The two acts will co-headline the tour, which starts June 4 in Paducah, Kentucky, and is scheduled to wrap up July 1 in Layton, Utah. Each date will feature Edwin and Five For Fighting — the professional name of singer/songwriter John Ondrasik — alternating closing sets.

“I’ve always loved Five for Fighting and I’m excited to share the stage on this tour!” says Edwin in a statement.

So looking forward to sharing the stage with Ed and his fantastic band while bringing fans back to the future!” adds John. Tickets are currently on sale on both artists’ websites.

During the tour, fans will hear each artist’s biggest hits, including “I Could Not Ask for More” and “I’ll Be” from Edwin, and “Superman (It’s Not Easy),” “100 Years,” “The Riddle,” “Chances” and “World” from John.

Edwin’s most recent album is 2025’s Lucky; last year he also appeared on The Masked Singer. In recent years, John’s used his music to reflect world events, such as the war in Ukraine and the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel.

Mary J. Blige is among the stars set to take the stage at the 10th annual Love Rocks NYC, a benefit concert that raises money for God’s Love We Deliver, which provides medically tailored meals to New Yorkers living with severe illnesses.

Mary joins a lineup including Jon Batiste, Billy F Gibbons and Elvis Costello, with special guests to be announced. The show will be led by music director and band leader Will Lee and takes place March 5 at the Beacon Theatre. JB Smoove, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeff Ross, Julianne Moore, Paul Shaffer and Zarna Garg are also set to appear.

In other Mary news, her latest Lifetime film aired Saturday. Mary J. Blige Presents Be Happy follows the story of Val, a wife and stay-at-home mom who “is grappling with empty-nest feelings, loneliness and growing emotional distance from her husband Ross,” according to the synopsis. “She begins to realize that her marriage and the woman she once was, may be slipping away.”

The film is named after Mary’s song “Be Happy,” which she told Billboard was inspired by real-life experiences.

“When I was recording these songs, they were movies,” she said. “I was living ‘Real Love.’ Even if I didn’t go to college, I was searching for a real love.”

She added that Val’s story mirrors her own journey of self-discovery. “[S]he’s trying to figure out where she fits and what her purpose is now because her marriage is fizzling out, and it’s now time to reinvent, not be stuck and move forward,” she said. “That’s been the story of my life: reinventing. Not because somebody wants me to, but because it’s where life takes me.”

Mary is set to kick off her first-ever Las Vegas residency on May 1.

John Mellencamp has thrown his support behind Bad Bunny following the Latin superstar’s Super Bowl halftime show.

During his appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher Friday, John talked about how he was forced to change his name to John Cougar at the start of his career and cracked a joke about Bad Bunny’s name.

Noting that the critics thought John Cougar was a “cornball” name, he added, “You know, like Bad Bunny.”

“It’s kind of a corny name, I mean I don’t have anything against the guy, but it is a funny name,” he said.

He later proved he has nothing against Bad Bunny following his halftime show, when he praised the performance in a post on Instagram.

“I don’t know what Bad Bunny is saying, however I do know he is standing up for Puerto Rico and I am standing up for him,”  Mellencamp wrote. “His halftime show was great.”

John Mellencamp recently announced dates for Dancing Words Tour — The Greatest Hits, which kicks off July 10 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and wraps Aug. 12 in Mountain View, California. A complete list of dates can be found at Mellencamp.com.

USA Today is out with its annual Ad Meter ranking of Super Bowl commercials, which was based on votes by nearly 200,000 registered panelists. Many of this year’s ads featured famous musicians in some way, but only one of those ended up in the top 10 of USA Today‘s ranking.

Post Malone’s Bud Light ad, “Keg,” came in at #9 on the ranking of 54 Super Bowl ads this year. In the spot, Posty, Peyton Manning and Shane Gillis attend a wedding, where all the guests begin chasing a runaway keg of Bud Light down a hill.

The next most-popular ad involving a pop star was Redfin X Rocket Mortgage’s “America Needs Neighbors Like You,” which was soundtracked by Lady Gaga’s version of the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood theme. That one ranked #12. Right next to it at #13 was the State Farm Insurance spot “Stop Livin’ on a Prayer,” set to the classic Bon Jovi song and featuring a cameo from Jon Bon Jovi.

Sabrina Carpenter’s ad for Pringles came in at #22, while the Backstreet Boys’ spot for T-Mobile ranked #26. Benson Boone’s Instacart ad ranked #30.

All the way down at #49 was Charli XCX’s ad for Poppi soda. Coming in last at #54 was the Coinbase ad that consisted of the lyrics of the Backstreet Boys’ hit “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” flashed onscreen in retro karaoke graphics.

Don Henley says 2026 ‘will probably be it’ for the Eagles

The Eagles have several shows booked for 2026, but time may be running out to see them live. During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Don Henley indicated that this year will be the last for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group.

“You know, I think this year will probably be it,” he said. “And I’ve said things like that before, but I feel like we’re getting toward the end. And that will be fine too.”

When asked again if 2026 was truly the end of the Eagles, he replied, “I think so, yeah. And I’m OK with that.”

And while Henley said he often has to psych himself up to play the same songs he’s played for 50 years every night, he noted there’s a good reason he does it.

“You know it’s not about us, it’s about what (the songs) mean to the people we’re playing them for and therefore you have to play them every night with your heart in it, and you do it because of those people out there,” he said. “What makes us happy is that we make other people happy. We say that music is medicine and people need some medicine right now.”

Eagles return to the Sphere Las Vegas on Feb. 20, with shows booked through March 28. They will also play New Orleans Jazz Fest on May 2. A complete list of dates can be found at Eagles.com.
