Despite her recent family tragedy, Kelly Clarkson will be front and center when the seventh season of her award-winning talk show premieres in September.

The Kelly Clarkson Show will kick off Sept. 29 from the show’s New York City headquarters, with show tapings beginning Sept. 8. This season’s guests will include Lionel Richie, Colin Farrell, Julia Roberts, Sylvester Stallone, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Reese Witherspoon, Emily Blunt and Scarlett Johansson.

Additionally, the season 7 premiere week will spotlight the heroes who rescued campers from the flood in Texas in July.

While Kelly’s show has been off for the summer, she hasn’t been absent from our screens. Her Kelly Clarkson: Songs & Stories four-part special, which features her chatting and singing with musicians like Jonas Brothers and Teddy Swims, began airing on NBC in August.

Kelly, whose former husband Brandon Blackstock, the father of her children, died of cancer on Aug. 7, is also set to return to The Voice in the spring of 2026.

The official teaser trailer for A House of Dynamite has arrived.

Netflix released the trailer for Kathryn Bigelow‘s latest film on Wednesday, just after it made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

The film follows what happens when a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States. The incident starts a race to figure out who or what is responsible for it and how to respond.

A star-studded ensemble cast led by Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson tells the story of “a minute-by-minute account of what the highest levels of government would do in the face of a nuclear attack on America,” according to a description from Netflix.

Gabriel BassoJared HarrisTracy LettsAnthony RamosMoses IngramJonah Hauer-KingGreta Lee and Jason Clarke also star in the film.

The teaser trailer show tense scenes of the film’s characters coming to terms with the fact that the country is in grave danger, all set to a voice-over from the late astronomer Carl Sagan.

“In our obscurity there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves,” Sagan says. “The Earth is where we make our stand. It underscores our responsibility to preserve and cherish the only home we’ve ever known.”

Bigelow became the first woman to win the Oscar for best director for her 2010 film The Hurt Locker. She is also known for directing Point Break and Zero Dark Thirty.

A House of Dynamite debuts in select theaters in the U.K. on Oct. 3. It arrives in select theaters globally on Oct. 10 before making its streaming debut on Oct. 24.

KPop Demon Hunters continues to stay on top. The animated movie is Netflix’s most popular of all time, and while it has connected with those of all ages, younger people are really into the film.

Arden Cho, who voices Rumi in the film, told ABC Audio why she thinks the movie has resonated with younger people in the way it has.

“It’s nice to have your main characters that are essentially like modern-day superheroes or like princesses, but they’re not just perfect. They have flaws and they have insecurities. They’re empathetic and real and vulnerable,” Cho said. “That’s what makes them really relatable.”

May Hong, who voices Mira in the movie, said she did not predict the level of success the film has had.

“I felt it was a special project when I read the script and when we were working on it, and I knew that it was going to be so fun for me, but there was no way that I could have known,” Hong said. “I knew it would do well with a certain demographic, but I did not think that it would be the global phenomenon that it is.”

Although it is her voice that appears in the movie, Cho says she has been getting recognized out in public for the role.

“It’s really amazing how much children know now. I’ve had 7-year-olds running up to me and hugging me at the airport, and I’m like, ‘How do you even know?’ And they’re like, ‘I Googled you,'” Cho said.

KPop Demon Hunters is available to stream on Netflix.

Chloë Grace Moretz married her partner Kate Harrison over Labor Day Weekend.

The pair, who got engaged on Jan. 1 after seven years together, confirmed their nuptials over the weekend in an interview with Vogue, giving the outlet an inside look at their final fittings at the Louis Vuitton Atelier in Paris, France.

Moretz tied the knot with Harrison, a photographer and model, at the same venue in a private ceremony.

“We are overwhelmed in a good way,” Moretz told Vogue while awaiting her completed dress in the couple’s suite at the Le Bristol hotel.

Both women wore bespoke Nicolas Ghesquière designs for their big day, with Moretz in an old Hollywood-inspired light blue gown with matching veil, and Harrison in a white embellished bustier and skirt accompanied by a birdcage veil in front and a cathedral length veil in the back.

The pair changed into separate second looks following their ceremony, with Moretz sporting white trousers and cutout blazer with a cowboy hat and Harrison wearing a bodice and trousers set with a sheer overlay and covered buttons down the front, according to Vogue.

In an Instagram post Monday, Moretz thanked Louis Vuitton and its women’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, who designed both her ceremony and after-party looks.

“Words can’t begin to express how this feels,” Moretz wrote. “Your generosity, artistry, dedication and kindness knows no bounds,” she continued. “We feel so incredibly grateful. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it, but, thank you. Your vision made our day all the more meaningful.”

Netflix has announced that Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Mystery will release in select movie theaters for a limited, two-week run starting on Nov. 26. This comes ahead of its Netflix streaming debut on Dec. 12.

It is unclear how many markets the third Knives Out film will play in. The sequel Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery played in 600 movie theaters nationwide for one week in 2022 about a month before Netflix released it on streaming.

The film also features Josh O’ConnorGlenn CloseJosh BrolinMila KunisJeremy RennerKerry WashingtonAndrew ScottCailee SpaenyDaryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church.

This new film finds Benoit Blanc investigating his most dangerous case so far. According to its synopsis, it follows the young priest Jud Duplenticy (O’Connor), who’s “sent to assist charismatic firebrand Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Brolin)” in upstate New York.

“Wicks’s modest-but-devoted flock includes devout church lady Martha Delacroix (Close), circumspect groundskeeper Samson Holt (Haden Church), tightly-wound lawyer Vera Draven (Washington), aspiring politician Cy Draven (McCormack), town doctor Nat Sharp (Renner), best-selling author Lee Ross (Scott) and concert cellist Simone Vivane (Spaeny),” the synopsis reads. “After a sudden and seemingly impossible murder rocks the town, the lack of an obvious suspect prompts local police chief Geraldine Scott (Kunis) to join forces with renowned detective Benoit Blanc to unravel a mystery that defies all logic.”
