial manager Michael Jeffery.

Tickets for the special TCL Chinese Theatre screening are on sale now.

Doja Cat removes album cover post following the news it’s nearly identical to another album cover

Kemosabe/RCA

Doja Cat may be changing the cover of her new album, Scarlet — because another group is releasing an album on the same day with practically the same artwork.

As Consequence notes, the German metal band Chaver announced their new album, Of Gloom, back in July. It’s coming out on September 22 and features an image of a purple spider with a round drop of purple blood above it. Doja’s album, also due September 22, features an image of a purple spider with a tear-shaped drop of blood above it.

Chaver’s album cover was created by artist Dusty Ray, who’s designed all their albums. Ray apparently designed Doja’s album cover, too. According to Consequence, Ray shared a tweet announcing it, though it appears to have been deleted.

And speaking of being deleted, Doja Cat has now apparently deleted her Instagram post announcing the album, which she’d posted on Tuesday. Her website still has the spider image, however.
