Fans of The Beatles will have a new reason to plan a trip to London next year.

It was just announced that 3 Savile Row, the early location of the band’s Apple Corps headquarters, in Mayfair, London, will open its doors as the first-ever official Beatles fan experience.

The Beatles at 3 Savile Row, opening in 2027, will consist of seven floors filled with never-before-seen archival material from Apple Corps Ltd, along with rotating exhibits, a recreation of the original studio where the band recorded Let it Be, a fan store and more. Fans will also be able to access the building’s rooftop where The Beatles performed their famous Jan. 30, 1969, rooftop concert, their final public performance together.

“It was such a trip to get back to 3 Savile Row recently and have a look around,” says Paul McCartney. “There are so many special memories within the walls, not to mention the rooftop. The team have put together some really impressive plans and I’m excited for people to see it when it’s ready.”

Ringo Starr adds, “Wow, it’s like coming home.”

And that’s not all. It seems a second yet-to-be-revealed experience is also in the works, with details to be announced at a later date. Fans can register now to be the first to hear more news when its announced.

Not to be confused with the tech company Apple, Apple Corps LTD is a multimedia company founded by The Beatles in the 1960s, and included Apple Records, which the band launched in 1968.

In a 2025 interview with Rolling Stone, Sammy Hagar said that he hasn’t spoken to his Van Halen bandmate Alex Van Halen in 21 years. But that distance didn’t stop Sammy from wishing Alex a happy 73rd birthday on Friday.

“Alex, I know these wonderful magical times have passed, and of course will never happen again,” Hagar wrote on Instagram next to a video of Van Halen’s final bows at a 1995 show in Austin, Texas. “But I want to wish you all the peace, love and happiness in the world as well as a happy birthday.”

The post included a comment from former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, who wrote, “Definitely good times!! Happy Birthday Al.”

While Alex has never come out and said what his issues are with Sammy, he did seem to diss him in his 2024 book Brothers, by not even acknowledging the years Sammy was frontman of Van Halen, which produced four #1 albums for the band.

In fact, the book focused on only the David Lee Roth years, and Alex only sort of acknowledged Hagar and their third frontman Gary Cherone, by writing, “we had a lot of other singers over the years.”

Casting has been announced for a new BBC series that will focus on The Beatles’ early days as a band.

The six-part series, Hamburg Days, is based on the autobiography by German artist and musician Klaus Voormann, and is set in the ’60s when Voormann and photographer Astrid Kirchherr meet a young Liverpool rock band, who are playing in the clubs of Hamburg’s St. Pauli’s red-light district.

The film is set to star Irish actor Rhys Mannion, best known for the Irish thriller It Is In Us All, as John Lennon; Ellis Murphy as Paul McCartney; Harvey Brett as George Harrison; and Rivals’ Louis Landau as Stu Sutcliffe, with Patrick Gilmore playing Pete Best.

Also starring in the film are Luna Jordan as Kirchherr and Casper von Bülow as Voormann.

Hamburg Days is the fascinating story of how, in the space of two short years, a raw young band from Liverpool honed their music skills in Hamburg, before returning home to become an overnight worldwide success,” Sue Deeks, head of scripted pre-buy acquisitions at the BBC, said when the project was first announced in December. “It is an incredible story, accompanied (of course) by an amazing soundtrack!”

Filming on the series has begun in Hamburg, Munich and Liverpool.

This isn’t the only Beatles story in the works. Sam Mendes is directing The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event, which consist of four films, each told from the perspective of one of the band members. Due to hit theaters in April 2028, the film stars Paul Mescal as McCartney, Harris Dickinson as Lennon, Joseph Quinn as Harrison and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.

Neil Diamond’s new album, Wild At Heart, is out now, and to mark the occasion, the singer has released a new video for the track “You’re Getting to Me,” featuring Girls star Jemima Kirke and Fallout’s Cameron Cowperthwaite.

“I think Neil’s music really resonates with people who want to understand the complicated nature of love and relationships,” says Cowperthwaite. “I’m so happy I got to explore those inner workings with Tim and Jemima. We all really went for it, and I think this is a special thing we got to do.”

Wild At Heart features 10 previously unreleased tracks Diamond recorded while collaborating with producer Rick Rubin. Their collaboration produced two previous albums: 2005’s 12 Songs and Diamond’s first #1 record, 2008’s Home Before Dark.

The songs on Wild At Heart were recorded during the Home Before Dark sessions and featured Diamond recording with musicians including Benmont Tench and Mike Campbell of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers.

“My work with Rick was a labor of love,” Neil says, “and I’m so gratified that these songs will finally be set free into the world to complete our trilogy of work.”

Wild at Heart is available now on CD, LP and digitally. In addition, digital deluxe editions of 12 Songs and Home Before Dark are out now, featuring bonus tracks previously only available on select physical editions.
